I have a miniscus tear and I did research on the Shock Doctor 872 knee brace. It gives maximum support and the comfort level was what sold me on buying it. Way better then the standard issue braces that the doctor gives you. The fit is also what made this brace a winner. It's Contoured for your leg with the wider end for your thigh and the smaller end for you knee and calf. The velcro straps made it stay up and not move. The knee cap hole let's you verify it has n't slipped. Since it's a dual hinge you do n't even notice that the hinge is there because it moves so easily with the two pivot points. Highly recomen the Shock Doctor line for any brace needs

So I bought about 5 different knee braces. I mountain bike and so lots of knee bending. For some reason all knee braces I tried hurt the thin skin on the underside back of the knee.
