[ I have a gravel bike that I also use for road riding( switching out the wheel set). I love that i can use the platform side for dirt and have the freedom to put my foot down without the struggle of unclipping on rough terrain. There's a slight learning curve to avoid accidentally clipping in but it quickly becomes second nature. There is plenty of surface area to ride with street shoes as well. I love these!

If you live somewhere with 90+ degree weather all summer, you know that most mountain bike shoes are not made for breathability aside from XC shoes which are in general better ventilated. These are a great option for hot weather riding. I think they could apply a lot of the engineering of this show to the hellcat pro and make a knockout trail shoe. The lacing is much more effective on shoes with flexible uppers than typical mountain bike shoes that have become like stiff plastic over the past 10 years. Runs long... I bought a half size down( 11 vs 11. 5) after trying my normal size.

Bought last week and took out on the pond today and had a fun time. My 26 yr old son and I( an average 50ish woman) had no trouble carrying it to the pond and getting it into the water. He is 6 ’ 2 ” and sat comfortably in it and able to pedal. One person could pedal this boat by themselves also. Three people can sit in the front, two comfortably. Not sure about sitting in the back... it ’s a bit small but good for storing stuff. The canopy is nice to keep out of the sun. It is perfect to pedal around our one acre pond. Hopefully it will last a long time.

I wear size 14 US athletic shoes and got a 49 size( about 13. 5 US) in these shoes and am very happy with the length. They stay tight and do n't stretch over the ride like my old ones did. Much easier to hike- a- bike without the steal toe cleats like my old shoes too. Maybe less than stellar: Feels kind of bulky in the forefoot sole if you 're standing on rocks, but it's tolerable. I do n't notice it when riding though. Not sure how long the BOA system will last. It seems like I 'm going to pull it apart when I disengage it, but time will tell. I would recommend these. In fact, I 'm going to get my girlfriend a pair.

[ I bought these a month ago and I 've worn them almost every day since then for rides between 30 and 80 miles. They are very comfortable and the stiffness of the sole has eliminated some plantar pain I was developing with my old shoes. The only objection is that the velcro straps are just barely long enough( I have wide feet). The shoes fit my feet well enough but only with thin liner socks- I 'm not sure these will work well for cold weather rides given my wide feet( and need for thicker socks).
