It took a few weeks before I could take this beauty out on its maiden voyage, but once I did it did not disappoint. I launched it from a local dock on a nearby lake and took my two kids out on what was a choppy windy day on the lake. The stability and handling of the kayak was superb considering I had my two most precious cargo on the deck of the kayak. The lake was extraordinarily choppy with 3' waves, but the kayak was stable and I was able to navigate using some previous skill. It remained a safe and fun voyage although short lived due to the roughness of the lake. The kayak did not disappoint and was beautiful to en- devour. Make sure you know where you plan to store it and how to maneuver it to where you want to store it. At just over 12' long, it is sizable.

This kayak is well- loved — I 've owned it for just about 8 years now — and it just a fun little kayak. Tracking straight takes some time to master, it will seem impossible at first, and even then, it is never great, but it is incredibly stable, you can stand up in it and fish, and easy to transport. It's built like a tank.

My husband and I bought two of these kayaks for our grandsons for Christmas and they were, by far, the highlight of the day! The boys were so excited that they put them in their pool to try out immediately. An added bonus is that they came with paddles just the right length for kids. We had been looking since October for just the right size( our grandsons are 8& 6) and when we called the Gainesville store the personnel there couldn ’ t have been more accommodating. Bought this as a second kayak to our 13. 5 rambler. We are a family of 4 and kids are getting bigger. One of us uses this while the other three go in the big kayak. It is smooth and easy for kids to use. We bought this about 3 years ago and it ’s still going strong. Bought this and a Pacer for my boys' birthdays. Tried them out for the first time today. Good times! The Kokanee is quite stable. It's a little heavy and bulky on land, but handled easily enough by two people. Handles well in the water. I purchased padded seat bottoms, as I was told a long trip would be uncomfortable without them. Only complaint I can possible come up with is it was missing a couple small parts.

I have not used the kayak yet. I bought it early and have been waiting for it to warm up. I am hoping to use it in May. So far it is exactly what I had expected after looking at it online. Like I said, I have n't used it yet but I am kind of wishing there was an upgraded seat available, but I knew that when I bought it.

We have owned this kayak for almost 8 years. Aside from the seat back and clips that attach it eventually breaking, we have had zero problems. I contacted customer service and they had a shipment( at no cost to us) in the mail within 24 hours with replacement parts. Myself and multiple of my children use this kayak for summer fun and fishing. I love using it with my toddlers because it is SO stable, you almost can not turn it over even if you wanted to. Excellent for a family style kayak adventure on the lake, or those who prefer more stability. We have even taken this one to the ocean twice and used for fishing, it withstands the waves and proved very useful for dropping bait. Only downside that comes with the stability, of course, is it is quite heavy to move. Luckily, ours does not go far.

I had to order a new seat back for my Lancer 100 kayak. This was due solely to my mistake and not a production issue. Ian in customer service gave me exemplary help. He not only sent me the seat back, but also the strap, bungie and connections that he knew I would need. The service I received blew me out of the water( so to speak). I now know the reason behind the company's name as I will be a lifetime customer of Lifetime. Ian rocks!
