The design is very stylish and appealing, making regular black shoes pop and blend well with a good outfit. The fabric is very strong but flexible allowing for plenty of foot adjustment and movement as necessary while also giving great support. These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. What I like the most about these is that I could walk miles in these right out of the box, no break in period necessary. If I had to change one thing, it would be the “ strap ” on the tongue of the shoe where the laces go. This is not necessarily an issue for me but I could see where others might find it difficult to tie and untie the shoes based on its location. Over all, these are fantastic shoes and I will be getting them in multiple colors.

Pretty solid shoe all around, only had one 5 mile run in them and my initial thoughts were that they ’ re not as springy or cushiony as they look. But, while I was running I noticed I was hitting faster paces without exerting too much energy. The overall feel was pretty comfortable throughout the run, although I did notice when I did my cool down and was going slower the bottom of my foot, where my arch is started to hurt a little. [ Nike Zoom Structure 25 is where comfort meets support. Zoom cushioning with arch support to help stabilize the foot. Added support in the arch of the foot is noticeable but not too much and is comfortable for all day wear. Fit is true to size as far a Nike running goes. Standard width was roomy and provide me ample toe box room. Upper is lightweight and breathable. Outsole has good traction and did not experience any traction issues running outdoors or on the treadmill.

When asked his opinion on the negatives of the shoes he said he couldn ’ t think of any but his top 2 positives about the shoe were fit and comfort. When it came to the fit he said that the shoes fit like a glove they weren ’ t too loose and they weren ’ t too tight and he stated that they didn ’ t adjust over time as well like some shoes do, they stayed at the perfect fit. He also said that he really likes where the shoe falls on the ankle because it ’s not too high where you feel constricted and not too low where it rubs against the bone. He can wear these shoes all day and stay comfortable in them, they have the right amount of cushion and bounce without feeling like you are walking on a board. [ The Nike air zoom, structure 25, is a lightweight, breathable sneaker designed for distance and endurance. At first sight the look of the shoe wasn ’ t set to awe anyone. But once the foot is in the shoe the looks don ’ t matter. The shoe fits true to size and holds the foot like Goldilocks…not too tight, not too loose…just right. The cushion was noticeably significant as the shock absorption on strike was well received and eliminated prevailing joint pain through the leg. That being said, the insole of this shoe is geared more towards a rear mid/heel striker. I also tested this shoe in cross training with a combo HIIT, functional strength training, spring workout and the shoe performed well. It is now my favorite cross training shoe. I would suggest flat laces that hold up to vigorous training and a larger pull loop on the back of the heel for convenience. Overall, 9/10.

Had my first run in them and I was sold. 25 miles in. I went 7. 5 miles in them and here are my thoughts. These shoes improve upon everything the Zoom Fly 5 was trying to do. The upper is better, the heel lock is better, the traction is better, the rocker shape is better, the shoe is lighter, the ZoomX is so much softer, and even the little cutout on the sole ’s mid- foot area is better. This shoe is lighter, less clunky, and softer than its predecessor. It lives up to all the hype and then some.

[ To be fully transparent, my go- to shoes are the Nike VaporMax Plus or the Flyknits. I love how comfortable and multifunctional they are given I can literally wear them to the gym or a casual day out while the array of fun color options makes them all the more versatile. With that said, this is my first pair of Nike Vomeros. Based on looks alone, this style of shoe probably would not be my first choice given I prioritize fashion over function. However, after wearing them several times while out walking on the trail near my house which is a mix of paved road and dirt, I can say they are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I ’ ve ever worn. The sole of the shoe has a ton of foam cushioning with really nice arch support while the entire shoe is super lightweight and stretchy. The tongue is also really thick which allows me to pull the laces tight and not feel them cutting into the top of my foot. I also love that the shoelaces are flat and remained tied! The entire shoe is made of breathable, lightweight material making them the perfect shoe for walking or running. I normally size up by 1/2 a size because I like to have a little extra room for when I wear thick Nike Dri- FIT socks. The shoe however is true to size!

These are great. Super light for a running shoe these days in a world of maximalist trainers. My size 13 pair is just over 7oz per shoe. Marketed as a 5k/10k shoe, but I routinely wear them for distances of 10- 15 miles without issue. I 've even done some decent gravel and trail distances in them. I weigh 185 so putting decent energy into my pair. Nice and roomy toe box, super comfy. Not as plush and springy as, say, Vaporfly Next%s, of course, but the light weight and comfort more than make up for that and it 's a shoe I tend to reach for first even when doing double digit miles. I have a couple hundred miles on them and they 're still going strong. Wishing they 'd come out with some more subdued colorways similar to the protos instead of the loud oranges and purples and whatever, but I 'm sure in time they will. Best Nike shoe yet, and maybe best recent running shoe from any company.

I do n't run a lot of 5k 's. Coming off a half marathon personal best I ran a personal best 10k and was going for the same in a 5k. I usually just run in a pair of my training shoes, but thought a lighter pair would help in a shorter distance. Any excuse for a new pair of running shoes. Out of the box my first thought was amazement at how light they are! My shoe rotation includes the zoomx invincible 1 and 2 's, vomero 16 's and the brooks adrenaline. None of which are particularly light. First time on my feet the upper felt like tissue paper with a zoomx lower. The upper did not feel flexible. Almost plasticky, but not a major issue. The cushioning felt squishy like I would bottom it out under hard running. First run, they felt fine. Lighter, more nimble than my usual shoes. Cushioning felt adequate for a short distance. Second run felt better. A little more broken in for me or the shoes. Just two 5k runs to check them out before the race. 5k Race day, they felt great. Missed my personal best slightly, but it was 90% humidity so not the shoes fault. Honestly the shoes just disappeared on my feet. I was 24th out of 254 people. So I 'm not the fastest guy out there. 8: 35 miles. Post mortem, the shoes have a total of 10 miles on them. I can see wear on the outsole. Some of it kind of looks like galling. The outsole material feels so soft I do n't expect it to last. Took a picture, but I 'm not sure if the wear will show. Post mortem, my feet are a little more sore than typical post race. Reasonable to expect given the reduced cushioning for the lighter weight. A fair trade. I will keep these shoes for 5k races and a couple of faster training runs leading up to them. Keeping the miles down. I do n't think I would run a 10k in these, but maybe. Spectacularly light and surprisingly comfortable. If I was going to change one thing I 'd make the cushioning very slightly firmer. I felt like maybe I was bottoming them out on race day.

