The Approach G80 is an amazing device. Excellent accuracy on the course, scorecard is easy to input, and the radar is phenomenal for under$ 500. It ’s easier to use than my phone( and uses less battery- 14% usage on my last round, so maybe 6- 7 rounds before recharging) and the radar along with digital rounds makes the driving range very satisfying. While you can also measure your shots, the device does not store them. It also measures just distance and doesn ’ t ask for club used therefore this system doesn ’ t offer recommended club selection. This is a shame but if you use all of the other parts of it appropriately you ’ ll soon know exactly what club you need to hit. Overall, very satisfied with this product.

I bought this after several reviews about this product. I am not disappointed, if you are looking for a way to track your shots( launch, ball speed)..., on the practice range, then this is what you should buy.

We purchased this so we could practice during the stay at home orders. The shot monitor is great for the price. The yardages are close to what you would expect and it was so much fun to play virtual rounds.

Best investment ever. I use it for practice in my garage with a hitting net at the range then a GPS at the course. Play any course virtual is the best feature!

I have had the Garmin G82 for a couple of weeks and it has been great. From locating the course I am playing to using the launch monitor features it has been very easy to use. I like how the screen stays on as you use it as a launch monitor and how you can use the included back with a golf ball to set it up properly.

Great product. I have used it for bag mapping a couple of times and found it so helpful with clubs and specific yardages. I have found the putting information extremely helpful as well. Played a round with the course GPS and found that to be very helpful. I love how portable the device is.

Bought this a few weeks ago and have only used it at the driving range. I really wanted to know my swing speed as I practiced as well as other data that could show if I was being consistent with my swings. The unit works as advertised! Swing speed, ball speed, distances( carry and total) are all calculated for each swing. Each of my clubs is currently tracked using the CT- 10 sensors. The data transfers immediately to the Garmin golf app for review after the session. The only issue I 've had is the occasional freezing of the unit when switching clubs which happens once or twice during a driving range session. It pauses for a bit, then gets back to the session. I 've never lost the data though, which is good. If I could change one thing it would be the bulkiness of the product. It's big but rugged- I doubt it would break if it feel out of your bag or cart. Would buy again.

This is a good golf gps for the price. It has front, middle, and back yardages. I ’ ve only used once so I didn ’ t use the hazard yardages or score keeper yet. I wish it had course layout but it would probably be hundreds more.

A digital scorecard is an electronic tool that allows golfers to track their scores and statistics during a round of golf. It often includes features such as GPS distance measurements, shot tracking, and performance analysis. This technology enhances the golfing experience by providing real-time data and insights, making it easier to manage your game.
Using a digital scorecard can significantly improve your golf game by providing accurate distance measurements and detailed statistics about your performance. With features like shot tracking and scoring, you can analyze your strengths and weaknesses, allowing for targeted practice and improvement. Additionally, having instant feedback helps you make better decisions on the course.
Most digital scorecards are designed to work with a wide range of golf courses, as they often come preloaded with course maps and layouts. However, it's important to check if the specific scorecard you are using includes the course you plan to play. Many devices also allow users to download additional courses, ensuring compatibility.
When selecting a digital scorecard, consider features such as GPS functionality for accurate distance measurements, shot tracking capabilities, and the ability to analyze your performance over time. Additional features like course maps, weather updates, and battery life are also important to enhance your overall experience on the course.
Yes, many digital scorecards are suitable for use in tournaments, provided they meet the specific rules and regulations set by the governing bodies of the event. It's essential to check if the tournament allows electronic devices for scoring, as some may have restrictions. Digital scorecards can help ensure accurate scoring and enhance the overall tournament experience.
