This mug does all that it is supposed to do. It is well built, and will likely last longer than I do. It keeps my coffee hot for longer than I need it to. Its lid, a simple plastic insert that press- fits into the mouth of the mug, while low tech, does its job. It is comfortable in the hand. The 24oz. mug is the perfect size for my morning coffee. I fill it with two Keurig pods. It takes me a while to finish drinking the coffee at my desk, while reading my morning email, and the coffee is still plenty hot when I 'm done. If there is one downside for me, it's that this mug is just a little too tall to fit under my Keurig coffee maker. I have to take the drain grating off the machine to get it to fit. If it were just a bit(. 5in) shorter, and a bit wider, it would be perfect. It still gets five stars.

With that said, sometimes I find myself halfway through my tea before I realize I forgot to put the HotLips on as over the tea cools to the right temperature to drink the mug rim no longer burns the lips.
