I tested it personally inside the gym, Outside on turf and track areas, Along with grass and outdoor terrain. I coached hard in these shoes, And they stood strong at every test I gave them. Once the shoes broke- in They formed perfectly to my feet and were a lot more comfortable than expected. A really cool part is that all I had to do was wipe them down with a cloth to remove any dirt from the shoe and it looked like it was brand new. I think that was my favorite part the material used to make the shoe and the versatility. They had really good grip on the bottom for a different types of surfaces not just an indoor shoe or an outdoor shoe, The style was very slick and I appreciate the minimalistic designs. The sole is very stiff — even with Game- day Pro insoles, I felt ankle pain and couldn ’ t play back- to- back matches. Performance: The close- to- the- ground feel( like V1) is excellent for explosive movement, and the wider toe box is a big improvement over the cramped V2. Durability is still TBD; past ON Pros lasted me only a few months at 8 – 10 hrs/week of play. Looks: Best silhouette in tennis shoes — sleek even in large sizes( unlike the clownish look of Asics Court FF). But the “ Swiss Engineering ” label feels like marketing, not sport- specific design. Bottom line: • Pros: roomy toe box, great court feel, sharp design. • Cons: short fit, low toe cap, overly hard sole, questionable durability. If ON could make the V1 last longer, it ’ d be the perfect shoe. Right now, I only buy them for the looks, not the performance. As for this listing, there is a mistake. The stability is solid, giving me confidence on quick lateral movements, but they ’ re still super comfortable. I have picky feet, and these just work. [ Having only moments to crack open the new shoe box to the start of a long day of tournament matches, the Coco Delray felt like it was personally designed for my feet and knees. The first tennis shoe I have worn not requiring a significant break- in period. There was no need for mid- match Band- aids or doubling up on socks. The wide- set shoelace holes allows me to easily customize the fit yet does n't impact the toe box. Padding and support around the ankles and reinforced mid- sole gave fantastic trusting stability yet the shoe was surprisingly flexible and still felt lightweight at the end of a long day of playing. Playing on both outdoor and indoor courts, the traction pattern and depth on the outsole gripped the court giving confidence in making sharp cuts and quick stops regardless of court condition.

[ I actually bought and tried on 15 different brands of Tennis Shoes, including these, and other great Models like the K- Swiss Hypercourt Pinnacles and the Nike Challenge 1. 5 Zoom. It was easy to return the ones I did n't want. These Rush Tour 5 were my favorites. Comfortable, good fit, no heel slippage, and most important: incredibly bouncy! You can really feel that carbon fiber springboard- it makes it easy to launch or jump. You feel springy and energized. The carbon fiber springboard works better than Nike's top of the line Air Zoom padding. The support is excellent- no chance of an ankle twist with quick lateral movements. They also seem to be very sturdy, durable and well made. Warning: The only downside is they run narrow and the toe box is a bit tight. I tried going up 1 and 2 sizes, but the shoes just get longer and still remain narrow and tight. So I got a shoe stretcher that helps widen the toe box and it worked! Now they fit perfect!

The traction is legit, especially when you ’ re pushing hard and changing direction, and they feel really stable without being bulky. They fit like a glove — snug in all the right places — but still comfortable. Weight- wise, they ’ re right in that sweet spot, not too heavy, not too light. I also like the style, and the extra eyelets for a runner ’s knot are a nice touch — it really helps lock your foot in. I usually need orthotics in my court shoes, but with these, I don ’ t even think about it. They just work. Only knock is they run a little warm, but honestly, that ’s a small trade- off for how solid they are overall.

These shoes are fun and feel pretty good. My feet feel stable in them; however, the tongue does n't seem like it is wide enough at the top. There is just enough of a gap to rub my foot. I have to readjust the tongue a few times to make sure that area is completely covered so as not to rub. I do n't think sizing up would help this issue because the rest of the shoe fits perfectly for me. For the record, I do n't have wide feet nor are they narrow.

I 've been using this shoe for a couple months now and its still a well structured shoe. I have a lot of toe drag and the material of the shoe has n't worn down despite this. It is overall pretty stiff and keeps your foot from slipping in the shoe a lot, as well as a stiffer material on the top of the shoe. The side of your foot is well supported by the rubber lip on the outside of your shoe which helps with support with larger movements to the side. I switched to this shoe from the Nike Zoom HyperAce 2 and was happy with the changes.
