Light weight and small tight pack for backpacking. Truly keeps you comfortable in the 30s. Got a little cold with an unexpected night in the teens but thats obviously understandable. Nice snug fit that doesn ’ t leave cold voids/spots inside your bag. I ’ ve had for over 3 years and have not had a bad experience yet. Surprised by the low price on this high quality of bag. Great value for sure

5 Pennyflip
This is a very nice product, I 've only used it a couple of times. I was worried it might get too degrees hot in it but I was very comfortable snuggled up in it on my hammock through a 60- 70 F night. This is my first mummy style sleeping bag, so I 'm still getting used to the feel of the cocoon, though it is very long and roomy( I 'm 5' 9). So far I 'm very pleased with my purchase!

Great combination: Nice quality, very light... haven ’ t used yet, but ready for it!

It is truly incredible how much heat this thing retains for its size.

Great sleeping bag! Lightweight, comfortable, easy to stuff in a sack. I will say it is slightly less roomy at the upper torso and shoulders. It shouldn ’ t stop you from buying it unless you have a large upper torso. You could just unzip it or sideways sleep. All in all if you ’ re not the hulk and you ’ re into quality then do it.

[ Purchased this bag for shoulder season backpacking in Colorado. I used it for the firsttime last weekend. Night time temps got down to around 28F and this bag kept me toasty and feeling warm all through the night. It is incredibly light weight considering the fill and has a nice feel to the material. The only thing I would change is to have the secondary foot zipper extend further into the foot box area. It does n't expel heat fast enough if you run warm.

5 Avrula
[ Soft as butter, toasty warm, light as a feather. This is a go to back for cold backcountry.

[ Warm, lightweight, and compressible, this 15° sleeping bag is ideal for chilly nights. The insulation traps heat effectively, and the zipper does n't snag. Perfect for backpacking or camping when temperatures drop but you still want packability and comfort.

This sleeping bag is not only very warm( outside temp at approx 40F) but is manageable at warmer conditions when not zipped all the way up( outside temps at 60F) I 'm extremely satisfied with the bag

5 Jenny
The Questar is my favorite ever sleeping bag, and I 've slept in a lot of sleeping bags. It's roomy enough to sleep in night after night, but light and packable enough to take on my next fast- and- light endeavors. The level of comfort is unparalleled- think silk pajamas- and the `` '' Toe- asis '' '' foot box( which took me a few nights to discover) is insanely cozy. I felt so warm and secure each night in this bag. Plus, having the knowledge that the down is hydrophobic( and that the outer fabric beads water) is a HUGE feeling of security, letting me sleep out under the stars without the threat of dew.

5 Lance R.
The Questar covers such a wide temperature range that it has come with me on winter- camping ski trips(< 20°F) as well as beach- camping surf trips(> 55°F). On the coldest nights I layer it with a quilt to give it that fourth season warmth, and on the hottest nights I sleep with it unzipped to get some breeze. The soft interior fabric is super comfy for those nights when minimal base- layering is needed. I 'm really excited to test the outer fabric and hydrophobic down with some ocean spray while camping on the coast sans tent/bivy this summer.

5 S.H
This is definitely one of my best purchases. I love the fact that this is hydrophobic down sleeping bag because on the pacific coast where I do most of my camping, I found that down bags soak up too much moisture and loose their heat retention and are heavier to carry.

5 Happy H.
I 'm 6 ft tall and weigh about 250 lbs. This bag has plenty of room in it. I LOVE the straps. They solve the slipperiness problem lots of people complain about with the Uberlight Pad. I 'm a side sleeper that tosses and turns and I did n't have a problem at all with this bag. Keeps me warm down to the mid 20s with no problem. Only had on a pair of light nylon shorts and a knit cap. Love the foot box. You can put socks and long underwear down in there and it keeps it warm and will help it dry out overnight and you do n't have to have your feet directly on them. Great bag. Thinking I 'll order the 32 degree version for summers.

I purchased 2 of the Nanowave 25 ’s and put them to the test in mid 30 degree weather with no additional blankets or sleeping bag liner. Impressed! Is all I will say! We woke up to ice on the perimeter of the tent and was nice and warm only utilizing the sleeping bag and a rolled up sweater as a pillow for 2 nights.

5 HappyCamp
[ This is a great 3 season bag! Light and packable for a synthetic. Very roomy. At six feet tall, 180 pounds, 34 waist, large hips and broad shoulders, I had plenty of room to sleep on my back and side. I had no problem with length even with my air pillow tucked into the hood. The temperature rating on the bag felt good in 30°F weather, keeping me nice and warm, paired with a sleeping pad rated at 4. 1 R value. A nice soft feel and glow in the dark zipper pulls are also good bonuses.

5 TomO
[ Went to Northern New Mexico for summer camp and while days are warm, the nights are not. This bag did the job. When it is really gold, a liner makes it perfect.

