Started with these lures because I wanted to make sure my grand daughter caught something( specifically bluegill) and they worked with great success. We caught bluegill, crappie, small& largemouth bass. I have now tried them at 6 different lakes with great success. Bass are generally a bit smaller 6- 10 ''; however, I did land a couple 2- 3 pound fish and a nice 7. 5lb' r.

There are a wide variety of colors, but the jig heads are plain lead. i would give this a 5 star if they were colored heads, and had either bobber stops or swivels for the sliding bobbers