These are really great shoes. Hands down probably the best running shoes I 've owned. I 've been suffering from ball of foot pain( metatarsalgia) under the second toe for about 8 months, and it really started to flare up within the last 1. 5 months. I tend to be a forefoot striker and typically run about 5- 7 miles when I go out. Just went on a 7 mile run with the AlphaFly Next% 2 and they really did help to neutralize the impact on the 2nd metatarsal head to the point where I felt no soreness or pain post run. Nike recommended a size 9. 5, but I ended up buying a size 11 and it fits perfect. Hope Nike continues to make shoes like this since it helped me avoid having to give up running.

[ My first initial thought once getting the Nike ReactX Pegasus Trail 5 out of the box was the sleek yet stand out design and ALL THAT FOAM. Once getting it on feet it felt as comfortable and welcoming as putting a glove on. This shoe is meant for hiking in mind however it is also just a great overall everyday shoe. Going to to the store, going on a walk at my local dog park or even just a nice change of shoes from my normal Jordan ’s or Dunk lows! The shoe feels well put together overall. At first glance the carbon fiber- esque overlay on the inside middle of the shoe doesn ’ t seem like it would do much but as someone who has wider feet naturally it helped keep my foot compressed and on the bed of the shoe where it should be. As well as keeping the shape of the shoe the same for more wears and longer life span for the shoe. I would have to say my only gripe is the back tabs loop used to more comfortably put on the seems flimsy at first and I did refrain from using it in the worries of ripping or damaging the back. Maybe a thicker loop or removal of the strap for other features or design would be my suggestion. Overrall however I feel extremely fortunate I was able to wear these shoes first hand and try them on. It ’ ll definitely be my contender when it comes to any future hiking, trail or everyday shoe!

I am an avid trail hiker and runner. I have completed the AT and the PCT and the South Island of the Te Araroa. The fit, comfort and durability of the Wildhorse shoe are extremely good and the weight is as light as I would want it to be for 30 mile days. A couple suggested improvements would be: 1: a lace band in the lace channel so laces can be tucked, 2) a gaiter clip at the front of tongue to attach a gaiter clip, and 3) a small channel in the middle of the sole for a gaiter bottom strap.

Took the shoe for multiple trail runs. I ran on rocky terrain, sand, grass, and even paved sidewalks and streets. The comfort was consistent. Sand is a little difficult to run on, but the shoe held up just fine. Also very light, relative to my other trail running shoes. Planning on a second purchase. More color choices would be great.

As an added benefit that look great and they 're not overly bulky like some trail shoes. I could imagine using these even as a daily wearer.

[ For some context, I am a male in my mid 20s and I run about 60 miles a week. I am currently training for a 25km race and I primarily used the Zegama 2s for my easy and steady runs. I was quite impressed with the Zegama 2. One notable enhancement is the incorporation of Vibram technology into the outsole, providing excellent grip and stability, particularly on trails. This feature proved invaluable during my off- road sessions. When running, this allowed the ride of the shoe to be grippy and secure. In particular, when on the trails, this was quite handy! However, the Zoom X foam is the highlight of this shoe. Not only is the foam soft and squishy, but it is also offers a high energy return. I found the foam to be most useful on my easy runs. After running a hard session, this shoe works well for easy days on the trails. The high cushioning keeps the muscles fresh. As someone who has ran in many of Nike ’s shoes, I will say that this iteration of Zoom X is not as squishy as the initial generation. It is a firmer version. For comparison, it is similar to the feel of the invincible 3. In terms of fit, the shoe fit true to size. I normally wear a 9. 5 and it fit me perfectly. I appreciate how the upper extends higher than a normal shoe- this helps to prevent dirt and rocks from entering the shoe. However, given its trail- focused design, I wished for a waterproof upper to tackle muddy terrains while keeping my socks dry. Often times, the trails are quite muddy, and by having a waterproof upper, this would serve the shoe well. Nonetheless, the fabric of the upper is comfortable and I did not have any issues with blisters or rubbing. As can be seen by my pictures, I have the shoe in the black and white colorway. The design works well as it hides dirt. Although I already have almost 30 miles on the shoes, they still look brand new! As someone who works nights, I enjoy the little details of the shoe: it says “ all day ” and “ all night ” on each respective tongue. This made me chuckle when I first saw it. In terms of bottom line, I really enjoyed this shoe. The updated outsole works well and the Zoom X cushion is phenomenal. The ride is great and responsive. I imagine I will be reaching for this shoe for all my trail runs, and even for some easy and steady days on the sidewalk. As for potential improvements, waterproofing the upper would undoubtedly elevate this shoe 's performance, especially in muddy conditions. If it was waterproof, this shoe would truly be at the top of the trail shoe category. Further, while I love the Zoom X, I do wish it was a softer version of the cushioning. I am not sure what chemical changes have occurred since its debut years ago, but it continues to get firmer with each update. However, some many appreciate this change.