5 kagbma
Will be great for camping/hiking in Montana as it is very lightweight and can be compressed to carry in backpack

Bought 2( one left zip and one right zip). They zip together well. Love the foot openings. I ’ m 6 ’ 1 ” and the standard size fits fine. Would probably be too tight if I was wearing boots, helmet, etc. and wanted everything covered/zipped. However, would be perfect if I keep my boots on and leave the bottom unzipped- not that I expect to use it as such- just want to give reference for sizing. Good fabric feel and color- look forward to using for car camping.

5 NJA Nomad
This is the 5th Trestles I 've bought for my family. It's just the right compromise on weight, warmth, and cost for high alpine trips into the Beartooth Mountains. All of them have been used in expedition weight tents, so they have been easily warm enough. This year I bought a Marmot Force ultralight backpacking tent and put my Trestles to the test of its limits. It performed admirably even with the drafty nature of ultralight tents. We had a couple of windy nights down into the 30's, which get a laugh from expedition weight 4- season tents, but I mummy'ed up in my Trestles 15 and was amazed at the comfort, roominess, and functionality!! I would n't still be buying them and on number 5 if it were n't for the great performance.

5 John S
Perfect sleeping bag for those colder late season overnight hikes!

5 Zoe1
GREAT bag. I 've had for nearly two years now and still like new. I 've use it with my ultralight three season tent in- 20 and- 10 truly testing the limits but always feel warm and cozy. My only issue is it does n't pack as small as I 'd like for multiday trips, but purchasing a compression bag helps. Overall, beyond amazing for the price.

5 Marmot Customer
My roommate and I each bought this sleeping bag for a camping trip in the Upper Peninsula in September. Temperatures dropped to the low 30's and we stayed very warm and dry. Very compact, convenient pockets for phones/small belongings, full zippers. We both highly recommend!

5 Johns
Bought this just before a trip out to Washington in the fall. I am 5 ’ 6 ” and 120L and had no issues with being cold in temps around 35- 40°. Also the bag was plenty long for me with still about 2- 3 ” of room to spare( I bought the regular length bag). I did try this bag out when the temp was right around 30° and did get a little chilly( could have probably been fixed if I had a liner to go with the bag). I do wish it could compress just a little more but it does have a nice compression bag that comes with it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cooler weather bag for a good value!!

10/10 just to get that out first. My family of four have bugout bags that have been missing sleeping bags, except for the kids. I 've spent a deal of time looking for the best ones for us and it's been difficult to pull the trigger. Well! I 'm very grateful I ended up with this one! With it being 3 season, pretty much 4 where I 'm from, it covers so much of the year. It's extremely lightweight and can be very compact with a compression bag, which is ideal with a BoB. This is the first time I 've used one with these low- profile magnetic snaps and it worked out better than I thought. I 'm happy that they come with a bright color so it's easy to find when it gets dark out. I used it on 2 separate nights; one night( around 64⁰) I did n't use a ground pad and I still had great sleep in this. I 'm excited to try more Marmot! This feels better than when my wife let's me be the little spoon. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

5 Ob13
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. The Marmot Wraptor 30 Synthetic is hands down my new favorite sleeping bag. I spent a few nights traveling around and sleeping in the back of my truck, and this bag kept me plenty warm through the night. Average temperature was 35- 40°F so nothing too crazy but I did n't need to wear thermals or sweats to bed. I loved the zipper- free, magnetic system for the bag. It made life very easy going to bed and getting up. My favorite feature though is, without a doubt, the zipperless foot vent. My feet get hot really fast as I am trying to go to bed, and this made it super easy to just poke my feet out of the end when I need to, and then pull them back in when I need to warm them up. 10/10 experience with the Marmot Wraptor 30 Synthetic.

5 Mcpetersen23
I gave the Wraptor bag a 5 star rating because it makes for a light weight easily stowable bag great for truck bed or car camping. I especially liked the fact its light weight and stuffs down into a sack real quick. I usually run pretty hot while sleeping so having the added foot vent was a huge game changer to help regulate heat and comfort in the bag. I was a little worried about not having zippers on a bag, but let me tell you I found myself wondering why I ever wanted a zipper on a bag ever. the quick disconnect came in handy for easy one hand opening and closing. over all I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a new bag. Marmot sent me this bag to test for free in exchange for my honest review.

