I ’ ve been wearing these pants for both work and play for the last 3 years. Phenomenal in almost every way. Hard wearing, durable, and stylish. I do wish they were a bit thicker( like this version from years ago), but they are thick enough for construction work. They happen to be just right for backpacking in the Winds of Wyoming- warm days, cold nights. As to the comments from others about being too tight, order a larger size… Pockets are adequate for what I put in them but they are not giant cargo pockets. One of the best features is the strategic stretch material. Pants are never binding and always comfortable. Thank you for making an amazing product!

No offense, but size up. I ’ m specifically speaking to my thiqq boys that make noise in the gym. We love leg day, we do it because it allows us to hike for longer. We do it for the glutes. Trust me when I say it ’s not you it ’s them. Size up and thank me later. Aside from the sizing I love these and I personally think they are a great investment if you want to take your hiking attire to the next level. Ventilation isn ’ t the cure for everything and everyone sweats differently. The ventilation here definitely cured my souther sweat factory. I used these on a hike and my back was getting sweaty so on way back I ventilated and holy cow what a difference. You sacrifice a pocket and some thigh space by having the zipper to ventilate but this thiqq boy doesn ’ t like to chafe and am I happy I found these. I still give these a 5 star regardless of the size up. I do not like to have a sweaty bottom or back and this did exactly what I needed. Take the time and invest in gear that will last longer, haste makes chafe.

Initial observations. These pants are true to size. They fit great with a belt. I was worried about the boot hook and vent zipper. The boot hook is tucked away so that it is protected from accidently catching. The zipper pulls on the vents tucks away when open or closed.

Gone through many brands of fastpitch pants with my 16 year daughter, and they all fit very different! For reference, my daughter is 5' 2 ''/ 130- 135 lbs/ thin waist and muscular body type. Thighs like a body builder so most medium/28 pants have been super tight fitting in the thighs and somewhat restrictive( Boombah/Champro). However those brands did have a short enough inseam that the elastic sat just below the knee as she prefers. These Mizuno pants are a bit different. Quality, look, feel and color are all excellent. A size Medium was a little roomy in the waste, nothing a belt could n't fix. Much better fit through the thighs, also just a bit of room and flexibility, not tight fitting at all for her muscular thighs. The length however was too long for her 5' 2 '' height, way too long. And not the type where she could just hike them up a bit and expect the elastic to keep them up. These were probably 5 inches too long! We are keeping these because the fit and feel is excellent, but having to pay a tailor to have them taken up several inches which is the only reason I 'm giving these 4/5 stars. Hopefully this is helpful. I 'd say for a girl with a 28- 31 waist in most softball pants, and 5' 5 '' to 5' 8 '' height these in a size Med might be your favorite pants! If you are 5' 4 '' or below expect to need alterations unless you like them hanging near your shin/ankle.

I have been lusting over these for several years but could never justify the high price. Eventually I tried on a pair of these in the Boulder store. I usually wear a 34 US, but they were a bit snug so I went up to a size 36 US and immediately loved them. Needless to say I purchased them and after wearing them for around a month I liked them so much that I purchased two more pair and donated my other work trousers. Nice!
