I read a ton of reviews and watch a dozen videos on YT before I bought these shoes. One thing I consistently heard was size up half a size if you don ’ t have narrow feet. I 100% agree with them. I buy men ’s shoes because I naturally have wider feet than most women. I typically wear a 9. 5 in men ’s but bought a 10 in this pair and they fit perfect, with a little extra space in the front. Just like I like it, my feet swell in this Texas heat! I also read that these shoes had an aggressive plate in them. I don ’ t agree, I feel like it ’s a subtle but noticeable propulsion forward. I don ’ t feel like it ’s so excessive than my feet hurt. Overall great shoe! I will purchase more for more racing.

The additional heel padding kept my foot locked in and comfortable. I went true to size and had ample room around my forefoot and toes. These are super comfortable, cruisers with some responsiveness. I run 5- 6 half- marathon races per year and average around 30 miles/week for training, so I go through many shoes. These have become one of my favorite Adidas running shoes now- that means a lot because I have every Adidas performance line running shoes. I just got these last week and put in about 10 miles. I like the previous Rise 2, and this one is better in terms of comfort and shock absorption. The previous version was a bit firm but had a good energy return. I prefer Rise 3 much better as a long run and daily trainer companion.