5 Jamesabrown
Perfect layering setup for truck bed camping with plenty of room inside the bag. Converts from mummy style to double layer camp blanket with a single snap and a magnet clip! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

5 iiobocin
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I tested the bag during the spring season in the Pacific Northwest on short overnight trips in both a tent and the back of my car. This bag stands out for comfort and versatility. I tend to run warm and move around a lot in my sleep, and the Wraptor made it easy to adjust throughout the night. The envelope- style foot vent was a favorite feature — I could kick my feet out just like I do at home, which made a big difference in comfort. The flap and button design also let me use it more like a blanket, which felt far less restrictive than a traditional mummy bag. The zipper- less magnetic closure is super easy to use and helps with temperature control, though I did notice that if I didn ’ t secure the top buttons, I lost some warmth on colder nights. Packability is solid for a synthetic bag — it stuffs down easily, but it ’s better suited for car camping or short trips rather than ultralight backpacking. Overall, the Wraptor is a great choice for campers who prioritize comfort, freedom of movement, and temperature control.

[ I love this sleeping bag! I typically go camping more casually, as in not backpacking for multiple days, etc., so keep that in mind when considering my opinion. The sleeping bag is lightweight yet warm. I ’ m glad it unzips on either side and includes various snaps and loops for increased functionality. I am an average height female of slim stature but I chose to purchase this version instead of the women ’s version. I haven ’ t compared sizes or other specs, but figured the unisex version was a safer and more flexible bet. I picked the 30 degree sleeping bag again for flexibility. I ’ ll be able to layer within the sleeping bag if I happen to camp in colder weather. I love the vented storage bag( as pictured). Not all sleeping bag storage bags are vented and that ’s a big positive for me.

5 nicoleb55
[ Just received and OMG! This sleeping bag was thick and warm. It was shipped directly from the company and arrived packaged nicely. Tested it out as soon as it came. Has enough space for two small kids, teen, or a full grown man. 20/10, would recommend

The Women's Long 15 is nearly identical to the unisex 0 degree regular bag if you looked at the sizing, weight and most importantly fill weight which is why it's larger. M's bags are rated to the Lower Limit and Women's to the Comfort limit. Hence they 're a bit like comparing an apple to an orange. Some hearty women may sleep differently but that's how the ratings system is set up.

5 Noodle
Have n't tested this bag is 15 degrees yet but it was so cozy at 30 without having to layer up to sleep. This is my first time purchasing a women's sleeping bag and I am so so happy with the fit! Not really long past my feet so they stay warmer and it's a little roomier in the hips so I did n't get too tangled up. Does n't pack quite as small as other bags I 've seen, but ca n't beat it for the price! Love this bag!

5 zjfang

[ This sleeping bag is the best that I ’ ve ever tried. It is very lightweight but super warm. I like how easy it is to pack it up. It fits nicely in its own carrying bag, but it can be pressed even more to fit it in an even smaller space. There ’s plenty of room inside, but it is not so big that it wouldn ’ t function properly. It is very comfortable and easy to zip into it. Even my dog was obsessed with it when I first unpacked it

After hours of research, I decided on and purchased the Nemo Tempo 20 men ’s regular spoon sleeping bag specifically for our trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks as we car camped for 5 nights. While it was mid- May, night temps can drop into the low 30 ’s. Admittedly, I made my purchase from a third party, as I was skeptical about the quality and warmth factor. I am a 5 ’ 8 ” woman and wanted to be sure I had enough length to be comfortable so I opted for the men ’s Tempo. The fit was great and it was very comfortable. Didn ’ t bind or twist when I repositioned throughout the night. But the most important thing is it kept me very warm. Nighttime temps dipped into mid- 30 ’s. I only wore base layer leggings and top, no socks and my feet stayed toasty warm. In fact, I got so warm that I had to unzip the bag to regulate my body temp. It is well made and performs as advertised. It exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend Nemo Tempo 20!

5 cale
I took this bag with me for a climbing trip down in bishop. The long bag is the perfect length for me( I 'm 6' 1) and provides plenty of width in essential areas like the shoulders and leg area. Temperatures on my trip gradually decreased as my trip went on, starting at 30- degree nights and dropping down to 18- degree nights towards the end of the trip. I would say the comfortability range is around the 27 to 30- degree mark. Once it dropped below 25, I started to get a little colder. If you want to use this bag in sub- 30- degree weather, I would recommend a fleece and a hoodie to make it a more comfortable night. Overall, this is a great bag and it did not disappoint. The tech specs advertised were pretty spot on as far as temperature rating. If you 're looking for a good sleeping bag for an affordable price, this is the one.

I bought this for my daughter ’s school camping trip for the the last week of April so it was still relatively cold at night and early morning hours in the mountains of California. We love the north face brand for our outerwear so I splurged a little on getting our daughter a good quality sleeping bag and this definitely did not disappoint!

[ I flip and move a lot. Flip flip flip with this bag. I ’ m also a super cold person- reynauds serious. This bag kept me warm during a 20- 30 degree night. Love it!

I took this on my first backpacking trip and I loved it. The sleeping bag is spacious, comfortable, and warm without taking up too much space in a pack.

I love this option for side sleepers. It is so nice not to have the zipper in the way. It is warm and cozy.

