The first couple of times I wore these, I wasn ’ t sure. I had been wearing Sketchers pickleball shoes, and these were less cushy but have better arch support. Although they don ’ t feel as soft when I wear them, I have much less foot and knee discomfort after I ’ m done playing. Great stability and control. Of all of the current Nike tennis shoes for women, these are the ones that find the balance of stability without being too heavy or clunky. The GP Challenge Pro is the best shoes for anyone playing hardcourt 3+/week. For me, the Zooms are too flexible- there are n't any brakes when you sprint and change direction on hardcourt in the Zooms. Plus the sole of the Zoom wears out too quickly, I replaced them every two months because the tread was gone. The Zooms triggered plantar fasciitis when I wore them because my feet were working too hard in the loose, flexible shoe. A competitor of mine broke her foot the first time she wore the Zooms. First short ball she sprinted from the baseline and broke her foot. No stability. The Osaka's are CUTE but are far too heavy and not breathable enough for a long singles match. Enter the GP Challenge Pro. The upper has reinforcement at the midsole to keep you locked in. It prevents you from sliding through the toe when you are sweaty and chasing short balls. The tread is hearty and holds up with frequent hardcourt use- I am replacing mine every 6 months which is typical if not a little longer than usual. And the sole has an athletic contour with little give that makes the shoe very responsive. They are such a good shoe that you never have to think about them. My only gripe about them is the CHEAP insole. It is so laughably bad it ruins the shoe. I end up using the Sof Sole athletic gel insole. It is easier on the joints and prevents blisters and bunching than the sole provided. With the replacement insole it is a 5 star shoe.

These court shoes run narrow, I do not have narrow feet. I needed them for a tournament and had no time to exchange for wide, so I decided to wear them anyway and deal with them being tighter than optimal. They were comfortable anyway. I chose thin socks and have worn them to play pickle ball twice without a problem. I love how the look too. If I were to order them again, I would probably order the wide so I could wear my normal socks, but I think once they are really broken in, they will be fine.

These are very good, reliable shoes. My feet feel protected on impact with the ground in my stride for walking, but I wear these generally for playing tennis. I do still play tennis and I feel these are the best shoes for the game. I usually recommend these shoes, when asked for recommendations for the best tennis court shoe. I can move around the court quickly and efficiently, up or down the court or side to side. My feet feel supported. This is, perhaps, my 5th or 6th pair of ASICS. I usually wear a 7. 5 or 8 depending on the brand. I got the 8. I tried on the 8. 5 and they felt better in the store but were too long. After wearing them for one round robin, I am thrilled that I bought these. I do wear thin socks and use a shoe horn to get them on. I get lots of comments about how cute/nice they are also. I 've been struggling to find women's court shoes that have a wide enough toe box to be comfortable for my bunions and large side bone. These are very roomy and the fact they they have only mesh in some areas which adds for a softer feel for messed up feet like mine. I have n't played tennis yet in these but in general I am way happier with the fit. I used to loyally wear K- Swiss until they changed the sizing and became too narrow for my problem feet.

I own seven pairs of pickleball shoes( yes, obsessed), and these are the best. I have K- Swiss( 3 pairs), Skechers, Cypher, and Diadem. These are the most comfortable of them all and offer the best support. They 're also cute and roomy. My kids bought them for me for Christmas, and they 're still in great shape, but I just bought another pair for when they wear out( the price is great! and is less than half of some of my other PB shoes). I would get a pair before they 're all gone. I bought a half size up because that's what my kids bought for me, and the fit is perfect. The toe box is roomy, and the laces are not too long, but I kept them in their original configuration. I even wear them to work sometimes because they 're so comfortable.

Glad New Balance updated the stock photo for this shoe because it was the men's colorway for a while. I also, I wish that womens colors were also mens colors just like Brooks shoes. Size 9. 5 regular was perfect. I had been a 9wide and tried the 9. 5 wide and 10 regular because they felt so snug. Once I got on the court, properly laced, they support well and my foot has room without slipping inside the shoe. My PT also said the Y shape was the best.
