Ordered these built to my specs with stock Mitsubishi Graphite MMT shafts. This is one of the best looking and best feeling irons I have ever owned. There are a lot of forged irons out there but these are soft! Feedback is excellent so you can tell when you hit center or are off the mark a bit. Launch the ball high with excellent angle of descent and stopping power on the green. Can work the ball on partial and full shots. Distance control and dispersion are excellent and consistency is impressive. Distance is good for the lofts which are more traditional than todays `` players distance '' irons so if you are more interested in distance than control, feel and workability you may be disappointed. And while not as forgiving as a game improvement club these are no way as demanding as many blades and muscle backs on the market. As a 6 HCP I have no trouble gaming these One final note. I ordered these the first day pre- orders were being taken and it took longer than anticipated to be built due to a missing component. When I went for my fitting, Callaway was not on my list of clubs. Little did I know that the second I swung this club, i would be BLOWN away. Super soft off the face. The carry distance is exactly what I want to see. Spin was great but not overboard. While being fair to other manufacturers, I tried 4 other clubs without looking at them and could pick the xforged cb EVERY time simply off of feel. I was hesitant to pull the trigger to buy these clubs. I was not sure how much of an improvement they would be over my 2023 Big Bertha set but pull the trade since the deal made sense. Love the look, and am quite impressed with their forgiveness, accuracy and distance. Medium to low spin ratio compared to previous clubs so they tend to roll quite a bit upon landing, hence longer total distance. Just need to get used to my new total distance. Very pleased indeed!

I had the previous generation of CB wedges and went to the Opus when they came out. Although a decent club they weren ’ t a good fit for me. When I saw these released I knew what I had to do. I needed to redo the lofts in my bag anyway so decided to pull the trigger and get the CB12s. So happy I did. The are so much more forgiving than the Opus. Yes, it is still possible to hit a bad shot, but I feel like it happens so rarely now due to the grind and forgiveness of the face. I would highly recommend these if you aren ’ t the best wedge player.

Finaly have enough rounds in to judge honestly. My highest iron is a 7( hybrids/fairway for 6 and up), and its easy to hit. High and straight is the norm. Distances on par for lofts. Again, high and straight, which suits me fine. I 've had game and super game improvement irons always, and these are thin compared. The look at address is not what I was used to. That's a thicker topline, but these clubs go! It's like hitting a players iron, with the ease of a game/super game improvement iron. Not doubting purchase whatsoever.

I recently moved to CO a couple years ago from San Diego. I struggled in the altitude holding greens, especially in the late fall and winter, since I used a lower spin ball and lower flighted clubs. These clubs increased my spin and my ball flight so even my 4iron in has chance to hold. They also cut the turf really well so you can feel the speed in and out of grass. Also, the feel on these are amazing only rivaled to Mizuno's IMO and the new Taylormade P7CB which I had an opportunity to try. Lastly and most importantly, these clubs are very consistent. I owned Taylormade P770's and I would get a lot of hot low spinning balls hitting my 6, 5, 4 irons. These irons output stable and consistent based on your strike. The offer some help in the heel but most of the help in the toe miss, I 've found. Highly recommend these. I was thinking about getting the older T300 irons, but decided to do a fitting. At the fitting I was able to swing them as well as these, and I 'm glad I did. Ended up deciding on these, have played 3 rounds with them, and have already seen a big improvement in my iron play. I am still a higher handicap player, but these are the most forgiving irons I have hit, and it shows on the course. Would recommend to any other higher handicap player.

I am a 7. 2 handicap. Hit these clubs and fell in love with them. They look fantastic and have a nice feel without the harsh sound that some hollow body clubs produce. They are strong lofted so they are about 7- 8 yards longer than my previous set but still have enough spin and height to stop on the greens. I was torn between this club and the T200 and considered go with a mixed bag but in the end decided to go with the full set of T350's. My dispersion and distance control have met all my expectations. One thing to keep in mind is if you like to work the ball in either direction this may not be the right club for you and I would look at the T150's. Spin numbers and descent angle are good but not in player club territory IMO.

I bought these after switching from a set of blades when I was younger. But I bought this early in 2024 after sustaining an injury and wanting an easier club to hit while maintaining a players' club feel and performance. It took a while getting used to the stronger lofts, but I really liked the lower penetrating ball flight for control. It's surprisingly easy to work the ball left- to- right, or right- to- left or simply hitting it dead straight. It's definitely a confidence builder when you 're standing on the tee box in front of water on a par 3 and just thinking of how to attack the flag rather than worrying about just carrying the hazard. It makes me want to try out the Srixon hybrids and fairway woods.

I Got fitted and these were far and away the best head for me so I went to callaway online and ordered them to my specs. After a short wait the clubs arrived and I unboxed them. I am happy to say the look and feel of these clubs check all the boxes for me. I ’ m 62 years old and have only played for about 10 years now so my swing is still under construction. I ’ ve learned age can steal some swing speed so I was fitted with a lighter weight graphite shaft this time and it has seemed to help. As far as performance……I can truthfully say my shot dispersion has improved greatly with this combination. In fact my first round played with these in league was my lowest ever and was capped off with my first “ Hole in 1 ” on a 138 yard par 3. Was it luck…yes, but now I feel like I can actually aim for a flag instead of hoping to just hit the green. All in all I would recommend theses clubs to anyone. These are labeled in Golf Digest as a game improvement iron which indicates they are more for high handicappers and beginners. I am 58 years old and a lifetime 5- 10 handicap and these irons make me feel like I am 30 years old again. I picked up 25 yards with my 7 iron as compared to my cut muscle blades that I got fitted for twenty years ago. The ball launches high which helps it hold the greens even with the lower spin. But because of the lower spin and larger sweet spot, my mis- hits go further and than before and do not stray off line as much. I did a combo set with the p770's and p7cb's. I went 8 iron thru pitching wedge for the p7cbs. They are very easy to hit, and I do n't think these irons are limited to only low handicappers. You can feel mishits, but they are not overly punishing. Very easy to hit draws and cuts. I might even end up swapping my 7 iron to the p7cbs with as easy as they are to hit.

I ordered these irons 3 weeks ago and just got them. Played them right away and holy moly changed my game the first time. Took 10 shots off my off my score. Broke 90 for the first time. My friends were impressed and will probably purchase these irons themselves. The sweet sound and high lofts were I was able to see them at work. I highly recommend them.

I played Mizuno 921 Forged for two years and loved their feel and workability. But as I have aged, my game has slipped and I wasn ’ t catching that smaller sweet spot from 160 in. Switched to the G430s with regular Alta shafts and Shazam the iron game is back. It took some trial and error with the PW through 58 but the yardage results are tight and satisfying.

I ’ ll start off by saying I ’ m an 8 handicap. I probably should have bought the Ai200 irons but still at this point, forgiveness is more important than workability. I received them within 5 days of ordering, which was super quick. Took them to the range and hit each iron a handful of times. Played my first 9 holes with them yesterday and for the second time in my life of playing golf, shot even par. I ’ ve got more confidence, contact feels solid and I ’ m gaining about 10 yards per iron compared to my old irons. I couldn ’ t be more happy and excited to keep playing with these irons. If you are debating wether or not you should buy an Apex set, DO IT!!!

When you make contact with the ball, the feeling in your hands just can ’ t be described. Even miss hits are great shots. The view standing over the ball looks great and makes you feel confident before swinging the club.