[ Leveled up from my old synthetic sleeping bag to down and am super happy so far. It ’s so cozy and packs down small. I love that there ’s room for me to turn any which way and curl my legs up in this bag, it is much less constricting than a typical mummy bag. I did find that the bag didn ’ t really move with me the way I expected it to for side sleeping, so I found the hood section kind of in my way at some points. It wasn ’ t too cold so I just kept my head out and used that part as a pillow of sorts. I did also notice a bit of shedding of feathers and hope that will remain minimal over time. So far I ’ ve used it for two nights in about 40deg weather and was very warm.

I bought this bag for summer camping in the Colorado high country. I already have a 0 bag from Big Agnes so I needed something that would n't be so warm. I am a side sleeper and this seemed like the perfect bag. It's comfy, I love the fabric and I like the space for my knees when I sleep on my side. I also really love the hood. My only two criticisms are that the bag is a bit tight so I do n't feel like I can really spread out. My knees hit one side while my bottom hits the other. I also like to sleep with something between my knees and there is n't much room for that. My other issue is that when you turn over you either have to flip the entire bag with you or turn the other way so that your knees do n't fit into the shape of the bag. Flipping the entire bag over would be fine if I had a lot of space but when you have your bag on a ground pad and sleeping next to other people you ca n't really roll side to side. This bag is lightweight and silky though.

This bag is sick. I have always been annoyed with the zippers on my old sleeping bags, they always get caught on the fabric, or end up sneaking their way open throughout the night, AND I like to keep at least one foot uncovered, and zipper bags usually do n't allow that. This thing though, I crawled into it after a day of hiking and I felt like I was getting a warm fluffy hug, and I could poke my feet out when I got too warm!! It feels like sleeping in a backpacking quilt almost, but the fidlocks keep everything in place, and they do n't come undone when you do n't want them to. It also comes with its own compression sack which is a huge plus. Super warm, very breathable/adjustable, packs down crazy small and weighs nothing! 10/10

5 Tamgin
I used the Marmot Wraptor 30 Down sleeping bag on a Grand Canyon trip, and it exceeded my expectations. The material feels soft, the down is plush, and overall the bag is incredibly comfortable. It comes with both a storage bag and a stuff sack, but I skipped the stuff sack and packed it loosely in the bottom of my backpack. It compressed and filled the empty space perfectly. This bag has the cozy feel of a quilt with the shape and function of a mummy bag. It was effortless to open, easy to stick a leg out of, and comfortable to roll around in. The Fidlock magnet impressed me, and even though it has been a while since I used a mummy style hood, I appreciated having my pillow tucked inside and staying put. As for the temperature rating, I never worried about getting cold. Regulating warmth was simple by opening the bag slightly. The lack of loud zippers also kept things peaceful for anyone sleeping nearby. I would absolutely recommend this bag to anyone who isn ’ t fully committed to a quilt yet or who wants a simpler, more versatile sleeping bag. Well done, Marmot. You really nailed it. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

