These shoes are fun and feel pretty good. My feet feel stable in them; however, the tongue does n't seem like it is wide enough at the top. There is just enough of a gap to rub my foot. I have to readjust the tongue a few times to make sure that area is completely covered so as not to rub. I do n't think sizing up would help this issue because the rest of the shoe fits perfectly for me. For the record, I do n't have wide feet nor are they narrow.

I 've been struggling to find women's court shoes that have a wide enough toe box to be comfortable for my bunions and large side bone. Great stability and control. Of all of the current Nike tennis shoes for women, these are the ones that find the balance of stability without being too heavy or clunky. The GP Challenge Pro is the best shoes for anyone playing hardcourt 3+/week. For me, the Zooms are too flexible- there are n't any brakes when you sprint and change direction on hardcourt in the Zooms. Plus the sole of the Zoom wears out too quickly, I replaced them every two months because the tread was gone. The Zooms triggered plantar fasciitis when I wore them because my feet were working too hard in the loose, flexible shoe. A competitor of mine broke her foot the first time she wore the Zooms. First short ball she sprinted from the baseline and broke her foot. No stability. The Osaka's are CUTE but are far too heavy and not breathable enough for a long singles match. Enter the GP Challenge Pro. The upper has reinforcement at the midsole to keep you locked in. It prevents you from sliding through the toe when you are sweaty and chasing short balls. The tread is hearty and holds up with frequent hardcourt use- I am replacing mine every 6 months which is typical if not a little longer than usual. And the sole has an athletic contour with little give that makes the shoe very responsive. They are such a good shoe that you never have to think about them. My only gripe about them is the CHEAP insole. It is so laughably bad it ruins the shoe. I end up using the Sof Sole athletic gel insole. It is easier on the joints and prevents blisters and bunching than the sole provided. With the replacement insole it is a 5 star shoe.

Having tried two other pickleball specific shoes I was looking for a shoe that had a wider toe box, and a bit more cushioning. A friend suggested the new Nike Zoom challenge shoe. I am so glad to have found this shoe. It definitely has lots of cushioning, is great for side ways movement about the court and has a good grip on the court surface. It is exactly the responsive type shoe I was looking for.

I bought these since my knees were hurting from lack of lateral support with my current court shoes. They are very tight when you first put them on. You might even think they are way too small. I usually wear a 7. 5 or 8 depending on the brand. I got the 8. I tried on the 8. 5 and they felt better in the store but were too long. After wearing them for one round robin, I am thrilled that I bought these. I do wear thin socks and use a shoe horn to get them on. I get lots of comments about how cute/nice they are also. Be prepared that these shoes do not give much but they are great for this sport.

My favorite shoe! Built to last and plays to perform. This shoe fits snug and gives you support so you can excel on the court. You feel ready to attack a move with speed and control. They do n't feel like just another shoe. I bought the vapor 11 and they fo not compare. They feel flat and less support. They are made well but you may burn through the toe area fast. You wo n't burn through the toe in the Cage 4 Rafa. They work for me. I have an average foot with no specific needs. These are my match time shoes.

I own seven pairs of pickleball shoes( yes, obsessed), and these are the best. I have K- Swiss( 3 pairs), Skechers, Cypher, and Diadem. These are the most comfortable of them all and offer the best support. They 're also cute and roomy. My kids bought them for me for Christmas, and they 're still in great shape, but I just bought another pair for when they wear out( the price is great! and is less than half of some of my other PB shoes). I would get a pair before they 're all gone. I bought a half size up because that's what my kids bought for me, and the fit is perfect. The toe box is roomy, and the laces are not too long, but I kept them in their original configuration. I even wear them to work sometimes because they 're so comfortable.
