Really pleased with this mat. Lies flat, ball rolls well, the little plastic U cup has velcro and stays in place even with a firm putt. Perfect for practicing 3 and 6 putts and working on aim/direction. I like that it does n't have all sorts of markings on it like the Putt Out matt does.... just put a few balls down and putt.... just like on the real green.

Texture of the mat is excellent so the speed and roll direction od the ball provides great practice. Attached hole simulator is less than adequate so I use a seperate hole simulator in front of the one that comes attached to the mat

This mat met my expectations. And since you just need the feedback from a straight putt, this mat fit the bill. For those people whose mat had a slight fold bump in their mat; just lay a fairly heavy item on that area and it should relax and lay flat. It also helps to put on hard surface and not carpeting. Although I moved my mat to another part of my den and it still rolled smooth. Worth the value.

No 3 Putts
I searched various retailers and websites for an affordable putting practice surface. I decided on this one; then searched other sites such as Amazon for more reviews. The overwhelming reviews that I found were very positive. I purchased this mat this morning. The set up was simple, no wrinkles, lays flat and the ball rolls true. As other reviews state- the Slow Direction is way too slow. The Fast Direction is fairly realistic to most of the greens that I play. I am very satisfied with the purchase. I 've been sinking almost every putt today from 3 to 6 feet out. I hope that I putt this well tomorrow one the course!:)