I recently had the chance to test the Marmot Wraptor 30° Down Sleeping Bag( green, 30° variant) on a backpacking trip just outside of Boone, and it turned out to be a really solid performer for spring conditions. Conditions& Setup The timing of this trip was ideal for a real test. Overnight temps dropped into the low- to- mid 40s, with some early morning lows flirting with the upper 30s depending on elevation. That ’s right in the bag ’s range, but close enough to its limit to really see how it performs. Warmth& Performance The Wraptor is rated to 30°F, and in real- world use, that felt pretty accurate. I stayed comfortably warm through the night wearing just a base layer, even as temps dipped into the low 40s. It never felt overly hot, but also never had me reaching for extra layers which is exactly what you want in a 3- season bag. The 650- fill down did a great job retaining heat without feeling bulky. It lofted quickly after unpacking and maintained consistent warmth throughout the night, even with some damp early morning air. Honestly, it performed so well it felt like this thing was built to prey on cold nights — couldn ’ t help but think the “ Wraptor ” name was pretty fitting. Design& Comfort( Big Differentiator) The standout feature is the zipper- free design. Instead of a traditional zipper, it uses overlapping flaps with magnetic closures. I was skeptical going in, but this ended up being one of my favorite parts of the bag. • It feels more like sleeping under a blanket than being zipped into a mummy bag • Easy to vent heat without fully opening everything up • No zipper snags or awkward middle- of- the- night adjustments As someone who moves around in their sleep, this made a noticeable difference. I didn ’ t feel restricted, and it was easy to reposition without fighting the bag. Temperature Regulation This is where the Wraptor really stands out. Between the flap system and the ability to vent from the footbox, it ’s easy to dial in comfort. When temps stayed in the mid- 40s, I could open it slightly and stay perfectly comfortable. If it dropped closer to freezing, I ’ d likely fully close it and maybe add a layer, but for spring conditions, it ’s dialed in. Packability& Weight For a down bag, it packs down well into a compression sack and fits easily into a backpacking setup. It strikes a solid balance between weight and comfort — not ultralight, but definitely manageable for multi- day trips. Downsides • The flap system takes a night to get used to if you ’ re coming from a traditional mummy bag • For temps near or below freezing, you ’ ll probably want extra layers or a liner • The magnetic closures worked well, but long- term durability is something to watch Overall Verdict The Marmot Wraptor 30° down bag is a great option for spring through early fall backpacking, especially in the mountains around Boone where temps can vary quite a bit. It delivers reliable warmth, strong comfort, and a unique design that genuinely improves sleep quality outdoors. If you ’ re someone who doesn ’ t love the restrictive feel of traditional sleeping bags but still wants dependable performance, this is absolutely worth considering.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I tested the Marmot Wraptor sleeping bag over a couple of nights car camping as well as a quick overnight backpacking trip to higher elevation. Overnight temperatures were consistently in the upper 30s, which gave me a good opportunity to evaluate how the bag performs in typical early- season conditions. In terms of warmth, the Wraptor exceeded my expectations. Even in temps in the high 30s, I stayed consistently warm throughout the night without needing to over- layer. I typically use a 15 – 20 degree bag because I prefer to sleep with fewer layers, especially at higher elevations, so I was impressed with how well this 30- degree bag held its own. It retains heat effectively while still allowing for ventilation when needed, which helped regulate temperature as conditions changed overnight. Comfort and fit are standout features. The bag offers noticeably more room than a traditional mummy bag, which made a big difference for me as a side sleeper. I was able to move freely and shift positions throughout the night without feeling restricted. The design hits a nice middle ground between a traditional sleeping bag and a quilt — I ’ ve gone back and forth between both over the past couple of years, and this offers the structure and warmth of a bag with the flexibility and openness of a quilt. One of the most unique aspects of the Wraptor is the zipper- less magnetic closure system. The magnetic snaps make it very easy to get in and out of the bag, especially in the dark, and the slide- in design keeps them securely in place during the night. Unlike some quilt systems I ’ ve used, I didn ’ t have issues with gaps or the closure coming undone unintentionally. The design also makes it easy to adjust ventilation without fully opening the bag, which is a big plus for temperature regulation. I was initially unsure about the pass- through foot opening, but it ended up being one of my favorite features. The layered construction prevents drafts when fully closed, so there ’s no noticeable heat loss, but it also allows you to step out and move around camp without taking the bag off. It ’s a really functional feature for hanging around camp or handling quick tasks while staying warm. From a packability standpoint, the Wraptor compresses well enough for backpacking and is comparable in weight to other bags I own, even some with warmer ratings — though at that point it comes down to small differences in ounces. It strikes a solid balance between warmth and packability for early- season trips. Overall overnight performance was excellent. The bag maintained warmth, allowed for easy movement, and adapted well to different sleeping positions and conditions. I didn ’ t experience any cold spots or discomfort, and the ability to vent or adjust the bag without fully opening it made a noticeable difference. Compared to other sleeping bags I ’ ve used, the Wraptor stands out for its versatility and comfort. It solves some of the common issues I ’ ve had with both traditional mummy bags( too restrictive) and quilts( less secure closure and potential drafts). The Wraptor is a unique and thoughtfully designed sleep system that works especially well for campers and backpackers who value comfort, flexibility, and ease of use. It ’s a great option for early- season backpacking or mixed- use trips where you want something adaptable for both sleeping and hanging around camp. If you tend to sleep cold, you may still prefer a lower temperature rating, but for most moderate conditions, this bag performs very well.

I used the wraptor sleeping bag on two trips totalling 6 nights of use so far( and many more to comes). The first thing I noticed after receiving my package was how light the bag was and the unique stuff sack that came with it. I get easily frustrated when it comes to packing my other branded sleeping bag into it stuffsack so when my boyfriend and I are getting ready for any trip he always takes charge of that task for me. This time around, when we were packing,, but I heard him run down the hall saying “ woahhhhh check this out, this is awesome! ” He came into the room with my sleeping bag stuffed in a pack about half the size of my sleeping bag I usually use. He was so ecstatic about how easy the sack was and has mentioned multiple times wanting to get a stuff sack like this for his bag. I am a sidesleeper( who moves around a lot while I sleep) so most sleeping bags feel extremely restrictive to me. This bag was very spacious and I was able to move around and find a comfortable position to fall asleep in. Due to the fact I move around so much in my sleep, I think I shifted in a position where I created a vent so I was a little bit chiller in this sleeping bag than I was expecting to be. Keep in mind it was the end of March/early April when I went on these two camping trips. So if you run a bit cold I might recommend the 15 temperature rating. Nonetheless, as the weather is warming up here in Washington, this bag will be a staple in my camping trips since it packs up so small and is the most comfortable sleeping bag i ’ ve used. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

It is difficult to find a light weight kids sleeping bag without blowing the budget on a full down bag. The Youth Wasatch finds the middle ground for a quality synthetic bag close to 4 pounds. NF uses quality fabric with DWR, and good zipper, and does have roomy cut. I rated 4 stars because of a few items: For a 20 degree rating I was expecting a little more loft and a draft collar at the neck. Youth bag does not zip past the footbox to lay flat as claimed and storage bag is nor compression sack.

