A neighbor and good acquaintance of mine who plays for the St. Louis Cardinals bought one of these new Changeup machines. He told me it was the most effective machine he has ever used so I bought one for my sons. It is amazing how it throws change ups with a push of a button on a remote just like your car. You ca n't tell it is slowing down or speeding up. It is just like hitting against a pitcher in a game. The speed changes immediately in between pitches. Best money I ever spent to improve my kids hitting.

Just used it for the first time with my high school son. I was skeptical that the Changeup would somehow be telegraphed to the hitter. I thought for sure you could see the wheel slow down. I was wrong. I thought for sure you would be able to hear the motor slow down. I was wrong again. Finally, I figured the machine would take too long to adjust from Fastball to Changeup. Wrong for the third time. Hitting off this machine is just like being at bat in a game. When I played in high school and college, batting practice off machines became almost automatic. You knew the type of pitch, the speed and the general location before the next ball was pitched. This machine changes everything. My son will be able to learn to keep his bat back and not let it drift forward on off- speed pitches. If you are a serious coach or have serious ball players in your family, this machine is a must!

This machine is for real. A coach friend of mine in California saw it at a tournament last summer and called me about it. He told me, `` You have got to get this machine for your travel team. '' I have been using it the last two weeks with my girls. It is just like hitting in a game. I push the button on the remote and it throws a perfect changeup. I push the button again and it throws a fastball/riser with no delay between pitches. The machine gives nothing away to alert the hitter which pitch is coming. Purchased this for my 15 year old son to have in his 30 ft. batting cage built in the back yard. Super easy to put together and my son and husband have been in the back yard for hours hitting. Great pitches and super quiet and durable. Excellent Purchase and glad we purchased. This definitely gives him a work out and prepared for the high- school season.

This Pitching machine was bought for my Grandsons( ages 11& 7) Both boys play on leagues in the summer. This was bought to practice with in the off season. The description is very accurate. It is a very well built, solid machine. Easy to put together& store. The boys are loving it. I believe it was not recommended for the age of 7 but it challenges him and he does well with it. I would buy it again

Heater over delivered on the Heater Pro Curveball Pitching Machine, it's the single best single wheel real baseball pitching machine I have ever seen. Before delivery I was somewhat skeptical but I was impressed immediately with the construction and the easy of assembly, I fired the first ball out my front door 15 minutes after it was delivered. I will say this, speed 10, 50 MPH at 46- 50 feet is going to overpower most kids under 12, it seems more like a mid 80's pitch from that range so if you have a small cage 50 foot or smaller this is your ideal machine as the kids wo n't outgrow it for a few years. I 've shown this to several coaches and they all said the same that it throws much harder than what it advertises. Great machine and the price is fantastic.
