Purchased for my 6x12 pop up fish house. Need to keep the windows open to keep from getting too warm, even on low. Wish it had a thermostat. Works great to heat up my 2+ car garage also. Both cases the outside temp was at or near zero. Runs for 8+ hours off a 20# tank on low.

I got this heater for use on cold days for tailgating. It was put to the test the very first time I used it. It was easy to set up, easy to light and puts off a ton of heat. It ’s great. By the way, the connection to the propane tank is counterclockwise so don ’ t let that throw you off.

Frequently Asked Questions For Directional Propane Heater

A directional propane heater is designed to focus heat in a specific direction, making it ideal for outdoor spaces or large areas where targeted warmth is needed. These heaters use propane as a fuel source, which is ignited to produce heat that is then directed towards a designated area. This feature allows for efficient heating without wasting energy on surrounding spaces.

Directional propane heaters offer several advantages, including efficient heating and portability. They are particularly useful for outdoor activities, construction sites, or events where warmth is needed in specific areas. Additionally, they can operate without electricity, making them versatile for various environments.

While some directional propane heaters are designed for indoor use, it is crucial to ensure proper ventilation when using them indoors to prevent the buildup of harmful gases. Always check the manufacturer's guidelines and local regulations before using a propane heater inside. For safety, many users prefer to use these heaters in well-ventilated outdoor settings.

When selecting a directional propane heater, consider factors such as the heater's BTU output, which determines how much heat it can produce, and its portability for ease of movement. Additionally, look for features like adjustable heat settings, safety mechanisms, and the size of the area you need to heat. Understanding your specific heating needs will help you choose the right model.

To safely operate a directional propane heater, always follow the manufacturer's instructions and ensure the heater is placed on a stable, flat surface away from flammable materials. Regularly check for leaks in the propane connections and ensure proper ventilation if used indoors. Additionally, never leave the heater unattended while in use and turn it off when not needed.
