The newly restored version of the great Wilson 8802 is just as outstanding and even better than its namesake original. It is perfectly balanced, has just the right amount of loft, has a milled face for a more precision roll, has outstanding feel and most importantly is designed for releasing the club head, allowing for a true topspin roll that starts on line and stays online all the way to the hole. The stock narrow grip also promotes the low hand release, that combined with the narrow mass on the putter head promotes putts to come at the hole on the high side, and not the dreaded low side. So many of the big grip, big head putters promote a pop stroke that can lead to cutting the ball with a less than true roll, especially on short and left to right putts, but the 8802 brings back images of Crenshaw and Faxon really letting the putter head release, and clearly so much of that had to do with the design concepts of the putter that these great players understood, and helped make them great Champions too.

Love how the weight of this putter minimizes my tendency to over hit the ball. I ’ m 15 rounds into using it and I can tell the heft chills me out and I ’ m coming up just short or sinking it vs over shooting the hole. Only thing I don ’ t like is the putter cover is hard to replace one handed and any bump in the cart knocks it off without me knowing.

I just received my MT22 putter and am already impressed with it. This putter compares well to all the other milled putters available today. The craftsmanship is outstanding. You know immediately when you have something in your hands that is expertly made and of the highest quality. At address the putter gives me a sense of confidence. When I take a stroke I notice that the shape of the head and it's weight make keeping it in line easy. Then when you strike the ball there is a solid thump and that sensation carries up into the hand giving you the feedback that it was solidly hit. The weight of the putter also helps better judge the amount of force needed to stroke the ball all the way to the cup without putting too much force on the putt. There is just enough toe hang to keep the putter head square through the stroke. If there is one drawback is the lack of options when it comes to the grip. It would be great if this came with the option for an oversize grip. I would not hesitate changing the grip but it is my understanding that Wilson counter balances their putters and I am afraid that changing the grip would alter the great balance this putter has.

I recently did a fitting and got matched up with a bettinardi bb48. No one in my city sells Wilson off the rack so I bit the bullet and bought this one. I definitely don ’ t regret it at all. It really has nearly identical feel and performance as the bb48. This putter is over all really well balanced and has a premium look and feel. The feel is definitely softer but not so soft that you lose feedback. The top line is clean and back really flows nicely drawing your eye to the sight line and it reallg squares nicely behind the ball. The weight is also really well balanced. It doesn ’ t feel too clunky and heavy. Being that I recently changed from an older 330g blade putter I was worried it would be too heavy but this is not the case at all. It has almost a blade feel with the added control of a mallet. My only complaint is that Wilson doesn ’ t have a lot of finish options. I do prefer a black putter but luckily I am able to refinish it at home.

This putter is by far the best putter I 've ever owned. It swings like a well balanced pendulum. Played with a buddy the second time out and was draining everything. After making a 15 footer he asked to try it and proceeded to drop his from about the same distance. It definitely got his attention. I 'm hoping that if it continues to perform like this it will save me 3 to 4 strokes per round. Wish it was a little less expensive but if it lasts me several years it will be well worth it.

Since purchasing the PLD Anser 2 blade putter I have been extremely impressed with my putting improvements. This is the first blade putter I ’ ve ever had in my bag. Over the last decade I ’ ve gained a handful of mallet putter ‘s and never really felt confident with the flat stick. What I like most about this club is how easy it is to line up my putt and consistently keep it on line. It ’s taken me a little time to figure out distance control for leg parts, but since the day I put it in the bag I have been making considerably more of the 6 to 10 foot variety than I did before. As a near- single digit player, I ’ ve found this Zero Torque Counter Balanced design excellent. Takes a bit getting used to but the roll is soft, true, comfortable( I use modified claw) and the grip is solid, a bit wider than normal. My putting stats are definitely improved( and psychologically as well). Full recommendation. Though not inexpensive.

I 've used/tried various putters over the years including the Taylormade Spider to the Mizuno Omoi Mcraft 01 to the Odyssey Jailbird Mini. The Evnroll is by far the best putter I 've used due to it's overall balance and weight. I 've had the putter for a month now and it's already paid for itself in saved pars and birdies! Worth trying!

The milled face provides a soft feel when putting. Hitting in the sweet spot produces a slight ping sound which is not overbearing. The grip is nice, not to large and not too small. I just purchased a Spider GT Max last week. I rolled a few putts on the putting green and it is great so far. The new face insert feels better than the older Spider X. I need to experiment with the movable weights in the future but I am very excited. We only use the driver 14 times per round but we use putter more than a half of our score. I applaud TM for making the world ’s first movable weight putter. I share a similar view about the black stepped putter shaft. The KBS CT Tour shaft looks and feels better.

I researched multiple zero torque putters. I went to a local Dicks to try various types which were on display. I had full intentions of others brands until I picked up and tried the evnroll.
