We have had a Mr. Heater for over 20 years and love it( and it is still working). My daughter kept borrowing it for her camping trips so we bought her one for Christmas. Have had mine 3 years. I have learned that if you push pilot light button more than 3 times to ignite gas, HEATER PILOT TUBE NEEDS CLEANED! After i clean pilot tube heater will light second push of ignitor every time for appx 8 tanks of camping fuel.

Bought this for camping on an unusually cold weekend. I did n't have it running the whole time as the tent was pretty tight and there is an open pilot light that will constantly run when operating. But running it for 20 minutes or so will heat our 6 person tent nicely. Then I turned it off, fell asleep and when I woke up after the tent cooled back down I would start it back up for 20 minutes. The kids did n't even realize any of it happened. They just knew the tent was more comfortable than the outdoors when they exited in the morning. I 've used it a couple of times in our detached two car garage as well. It would n't work to heat the space, but works nicely if you are working in one spot and just want to the the edge off.
