[ Nike Zoom Structure 25 is where comfort meets support. Zoom cushioning with arch support to help stabilize the foot. Added support in the arch of the foot is noticeable but not too much and is comfortable for all day wear. Fit is true to size as far a Nike running goes. Standard width was roomy and provide me ample toe box room. Upper is lightweight and breathable. Outsole has good traction and did not experience any traction issues running outdoors or on the treadmill.

When asked his opinion on the negatives of the shoes he said he couldn ’ t think of any but his top 2 positives about the shoe were fit and comfort. When it came to the fit he said that the shoes fit like a glove they weren ’ t too loose and they weren ’ t too tight and he stated that they didn ’ t adjust over time as well like some shoes do, they stayed at the perfect fit. He also said that he really likes where the shoe falls on the ankle because it ’s not too high where you feel constricted and not too low where it rubs against the bone. He can wear these shoes all day and stay comfortable in them, they have the right amount of cushion and bounce without feeling like you are walking on a board. My husband now wears these shoes every day outside of work.

[ The Nike air zoom, structure 25, is a lightweight, breathable sneaker designed for distance and endurance. At first sight the look of the shoe wasn ’ t set to awe anyone. But once the foot is in the shoe the looks don ’ t matter. The shoe fits true to size and holds the foot like Goldilocks…not too tight, not too loose…just right. The cushion was noticeably significant as the shock absorption on strike was well received and eliminated prevailing joint pain through the leg. That being said, the insole of this shoe is geared more towards a rear mid/heel striker. I also tested this shoe in cross training with a combo HIIT, functional strength training, spring workout and the shoe performed well. It is now my favorite cross training shoe. I would suggest flat laces that hold up to vigorous training and a larger pull loop on the back of the heel for convenience. Overall, 9/10.

The design is very stylish and appealing, making regular black shoes pop and blend well with a good outfit. What I like the most about these is that I could walk miles in these right out of the box, no break in period necessary. If I had to change one thing, it would be the “ strap ” on the tongue of the shoe where the laces go. This is not necessarily an issue for me but I could see where others might find it difficult to tie and untie the shoes based on its location. Over all, these are fantastic shoes and I will be getting them in multiple colors.

But, while I was running I noticed I was hitting faster paces without exerting too much energy. The overall feel was pretty comfortable throughout the run, although I did notice when I did my cool down and was going slower the bottom of my foot, where my arch is started to hurt a little. I had foot surgery at the beginning of the year and I was using the Max 2 ’s for running. When the Max 3 ’s came out I thought I ’ d give them a try. I am so pleased with these shoes. The cushioning has made my fused toe as comfortable as it can be in any shoe I ’ ve had on since the operation. The footbed is comfortable and the soft upper is flexible enough for my fused toe to get into without pain. I ’ m loving these shoes- the fact that they ’ re orange only makes them even better. I upgraded the black laces to orange because….. orange. Sometimes shoe model upgrades aren ’ t really an upgrade- this time it is. Way to go Brooks, ya done great!

After several months of running in these shoes, I can confidently say I 'm impressed with their performance. So far I have about 65 miles on my pair of morphlites. They are one of the best shoes I have ever owned for the price. The upper feels very durable and substantial without being hot or stiff. The sole provides a good amount of cushion under foot. I have noticed minimal compression lines in the sole within my 65 miles on them. It appears larger in stack height than they actually are which if you are missing minimal stack shoes in the sea of high stacks these are an awesome option. The tread is not Vibram which keeps the cost lower but it is still a nice rubber. The lug pattern and shorter lug depth makes them great on roads but, in my opinion they really shine on gravel and fire roads. They have more than enough trail cred that you can take them on some beginner trail running too. I will say that when I attempted to take them on so real trail runs they definitely did not feel great but, that is certainly not what they are designed to do. I give kudos to merrell for coming out with a solid hybrid trail/pavement shoe.

The Plus offers a strong, steady run with a consistent expenditure of energy from start to finish. When I need/want to pick up the pace, these shoes deliver, easily. I was impressed to say the least. They are super lightweight while offering an exceptional level of stability and control. Pegasus Plus has earned its place as a permanent fixture in my running wardrobe. FWIW, I found that I needed to break these in longer than my usual Pegasus — wearing them for a few hours a day around the house for about a week as opposed to alternating old and new shoes on my runs.
