The first tennis shoe I have worn not requiring a significant break- in period. There was no need for mid- match Band- aids or doubling up on socks. The wide- set shoelace holes allows me to easily customize the fit yet does n't impact the toe box. Padding and support around the ankles and reinforced mid- sole gave fantastic trusting stability yet the shoe was surprisingly flexible and still felt lightweight at the end of a long day of playing. The sales associate came back out with her size but the shoe was n't the exact same as what my daughter had picked out.( The sales associate did not mention it was a different shoe.) My daughter liked the shoes she tried on, and we bought them. The shoes we bought were higher price than the shoe she originally picked out. So be aware of that when picking out a shoe and the sales associate brings out a slightly different style.

Being my first time trying on a Wilson shoe, I was surprised to find out how comfortable and light this particular design was on first try. Having this model on for a few minutes while testing out the feel on foot really gave me a great experience as I am just dipping my toe into the world of Tennis. I love the versatility of this shoe as I can not only wear it for sport but I can wear it casually as a lifestyle shoe as well. This is the 3rd version of the Roger Pros, but V1 is still the best. Fit& Comfort: Runs a bit short, with a low toe cap that presses on toenails. After an hour on hard courts, it gets uncomfortable. The sole is very stiff — even with Game- day Pro insoles, I felt ankle pain and couldn ’ t play back- to- back matches. Performance: The close- to- the- ground feel( like V1) is excellent for explosive movement, and the wider toe box is a big improvement over the cramped V2. Durability is still TBD; past ON Pros lasted me only a few months at 8 – 10 hrs/week of play. Looks: Best silhouette in tennis shoes — sleek even in large sizes( unlike the clownish look of Asics Court FF). But the “ Swiss Engineering ” label feels like marketing, not sport- specific design. Bottom line: • Pros: roomy toe box, great court feel, sharp design. • Cons: short fit, low toe cap, overly hard sole, questionable durability. If ON could make the V1 last longer, it ’ d be the perfect shoe. Right now, I only buy them for the looks, not the performance. As for this listing, there is a mistake. The photos show white version which I ordered, but the color name is pink version which I received, and decided to keep.

I had never tried a Wilson shoe before, and am a size 8 in Adidas. I play around 4- 5 times a week, friendlies, drills and league play. As soon as I saw the crisp green and white palette that matches my club colors I wanted to try them on. I have wider, flatter feet, and a size 8. 5 felt great on. Supportive but not heavy or clunky, they are cushioned without adding too much height and bulk. I am hoping the rest of my team gets on board- these green and white ones will fly off shelves once players try them on. Thank you Wilson!

I saw a friend wearing this shoe and I loved the look. Based on her glowing review I decided to give the Intrigue and the Wilson brand a go. Now that I have had these for a couple of weeks( playing 2- 3 times a week) I can not say enough good about them. Not only are they really attractive( I purchased the all white as it goes with everything- but will be investing in other colorways) but they felt really comfortable and light right away. Sometimes I think light means not very supportive, the other brand that I wear and like feels a little block like, not so with the Intrigue. From the first time I played in them they were so good that they did not even enter my mind during play, other than that I think they are cute. No bad break- in period. I know we are just talking about tennis shoes here, but these feel simple, classic, and beautiful. Wilson is knocking it out of the park with their tennis gear and I am along for the ride!
