Off the irons this ball is a club longer than Pro V1. I believe I can adjust to that. Driver distance is the same. Ball checks up nicely when chipping. My driver speed is 98- 99 so I thought the regular tour would be the ball for me but after putting with the tour I found it to soft off the putter. Tour X is much better for me.

I switched from the ProV1X to the Chrome Tour this winter and spring. Definitely noticed there is less spin on my drives, allowing for more consistency and distance. Even better when playing in windy conditions. The Chrome Tours still provides plenty of spin coming onto the greens. I like the fact that when playing from tight lies, the Tours back up generally 5ft to 10ft vs 10ft to 20ft with the ProV1X. The Tours fit my game best!

I was playing the 2023 model and was quite happy with it. I am liking the new 2025 model very much but there are a couple differences. First, the ball feels noticeably softer off the putter. Second, I am seeing more spin on approach shots. If you like a softer feel on and around the greens and some extra grab on approaches you 'll really like this ball. If not, then I 'd say take advantage of the lower price and purchase the 2023 model.

I 've been using the Supersoft Matte finish golf balls off and on for the past couple years. Here are the conditions I find these balls work best in from my experience. I 'm a high handicap golfer( 28) and live in Southern California where I can golf all year long. This ball works great for me in warm/hot and dry conditions at 60 degrees and higher. In fact, the hotter the better. The ball carries best for me under these conditions and travels more accurately when putting on the green. However, in cooler and damp conditions the ball se ms to die on drives and on the green. Overall experience: Under the right conditions, this golf ball performed best for me. My drives are straight and longer with this ball. The matte cover has a great feel, particularly on the green. Pitching and chipping is more accurate and the ball seems to stick on the green better than other balls and not run off like other balls tend to do for me. I like the color( green) which helps it stand out better than other girls lf balls that land in the taller grass. The price is right for me. I live in he way the ball feels while putting it in the green. The ball seems to launch off the club face. I would recommend this golf ball for anyone who's looking for a golf ball that has a soft feel and would like a little more distance on drives and more accuracy putting on the green.

Chrome Tour performs extremely well for all aspects of my game. Its long off the tee and long irons, with plenty of spin greenside to be able to play more aggressively. All this while maintaining a relatively soft feel( not as soft as Chrome Soft, but still soft). Just played my 2nd full round with these balls after having played the standard Tour since 2021. The feel is very similar to the Tour, though it definitely feels softer off the putter. For me it performed amazingly. I have had trouble controlling shots into the wind in the past and switching to the Tour S definitely helped me keep the ball lower and not balloon so much. I love the Alignment as well, its very similar to the Callaway Triple Track, but I do like the black lines. Another plus about the Maxfli balls is they are easy to find, both in the stores and on the course. Awesome ball for an older 12 hcpr with a 92mph swing. I directly compared with the premium balls and the Max met or exceeded them all and was simply much easier to hit. I picked up a sleeve of these to try along with a dozen of the Chrome Soft X. Im 53 and my swing speed has come down from 111 to 100 with the driver. I was expecting the CS X to be a better fit for me because of the lower clubhead speed, thinking I would need the extra spin and higher flight. However, the LS version blew me away. Unbelievable driver distance and extremely straight ball flight. I typically hit a draw that has recently turned into more hooks off the tee at times. I ’ m getting my timing back with the change in clubhead speed and this ball has helped with that because I know when I hit it it ’s going straight where I aim. Confidence inspiring, and it checks up much better than the CS X. Feel is solid off the putter and distance control is much better. I believe Callaway built this ball specifically for higher spin players like myself who don ’ t like to work the ball much and need extra distance off the tee. It ’s sad it ’s discontinued. I have several dozen to get me through this season and possibly next season tho. I get technology changing and ball development evolving but I truly believe Callaway should make this ball a staple in their lineup. Highly recommend you try this ball if you struggle with too much spin, especially with the driver.
