The upper hugs my feet really nicely without feeling too constricted. The only hiccup is that for the first couple runs, the shoe rubbed my outer ankle a bit, but then it was fine. Great shoes!

Yes the heel collar is a little high but it does break in. I think it adds to the stability which is why I love the Pro's. I ran 3 marathons in the 4's and have had 4 pairs. I bought the 5's and they are great. I taped my heel on my 20 mile long runs and had no issues. They are slightly more stable than the 4's and that is what I want. A responsive marathon ready shoe that is stable and NO BLISTERS!!! I have tried every other brand and I do n't know whose feet they fit but Saucony is the GOAT for fit. I am running LA Marathon on Sunday and will be wearing these shoes. If I have any issues I will update the review but like I said I already did 20 miles a couple times during training and with a bit of tape or a band aid on the heel I had zero issues. I think they are broken in and wo n't have an issue but I will be cautious and tape the back of my heel. They also have extra foam at the connection between the upper and the midsole which I think will add to the durability of the shoe. I had issues with the 4's tearing at the upper and midsole( check review for 4's). Hopefully this change will add to durability. I also have the speed 5's and these are a bit snappier but the speeds are a good 2nd if you are budget conscious.

Switched to Zoom Fly when the first edition came out. The 6 is an absolute game changer. First run out of the box ran about: 30/mile faster than my usual slog without trying to do so. My HR is commensurately higher, but my legs and body feel much easier. Just a tremendous shoe for forefoot or midfoot strikers- would not recommend for heel strikers. I am older and much slower than I used to be but I am enjoying runs more than I have in years.

These are really great shoes. Hands down probably the best running shoes I 've owned. I 've been suffering from ball of foot pain( metatarsalgia) under the second toe for about 8 months, and it really started to flare up within the last 1. 5 months. I tend to be a forefoot striker and typically run about 5- 7 miles when I go out. Just went on a 7 mile run with the AlphaFly Next% 2 and they really did help to neutralize the impact on the 2nd metatarsal head to the point where I felt no soreness or pain post run. Nike recommended a size 9. 5, but I ended up buying a size 11 and it fits perfect. Hope Nike continues to make shoes like this since it helped me avoid having to give up running.

I ran sub- 4 at age 57 with six months of training and a five day taper. The next day I had no problems running six miles. To be clear — all my original Skyward Xs were women ’s 10( I am a woman) but I went for the men ’s 9 for the very slight additional width and I find these more comfy. Loooooove the blue, too. I also use these more for everyday and walking because I ’ m on my feet all day rather than just running. I have a pair of the originals I use just for running and they are a little bulky as your primary runners. But I feel like I ’ m walking on a cloud with everyday wear.

Speed wise they feel amazing, they can handle 200 repeats or a 2 mile race. They make both feel smooth and efficient, really loving getting to wear them so far. Im not the best track athlete but these are great for races the plate is very springy and at the end of your 3200s or 1600s you dont feel nearly as fatigued with the plate helping. The looks also dont mean much but beautiful look… for the first couple wears. These get compressed and brownish very quickly after a couple races but they are still plenty comfortable and also will have you right for some prs

Bought these a couple of weeks ago for track season, I have not worn them too much yet, but so far I ’ ve noticed they are comfy and light, and super cute colors. But, they are super tight on my feet. They feel very slim, maybe I should ’ ve gotten a wide. However, I do not wear a wide in any other shoe, so I am not sure why these feel so tight.

The new Maxfly 2 Photo has finally made fast, stable curves a reality. It has a great new upper and the wider base with just six spikes gives instant ground contact. It was great to have a first- buy chance as a Nike Member. Which of course did n't happen because the site was overrun and the Nike online retail let the bulk resale buyers have their way.

I just ran a 50km race with 5, 000 feet of elevation gain and loss wearing these shoes. I was nervous that the toe box height would be too short, but that didn ’ t end up being an issue at all. I didn ’ t get a single blister after getting them from other trail shoes. The front toe shield definitely saved my big toe more than once after slamming into some rocks. I ’ d recommend them for lighter mud and snow conditions, but overall they were very comfortable and fast. They fit true to size to my vaporflys. Very satisfied and an eye catching piece.

I received them quickly and very well packaged. These shoes are solid! Great, great support and your foot is in heaven. It does hug your foot closely all the way around. If you like it more roomy the you should up a size. C width would be ideal.