Writing this review from inside the bag. I have used this bag for several types of adventure in a handful of different situations, including colder alpine mornings, casual camping nights, and even just lounging at home. To start with the features: • no zipper: I go into this a lot in the other parts, but the closure is a huge highlight of this bag. It almost feels like a quilt for comfort, but keeps you enclosed more. It vents well, and you can have it set up however you want in terms of how open or closed you want it. I never realized how limiting zippers were until using this, especially when trying to fine- tune temperature in the middle of the night. • Flaps on top: with the magnetic closure, they designed this bag with a top that layers over. You pull the left, then the right to close it. Honestly, this was super helpful for getting out because I could use it like how I wear jackets on cold trips and mountaineering ascents. I could have it fully open when warm, pull one side over to block wind and build some heat, I could pull both sides towards the middle to create a little air vent, or I could pull both sides over and really build the heat. Honestly I loved this feature. Way better than a zipper because instead of just being up or down or partial, I could vent random parts because it wasn ’ t closed tightly unless I buttoned up. It felt way more natural to adjust throughout the night without fully waking up. • foot slide out: sleeping bags with zippers, even double sided so you can zip from top or bottom, do not vent well. You almost have had to have a quilt for good venting. With this bag, it takes 2 seconds to get my feet out of the bag without having to use my hands or disrupt the heat of the rest of my body. Then if I want it out more, I can just slip my legs up and out of the full enclosure. This also gives me more space for my feet because I can keep one down in the slot and have one out the front. It ’s way comfy and I don ’ t have a scratchy zipper rubbing on my legs. One thing I worry about is the stitch seams where you slide your legs out, and also where the top layer comes to the bottom. They seem like they could rip over time, but no problems with it yet. So far it has held up well through repeated use. • waist height button: I found myself using the bag without this button as it made the bag a little wider and overall more comfy. I did appreciate having it though because in colder weather, it kept things together more and made it feel warmer. Maybe placebo, but I appreciated having it, and being able to use it if I wanted. It ’s one of those small features that you don ’ t always need, but are glad is there when conditions change. Moving on to the bag generally as compared to other bags: • I used this bag quite a few times for quite a few activities. From napping in it at home, to cold ascents outside, and longer trips. One specific trip I took this on was summiting a mountain in the Wasatch Range. The temperatures were below 0° at night and we slept on several feet of snow. The bag did its job well and kept me warm through the whole night. One thing that was really nice about this bag compared to literally any other bag was that because there is no zipper and the design is similar to a quilt, it makes it so easy to adjust and move around. It seems so big inside and I can roll around like in a lot regular bed without it getting all twisted. Then when I got cold at night, I could take my feet out of the bag without unzipping at all. • Whether sleeping on my back or side, it was super comfy and nice that I could move around so much. I haven ’ t found a reason to really dislike the bag. The exceptional venting makes it so you can legit sleep in this thing in any temperature down to its lowest rating without feeling trapped or overheating, which is something I ’ ve struggled with in most traditional bags. • Packing it down was crazy easy with the compression sack it came with. When I woke up in the morning, I lightly stuffed it into the sack, then compressed it down and it was super easy, and got so small. For how lofty it is when in use, it gets tiny when in the compression sack. This bag is honestly great for taking out on alpine trips, backpacking in cold weather, or even car camping when the temperature dips. Comfiest I have ever been in a sleeping bag, fell asleep in seconds after getting in.

I 've taken the wraptor 15 out on a couple excursions in different environments and my biggest takeaway has been how comfy it has been, to not just it's space but how you are able to control the temperature comfort with being able to move the flaps if needed! The no zipper configuration was great my only complaint was at night when it was dark the inside snap was somewhat hard to find, an I idea that could help solve this is maybe having a larger different fabric to feel might make finding the snap easier. The warmth and loft was great and did n't get cold even when I took it camping out in the snow. Overall I would definitely recommend this product if you do n't mind giving up a couple ounces of weight while backpacking for extreme comfort and flexibility that you know you 'll get a good nights sleep in, and a great car camping backpack that packs up pretty small!

I am extremely impressed with how lightweight and breathable this bag is but at the same time keeping me nice and warm. I would 100% recommend this to anyone.

