These just arrived, so only have had them for a few days now and they are noticeably lighter than the Zoom Fly 5. I have had 4 pairs of Zoom Fly 5 's and they have been great running shoes. The Zoom Fly 6 feels more stable in stride and when walking, I really like that Nike has reduced the size of the heel from the protruding heel on the Zoom Fly 5, that to me is why the new 6 feels more stable. The appearance of the shoe looks great. The bottom has also been updated, I think the traction is slightly better than the 5 and so far I have not encountered the `` suction '' noise the 5 's had on smooth floors. So far, so good, looking forward to seeing how many miles these can take!

I just finished my 10- mile morning run. I really enjoy the Pro 5. I could feel the difference: super lightweight and stable. The greater firmness provides more stability, and I was able to run faster. The sole is intact. I 've read and watched videos about complaints, but the problem is n't the shoes. The problem is that we have different foot types, shapes, and strides. Underpronator, supinated, overpronator, or Heel striker. In my case, I have a neutral gait: my weight is distributed evenly from heel to toe, which gives me greater stability. I have never had problems with my knees, hips, Achilles tendons, calves, etc. I have worn various brands, but Adidas offers the best stability, comfort, and speed. I do use other brands and models occasionally, just to add variety to my training.

I had no issues with wear or comfort, and the stability was excellent throughout the entire race, especially on a course with both significant downhill and uphill sections. [ Negatives: When making sharper turns, I felt that there was a lack of balance. It is possible that it is due to the stack height or the RapidRoll rocker geometries. I say this because propelling forward felt very smooth, but when it came to turns, I still felt pushed forward so balancing was harder. Use: Tempo runs, fartleks, race pace workouts, time trials Performance: They performed extremely well. After each step, I felt more power and spring in my legs. Faster paces felt easier. Not only did I feel great, I ran great too. I ran a new PR in the mile by 11 seconds. At the end of each run in the Hyperion Elite 6, my legs did not feel full of lactic acid or super fatigued. Features: The new carbon fiber SpeedVault+ plate really did it 's job! That and the nitrogen – infused DNA GOLD cushioning which made the shoes feel super light and airy paired well together very nicely. Fit& Sizing: The shoe did feel true to size. When I tightened the laces, my foot was very snug. There was a very fine line between it feeling loose and extra tight, but once I found it, the shoe felt fine.

[ I do n't often use high end carbon plated race shoes because they do n't typically work well for me. I have a history of PF in my right foot that I have learned to manage and the Hyperion Elite 6 does n't feel as stiff as other carbon plated race shoes I 've used in a good way. It 's definitely a shoe I 'll use for long runs, tempo sessions, and VO2max sessions. I 've even taken it on easy days and it manages to feel good for those slow efforts. I love the pads around the ankle that give you solid lockdown. I did n't have a lot of confidence in the upper when I looked at how thin and minimal it was but the durability has held up for me. It 's also a great looking shoe.

[ The Brooks Hyperion Elite 6 is incredible. I ’ ve used them for a few workouts so far and it felt like flying. The cushioning combined with the speedvault+ plate, rocker, and light weight of the shoe are made for peak performance. I noticed a quicker snappier leg turnover and more efficient stride even just compared to the Hyperion max. One of the best parts is even after harder efforts, it felt easier to recover. The upper appears to be very minimal but it was surprisingly super secure. The shoe fits perfectly and true to size. Very excited to race in these!

Had my first run in them and I was sold. 25 miles in. I went 7. 5 miles in them and here are my thoughts. These shoes improve upon everything the Zoom Fly 5 was trying to do. The upper is better, the heel lock is better, the traction is better, the rocker shape is better, the shoe is lighter, the ZoomX is so much softer, and even the little cutout on the sole ’s mid- foot area is better. This shoe is lighter, less clunky, and softer than its predecessor. It lives up to all the hype and then some.

Yes the heel collar is a little high but it does break in. I think it adds to the stability which is why I love the Pro 's. I ran 3 marathons in the 4 's and have had 4 pairs. I bought the 5 's and they are great. I taped my heel on my 20 mile long runs and had no issues. They are slightly more stable than the 4 's and that is what I want. A responsive marathon ready shoe that is stable and NO BLISTERS!!! I have tried every other brand and I do n't know whose feet they fit but Saucony is the GOAT for fit. I am running LA Marathon on Sunday and will be wearing these shoes. If I have any issues I will update the review but like I said I already did 20 miles a couple times during training and with a bit of tape or a band aid on the heel I had zero issues. I think they are broken in and wo n't have an issue but I will be cautious and tape the back of my heel. They also have extra foam at the connection between the upper and the midsole which I think will add to the durability of the shoe. I had issues with the 4 's tearing at the upper and midsole( check review for 4 's). Hopefully this change will add to durability. I also have the speed 5 's and these are a bit snappier but the speeds are a good 2nd if you are budget conscious.

To be clear — all my original Skyward Xs were women ’s 10( I am a woman) but I went for the men ’s 9 for the very slight additional width and I find these more comfy. Loooooove the blue, too. I also use these more for everyday and walking because I ’ m on my feet all day rather than just running. I was nervous about the drop as I prefer zero- low drop but the shoe feels more like a 4- 6mm drop which is also great. Definitely perfect for faster runs both short and longer( 5- 12k?). I was already a fan of the original Sylan and I think the updates here have only made it an even better shoe. Early spring means generally muckier trails around NYC, so I like the updated lug pattern, which will more readily shed mud and dirt. I 'm glad that the rocker shape and highly breathable upper are still present because of the overall comfort they provide. I do n't have ankle stability issues, but those who are tentative on more technical terrain should notice improved stability from the forked carbon plate. Last, but not least, the supercritical foam upgrade added enough bounce that I even wore these for the NYC Half- Marathon a few days ago- a road race.( Note: these are not designed for road running and wearing them for that purpose will not be suitable for everyone!) For me, these fit true to size.
