Fast. Currently running in Invincible 3s and Infinity Rn4s, I actually bought these just to have. As an older runner with knee arthritis, I need good cushion. I 've been using the gore- Tex trail shoes with Currex high arch insoles for more than a year of consecutive daily running. I was doing more trail/gravel running til late winter& switched to the track for later runs. This is my first carbon plate Nikes and I ca n't believe how much faster& lighter they feel on my feet. Of course now I want to try the vapor/alphas as well. I have really high arches and it is like they made this shoe to fit me perfectly. I may end up putting my insoles in but I had not even needed them for my first week of runs in them. I 'm definitely going faster than I 'd even imagined. Great shoes. I 'd love to see more colorways. I actually worked in them the first night I got them and had several complements. I felt like I was Tigger from Winnie the Pooh bouncing around the hospital all night.

I ’ m relatively new to road racing( having done just one half marathon this year) and this is my first carbon shoe. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile- your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7. 5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we ’ ll see.

Alphafly 2 has been my only running shoe, so I ’ m sorry to see it appears to be on the way out. I hope the 3 is just as good. I love the booty fit without the need to deal with a loose tongue. Grab the loops at the top and back to slip on more easily. The laces did dig into the top of my feet, but problem solved with a Lydiard- style lacing( see photo).

From what I 've been told, it is recommended that you take a stroll in new running shoes to warm them up and stretch them out a bit. However, I took these shoes on a run fresh out of the box and it felt great. This is not normal for me by the way. I 'm a flat- footed monster with wide feet and if the shoe does n't fit while I 'm running, it can get extremely painful. The Pegasus always seem to deliver for me. I ’ m a big guy, 6 ’ 1 250 currently on a weight loss journey and these shoes feel phenomenal during my runs. I ’ m new to running distances more than 1- 2 miles so I was concerned about the cushion and how comfortable the shoe would feel but it ’s just not an issue. Great shoe even for bigger people.

From what I 've been told, it is recommended that you take a stroll in new running shoes to warm them up and stretch them out a bit. However, I took these shoes on a run fresh out of the box and it felt great. This is not normal for me by the way. I 'm a flat- footed monster with wide feet and if the shoe does n't fit while I 'm running, it can get extremely painful. The Pegasus always seem to deliver for me. Neutral running shoes work the best for my flat feet and I 'm so happy with my purchase. I look forward to using this bad boy as my daily. I 'm 5' 1 '', and wear a 6. 5 in womens running shoes. Size up half a size for wide footed monsters.

Purchased these off of a friend ’s recommendation and I couldn ’ t be happier so far! My last pair of running shoes desperately needed to be retired at almost 600miles, so running in these was a blessing to my feet. Very comfy, good grip, holds my foot well. Nike must have changed their shoe box because old Nike shoes used to be so uncomfortable.

As an OG runner I need more cushioning because my old shoes were giving me shin splints. On the first run with these my feet felt effortless and felt like you ’ re running on clouds. These are very comfortable. It does feel like you are walking on air. There is n't any harsh shock to the foot when moving in these shoes. The toe box on the men's shoe is better fitting than the women's shoe. This is narrower and fits me much better. Nothing rubs at the arch. I recommend these. The waterproof Gore- Tex is great to keep one's socks and feet totally dry. The only thing I do n't like is the looks of the trim they put on the Pegasus 41 around the toe box. Yet, it does n't affect the shoe itself.