This bag has been incredible! I love the way it wraps and the ease of opening it and closing it with the magnetic clasp. I have the Wraptor 15 down bag. I 've used this bag on multiple trips and it's performed amazingly! I tend to sleep warm so having the ability to adjust easity without fiddling with a zipper is amazing. You can even poke your feet out the bottom and cool down, or even shuffle to use the bathroom... It's rad! I received the wraptor for free in exchange for my honest review and honestly it amazing. I have raved about this bag to all my family and friends. I 've had Marmot bags in the past but this is the best one i 've used by far!

5 luke_m
Just took this sleeping bag on a backpacking trip in Indiana. It got to around 30 degrees since we were in a bit of a cold snap, but the sleeping bag kept me warm! Something I came to really like about this sleeping bag is that it does n't have a zipper for the closure. It has a magnet and two snaps that take the zipper's place. Another thing that makes this sleeping bag stand out is the number of configurations you can make with it since it has no zipper. Typically with all regular sleeping bags, if you 're cold you zip it up more and if you 're hot you unzip it a little. With the Wraptor there are so many more options and it really kept me comfortable the entire night through. As the temperature fell, I could easily adjust the configuration to get back to sleeping. The Wraptor surpassed every expectation I had with its comfort, spacious fit, and warmth. I 'm a side sleeper and this bag works perfectly for me. It's not the most packable since it only has 650fp down( I would love to see an 800 or 850 option), so this might not be the best option for the AT or other thru hikes where space and weight is a big consideration. I mainly use the REI Magma 15 as my down sleeping bag, but I will be using the Wraptor for all my shorter( less than 1 week) backpacking trips and car camping just because of how comfortable it is. For the everyday camper or someone looking for an affordable and extremely comfortable sleeping bag, this bag really takes the cake. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Filled with RDS- certified 850+ fillpower goose down treated with a non- PFC Ultra- Dry Down treatment, the Spark is constructed with a technical hood Extremely nice sleeping bag will definitely keep me warm during the cold winter months while outdoors.

[ This sleeping bag is amazing! It is extremely warm and will keep you toasty on those cold nights outdoors. It fit me perfect with some extra room with a height of 5ft. It is on the larger side and they give a small bag to pack it in which is very difficult to get it in. They also include testing results on the down goose and duck feathers they use to insulate it. Definitely worth the buy!

[ This sleeping bag is the real deal! Let me tell you, I ’ ve put it through the wringer on a bunch of camping trips, and it's come out on top every single time. The durability of this thing is seriously impressive. I ’ ve treated it pretty rough, tossing it around, stuffing it into tight spots, and it still looks and performs like it ’s fresh out of the box. And let's talk about comfort. Oh boy, this bag is next- level cozy. I ’ m talking about sinking into a plush cloud kind of comfort. It ’s like a warm hug after a long day of hiking. I ’ m usually tossing and turning when I ’ m camping, but not with this bad boy. I slept like a log, no kidding. It fit me wonderfully! Now, let ’s get into packability. This is where this bag really shines. I ’ m all about saving space, especially when I ’ m packing for a camping trip. And let me tell you, this bag packs down like a dream. It squishes down nice and small, taking up hardly any room in my pack. It ’s a game- changer for sure. And the insulation? It ’s top- notch. I ’ ve used this bag in all kinds of weather conditions, from chilly nights to downright freezing ones, and it ’s never let me down. I ’ m talking about staying warm and cozy even when the temperature drops below freezing. No need for extra layers or anything like that. Overall, if you ’ re in the market for a sleeping bag that ticks all the boxes, this one ’s a winner. It ’s durable as heck, ridiculously comfortable, packs up like a champ, and keeps you warm when it matters most. Trust me, you won ’ t regret it

5 zarachristine
[ This sleeping bag is amazing! It ’s so soft and lightweight so very easy to hike/backpack/camp with. Despite being so lightweight the dense down feather inside of it allows for a lot of warmth! I love how it hugs my body perfectly keeping me nice and insulated.

5 deborahc70
[ This sleeping bag is incredibly light! It shrinks down so much. It easily fits in my backpack. It is so warm and comfortable. I love that I still have room to comfortably sleep.

5 shawnam87
[ I was sent this product in return for giving my honest opinion about it. The Sea to Summit Spark sleeping bag is a lightweight and compact sleeping bag that would be perfect for backpacking because it is so light. It has down insulation for warmth. I like that it has a hood it makes me feel covered really well. When I tried it out it wasn ’ t very cold but after a few minutes I was sweating so I could see how this would be great in very cold conditions.

Was looking for a quality no frills synthetic backpacking bag and thats what I got. Light and packs very small( without the need for compression) for a synthetic bag. Tested it in the low 40s and have no doubt it will go to freezing comfortably. Ordered the 20 degree version for my wife and it's the same great quality and accurately rated as temperature goes, but you will probably need to compress the women's version to consider it packable. I bought this sleeping bag for warmer weather where my 10 degree bag would be too uncomfortable. I figured to test the bag to its rating to get an idea of its performance. Weather said low for the night would be 45, so perfect time to test. I used this in a Kelty Tanglewood 2, with an Extremus( R- value 3. 0) sleeping pad and a very thin ozark trail sleeping bag liner. Had lightweight nylon pants and a lightweight sweatshirt on. The temperature got down to 37 and I was not cold, not super warm but with the shoulder draw string tightened up I was comfortable. I would n't take it much colder than that. I sleep a little on the warm side so that may have helped, but to me the sleeping bag lives up to the rating.

