The collapsible handles are perfect for consolidating and can be stuffed with socks, etc. to take up even less space and protect it. It will bend a little if you crush is, but a little squeeze on the elongated side and it's like new again. It cleans easily and does n't retain odors. I 've yet to have is stain or scratch. Overall a solid product. If you do n't mind spending a few extra dollars on the Snow Peak brand, it's worth the money, otherwise there are several more cost effective brands that make a similar mug.

If you are looking for a quality enameled steel camping set this is a great buy for the price. I purchased the Pioneer Camp Set in blue and additional pieces over a year and half ago.
