The the OZ1 and OZ1i came out tried them both several times at several different locations. The OZ1 has great feel and you can gauge how you need to hit it for the distance. Inside 6 feet it's 100%. Purchased and installed the Flat large grip on my Cleveland FL Elevado, as I ’ d noticed some shakiness on the takeaway with the stock grip( which, I did like that grip a lot). The reverse taper helped with stability and… my first round with it, had six 1 putts( four of which were from 12- 15 feet) and nine 2 putts( the rest were 3 putts and it happens). When shopping for putters in the spring, I was looking at the DF3 but felt that I could not justify the price. I ended up purchasing a different putter( we will call this `` putter A '') but never quite performed on the course as well as it did in the store. Seems that I was hitting good shots but losing out on the green play, often 3 putting 5 or more greens inside of 20 ft. After a few disappointing rounds with `` putter A '', I ended up going back to my original putter but still saw many 3 putts each round. Many rounds later, I got to thinking `` what if I would have purchased the DF3 instead ''? Since Fathers day was upcoming and the wife was asking me what I wanted, I finally gave in and paid the top dollar for the DF3 and stuck it in my bag for my round the next day. So I 'm on the putting green before my round, kinda nervous. Not sure how long it will take me to get used to the odd shape of the putter, the forward press, and the center shaft which puts the face farther ahead than normal. But the putter does feel real balanced and is weighted such so the face feels straight thru the putting stroke. So the round starts, I have a curvy 20ft uphill put on the 1st and I almost drop it. However, I 'm not 5 feet past like I have been with my old putter. So for the remaining 17 holes, I drop a few long putts and escaped without a single 3 putt green( and I had some long difficult putts that never crept more than 1 ft past the hole). This putter probably saved me 5 strokes in my first round. Just wait till I get used to it some more. Should you buy this putter? Only if you want to knock a few strokes off your game. Think about it, if you spend$ 500 on a driver, why would n't you pull the trigger on a top of the line putter that you use on every hole( unlike a driver)?

I was looking for a replacement for a putting mat I had for a couple years. My old one had a battery operated ball return that stopped working. No batteries needed for this mat and the ball return works great, all by gravity. My new putting mat from Perfect Practice has already helped me improve my putting. Two parallel solid lines help me keep the putter square to the target and there is a nice dashed line to follow straight into the hole. I especially like using the solid parallel lines on my follow through. It seems that my putting stroke was breaking down after I hit the putt by not staying on line. The lines help a lot. Also, the hole itself is slightly smaller than a regulation cup size, to help improve aim. The edges of the mat have a good looking raised edge that keeps the ball from rolling off the mat. This version was the smallest and it easily rolls up and fits into a nice bag, when not being used. I have n't put mine away since I bought it, but it is a nice feature. The larger models with nice wood features look great, but are too large for the space I have.

He saw me miss a few putts, handed me a different putter, and simply said, “ Try this one '' and then mysteriously vanished. The putter felt good. It felt right.