This sleeping bag is so light weight and comfortable! It comes with a travel bag that is easy to store the sleeping bag to travel with. I am 5 '' 5 and weigh 220lbs and I fit perfectly with some room. Extremely comfortable and cozy. I love that it allows you to zip with another sleeping bag making it perfect for my husband and I. There are vents you can open if it gets too hot. Zippers and material feel very durable. I love the quality craftsmanship that went into making this product. I 'm 6ft 250lbs with very broad shoulders. I decided to go with the long since the shoulder circumference was 3 '' bigger than the regular; if my shoulders were n't so broad I 'd have gotten the regular.. Even though I 've got a bit of extra room in the toe box my feet were n't too cold when I had it in 31F/- 1C weather. That said, it was still a little bit tight in the shoulders. The neck collar was fantastic, but the zipper baffle did have a few gaps around my shoulders that let some cool air in around my shoulders. I added the blaze bag liner and that helped a lot. The zipper did snag a couple times but was easy to unsnag. I also found the hood to be a little oversized and difficult to cinch down, but I think that's more of a user error issue I 'll work out with time. The straps on my compression sack popped off at the stitches, but customer services was great with replacing it- prompt response with zero hastle. I 'd definitely recommend this for broader folks and side sleepers. The only thing stopping it from being an excellent bag is the zipper snagging which happens a little too often to be dismissed. Otherwise, I love it.

I have n't camped in that cold of weather yet, but I 'm glad I have it when that day comes.

I had the poor luck to plan a camping trip on a freezing weekend in the fall and this sleeping bag kept me nice and toasty. I actually gave it up for my wife to sleep in it the second night. The zipper is smooth and doesnt snag and its easy to roll up and put away. I highly recommend.

Greatest thing about getting something new when you have kids, are all their questions that follow! The shape really allows for you to move and get comfy. Built in pillow pocket “ is so cool! ” Said my 6 year old son. The air vents work and aren ’ t a gimmick. My 8 year old Daughter said, “ Daddy, they gave you 2 bags! One to keep it in at home and when you go hiking! ” This bag is quality and can pack small! My kids have already asked for their own for when their Birthdays come. Pillow pocket, air vents, weight, warmth, shape, exterior foot box is durable, plus a home storage bag and compression sack…. This bag is loaded!

5 Chicken Man
Ive had this bag for about 6 years. Taken it on backpacking trips, and lots of car camping in all weather. One place it shines is its versatility. The heat vents make summer camping tolerable and with some layers I 've slept in sub zero temps many nights. For someone who is constantly rotating throughout the night like a rottisary chicken like me this bag is comfortable and roomy. This is a top notch all around bag, but when you are trying to do everything there are downsides. There are to times I felt like this was not the best bag. Once when backpacking in a absolute downpour for multiple days. Bag was soaked and I spent two nights shivering in the puddle at the bottom of my tent. Besides all the other mistakes i made on that trip a synthetic bag would have been better. The second downfall of this bag I found bike packing where space is a large concern. A quilt is a much better solution for space constraints. Overall I am super happy with this bag and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid all around bag.

Frequently Asked Questions For Comfy Sleeping Bags

When searching for a comfy sleeping bag, consider features such as insulation type, temperature rating, and shape. Insulation can be either synthetic or down, impacting warmth and weight. Additionally, a sleeping bag's shape—rectangular or mummy—can affect comfort and space, so choose one that fits your sleeping style.

Comfy sleeping bags are typically made from materials like nylon or polyester for the outer shell, which provide durability and water resistance. The insulation inside can be down, known for its warmth-to-weight ratio, or synthetic fibers that offer moisture resistance and easy maintenance. Understanding these materials can help you select a bag that meets your comfort needs.

Choosing the right size sleeping bag is essential for comfort. Look for a bag that allows enough room to move without being too loose, as excess space can lead to heat loss. Additionally, consider your height and whether you prefer a snug fit or more room to stretch out.

Yes, there are different styles of comfy sleeping bags designed for various activities. For instance, some are tailored for backpacking, offering lightweight and compact designs, while others are made for car camping, providing more space and comfort. Understanding the intended use can help you select the best style for your adventures.

The temperature rating of a comfy sleeping bag is crucial for ensuring warmth during your outings. Ratings indicate the lowest temperature at which the bag will keep you comfortable. Consider the climate and season of your trips to choose a bag with an appropriate rating that matches your expected conditions.
