I recently moved to CO a couple years ago from San Diego. I struggled in the altitude holding greens, especially in the late fall and winter, since I used a lower spin ball and lower flighted clubs. These clubs increased my spin and my ball flight so even my 4iron in has chance to hold. They also cut the turf really well so you can feel the speed in and out of grass. Also, the feel on these are amazing only rivaled to Mizuno's IMO and the new Taylormade P7CB which I had an opportunity to try. Lastly and most importantly, these clubs are very consistent. I owned Taylormade P770's and I would get a lot of hot low spinning balls hitting my 6, 5, 4 irons. These irons output stable and consistent based on your strike. The offer some help in the heel but most of the help in the toe miss, I 've found. Highly recommend these. I went in for a iron and wedge fit with no preconceived outcome. With a swing speed consistently around 90mph with a 7 iron these clubs just felt far better than anything else I hit. My yardages were extremely consistent, my dispersion was within yards, and ideal launch and spin. For me they are paired with Project X- LS shafts. The interesting part is that I had hit all other cavity back irons from the major manufactures. This was the only `` players distance '' iron in the test. In the end it came down to APEX pro's and Mizuno Pro 243's. Being my last two iron sets were also Mizuno I greatly appreciate an iron being soft and consistent. The APEX Pro was as soft and more consistent. Truly inspires confidence when I line up for every shot. I paired a complete set of AW- 4I with a 56 and 60 wedge set. These fly high with out excessive spin, stay on line, and offer a smooth swing weight. Give them some serious consideration for your next set.

Im a bogey golfer and needed some new clubs. I ’ ve played a few games with these clubs and i can honestly say I ’ m very happy considering the price of them. Putter has pretty good forgiveness and i can hit the driver nice and straight but not super far. I ’ m 5 ’ 8 and 175lbs and these feel like they fit me perfectly. I really like the irons a lot. So it ’s a great set to start with and I ’ m looking forward to build on it, eventually looking into getting a nicer driver and maybe some nicer wedges and a 5 iron. Overall super satisfied so far!

I bought this set a few years ago and is pretty good for starting out. I 've ended up picking and choosing what stays in my bag and what to move on from. Putter is awful, if you think you will even half way stick with golf I recommend upgrading immediately. Nothing too crazy of a putter, maybe like a$ 50 putter on sale or something. I never got on with the putter and it is easily the worst part of this bag. The driver is decent enough but it is about an inch shorter than standard driver lengths and is whippy. Like really whippy, I 'd say it is between regular flex and senior flex. It's a nice experience when you struggle to make consistent contact, but any sort of speed in the swing will cause it to flex heavily, leading it to the next thing I 'd upgrade. But, a good enough driver to learn on. After about 3. 5 years I still game my irons. They are heavy and chunkier than some higher quality ones, but they are more than good enough. Also it includes 2 wedges, by far the best part of the bag. All in all really good value for the price, especially when they go on sale, which is pretty frequently.

He helped my daughter practice in the bay with multiple clubs until she was comfortable with the Callaway Mavrik clubs. We bought the entire set of hybrids( 4/5) and irons( 6- A). Really like the feel and comfort of these clubs. The only negative is that there are hybrids for clubs 3, 4,& 5 but would ’ ve liked at least one iron instead of all hybrids. The 6, 7, 8,& 9 irons are great. Overall excellent results.

It's an excellent set for a beginner mid/high handicapper. I love all the clubs in the set. It's fantastic that you can choose different shaft flexibilities. I was looking for stiff shafts for my woods and driver, and I have them here! I miss the 5 iron or hybrid a bit, but the 4H does its job well. However, I did n't like the bag that comes with the set. It's designed for a cart, so if you plan to walk on the course, you 'll probably want to buy another bag( which I did). Overall, I 'm very happy with the set and would definitely recommend it.
