Overall a super high quality track spike. I had the Dragonfly XC ’s before and these are a huge step up. I almost forgot I was wearing them because they are so light. Speed wise they feel amazing, they can handle 200 repeats or a 2 mile race. They make both feel smooth and efficient, really loving getting to wear them so far. Im not the best track athlete but these are great for races the plate is very springy and at the end of your 3200s or 1600s you dont feel nearly as fatigued with the plate helping. The looks also dont mean much but beautiful look… for the first couple wears. Are Nike Alphafly 3 shoes truly worth their price? Let me share my experience. At the start of August, I had a sore knee, but since my son wanted to participate in a race, I used KT Tape to support my knee and completed the half marathon of this race. Despite the knee discomfort, I noticed that the shoes seemed to enhance my speed. Remarkably, I achieved a 6: 25/mi pace for a half marathon for the first time in 2024, using the Nike AF3 during the Catherine Creek Classic on August 3, 2024( you can view more details on my Strava page- athlete# 59684519). The AF3s demonstrated exceptional performance and comfort throughout the race, even for my wider feet. The color options are impressive, especially the green and purple variants. Although the price is quite high and I 've noticed the outsole wears out faster than other models I ’ ve used, I believe the performance justifies the cost. I would n't necessarily use the AF3 shoes as my daily running shoes but would be my go- to kicks for races.

The shoes are exactly what a person needs to perform their upcoming marathon. The Nike Alphafly 3 ’s are extremely responsive and have the best energy return out of every stride compared to the competition. I would recommend to people making this investment to go a half size up. I am a true size 10 in Nike shoes( I generally run in the Nike Pegasus Line for reference), but the Alphafly ’s in the Pink/Purple color- way at least do run smaller compared to most Nike models. I have tried on a pair of size 10. 5 Alphafly and they fit more like a true to size 10 Nike running shoe. Overall, these are awesome shoes and are the best marathon shoes on market!

These just arrived, so only have had them for a few days now and they are noticeably lighter than the Zoom Fly 5. I have had 4 pairs of Zoom Fly 5's and they have been great running shoes. The Zoom Fly 6 feels more stable in stride and when walking, I really like that Nike has reduced the size of the heel from the protruding heel on the Zoom Fly 5, that to me is why the new 6 feels more stable. The appearance of the shoe looks great. The bottom has also been updated, I think the traction is slightly better than the 5 and so far I have not encountered the `` suction '' noise the 5's had on smooth floors. So far, so good, looking forward to seeing how many miles these can take!

I am a men's size 8, but I got a size 9 for the extra space and I chose correctly. Also, the color is great if you want to stand out while running in these shoes. I have taken the shoes out for a 12- mile run and a 23- mile run and they are extremely comfortable on my feet. Overall, fantastic shoes for the price. I did n't need a show that had a lot of padding, and good for sprints, so I looked into On shoes. I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them and put it on. I like how they keep my ankles and feet stable when running, but have a good amount of pop to it. It's not as poppy or floaty- like as the Adidas shoes but they 're great. I even got them on a discount at Going Going gone! They 're wider in the toe and the rubber supports far outside the bottom of the shoe, which is what I was looking for.

Switched to Zoom Fly when the first edition came out. The 6 is an absolute game changer. First run out of the box ran about: 30/mile faster than my usual slog without trying to do so. My HR is commensurately higher, but my legs and body feel much easier. Just a tremendous shoe for forefoot or midfoot strikers- would not recommend for heel strikers. I am older and much slower than I used to be but I am enjoying runs more than I have in years.

Yes the heel collar is a little high but it does break in. I think it adds to the stability which is why I love the Pro's. I ran 3 marathons in the 4's and have had 4 pairs. I bought the 5's and they are great. I taped my heel on my 20 mile long runs and had no issues. They are slightly more stable than the 4's and that is what I want. A responsive marathon ready shoe that is stable and NO BLISTERS!!! I have tried every other brand and I do n't know whose feet they fit but Saucony is the GOAT for fit. I am running LA Marathon on Sunday and will be wearing these shoes. If I have any issues I will update the review but like I said I already did 20 miles a couple times during training and with a bit of tape or a band aid on the heel I had zero issues. I think they are broken in and wo n't have an issue but I will be cautious and tape the back of my heel. They also have extra foam at the connection between the upper and the midsole which I think will add to the durability of the shoe. I had issues with the 4's tearing at the upper and midsole( check review for 4's). Hopefully this change will add to durability. I also have the speed 5's and these are a bit snappier but the speeds are a good 2nd if you are budget conscious.

To be clear — all my original Skyward Xs were women ’s 10( I am a woman) but I went for the men ’s 9 for the very slight additional width and I find these more comfy. Loooooove the blue, too. I also use these more for everyday and walking because I ’ m on my feet all day rather than just running. I have a pair of the originals I use just for running and they are a little bulky as your primary runners. But I feel like I ’ m walking on a cloud with everyday wear.

I own the Clifton 10, Bondi 9, and the first Skyward X, and I must say this is probably the best Hoka pair I own. Very similar feel to the Asics Superblast 2 in my humble opinion. A little on the pricey side at$ 225, but well worth the comfort and performance.
