Switched to Zoom Fly when the first edition came out. The 6 is an absolute game changer. First run out of the box ran about: 30/mile faster than my usual slog without trying to do so. My HR is commensurately higher, but my legs and body feel much easier. Just a tremendous shoe for forefoot or midfoot strikers- would not recommend for heel strikers. I am older and much slower than I used to be but I am enjoying runs more than I have in years.

At the start of August, I had a sore knee, but since my son wanted to participate in a race, I used KT Tape to support my knee and completed the half marathon of this race. Despite the knee discomfort, I noticed that the shoes seemed to enhance my speed. Remarkably, I achieved a 6: 25/mi pace for a half marathon for the first time in 2024, using the Nike AF3 during the Catherine Creek Classic on August 3, 2024( you can view more details on my Strava page- athlete# 59684519). The AF3s demonstrated exceptional performance and comfort throughout the race, even for my wider feet. The color options are impressive, especially the green and purple variants. Although the price is quite high and I 've noticed the outsole wears out faster than other models I ’ ve used, I believe the performance justifies the cost. I would n't necessarily use the AF3 shoes as my daily running shoes but would be my go- to kicks for races.

The Nike Alphafly 3 ’s are extremely responsive and have the best energy return out of every stride compared to the competition. I would recommend to people making this investment to go a half size up. I am a true size 10 in Nike shoes( I generally run in the Nike Pegasus Line for reference), but the Alphafly ’s in the Pink/Purple color- way at least do run smaller compared to most Nike models. I have tried on a pair of size 10. 5 Alphafly and they fit more like a true to size 10 Nike running shoe. Overall, these are awesome shoes and are the best marathon shoes on market!

For a highly active high school student who spends a lot of time on their feet, these Pegasus 41's are incredible. I originally had worries about them becoming soft, like my shoes from last year, but they are still( comfortably) firm. I have the Pegasus LV8, not the white ones, and they do get a lot of compliments and they are also very hard to lose, but I think that may be partial to the LV8 in the hard to lose point( LV8 are the bright yellow). Highly recommend these shoes, 10/10!

These just arrived, so only have had them for a few days now and they are noticeably lighter than the Zoom Fly 5. I have had 4 pairs of Zoom Fly 5's and they have been great running shoes. The Zoom Fly 6 feels more stable in stride and when walking, I really like that Nike has reduced the size of the heel from the protruding heel on the Zoom Fly 5, that to me is why the new 6 feels more stable. The appearance of the shoe looks great. The bottom has also been updated, I think the traction is slightly better than the 5 and so far I have not encountered the `` suction '' noise the 5's had on smooth floors. So far, so good, looking forward to seeing how many miles these can take!

I am a men's size 8, but I got a size 9 for the extra space and I chose correctly. Also, the color is great if you want to stand out while running in these shoes. I have taken the shoes out for a 12- mile run and a 23- mile run and they are extremely comfortable on my feet. Overall, fantastic shoes for the price. [ Negatives: When making sharper turns, I felt that there was a lack of balance. It is possible that it is due to the stack height or the RapidRoll rocker geometries. I say this because propelling forward felt very smooth, but when it came to turns, I still felt pushed forward so balancing was harder. Use: Tempo runs, fartleks, race pace workouts, time trials Performance: They performed extremely well. After each step, I felt more power and spring in my legs. Faster paces felt easier. Not only did I feel great, I ran great too. I ran a new PR in the mile by 11 seconds. At the end of each run in the Hyperion Elite 6, my legs did not feel full of lactic acid or super fatigued. Features: The new carbon fiber SpeedVault+ plate really did it's job! That and the nitrogen – infused DNA GOLD cushioning which made the shoes feel super light and airy paired well together very nicely. Fit& Sizing: The shoe did feel true to size. When I tightened the laces, my foot was very snug. There was a very fine line between it feeling loose and extra tight, but once I found it, the shoe felt fine.

[ I do n't often use high end carbon plated race shoes because they do n't typically work well for me. I have a history of PF in my right foot that I have learned to manage and the Hyperion Elite 6 does n't feel as stiff as other carbon plated race shoes I 've used in a good way. It's definitely a shoe I 'll use for long runs, tempo sessions, and VO2max sessions. I 've even taken it on easy days and it manages to feel good for those slow efforts. I love the pads around the ankle that give you solid lockdown. I did n't have a lot of confidence in the upper when I looked at how thin and minimal it was but the durability has held up for me. It's also a great looking shoe.

[ The Brooks Hyperion Elite 6 is incredible. I ’ ve used them for a few workouts so far and it felt like flying. The cushioning combined with the speedvault+ plate, rocker, and light weight of the shoe are made for peak performance. I noticed a quicker snappier leg turnover and more efficient stride even just compared to the Hyperion max. One of the best parts is even after harder efforts, it felt easier to recover. The upper appears to be very minimal but it was surprisingly super secure. The shoe fits perfectly and true to size. Very excited to race in these!

The Adios 9 was the most similar lower- stack pair I could find, and after 1. 5 months running in them, they 're great. I wear the same size I 've always worn in Adidas( 8. 5) and they are true to size. The forefoot foam has great rebound and has improved my running times. The sole definitely feels mushy laterally since this shoe does n't have much stability support, but I 'm a long- time runner and have n't had any problems with my knees or ankles since making the switch. I did get a small blister on my right heel initially, but lace locked that shoe and have n't had problems since. I 've run in it from my daily 3. 5- 4 mile runs to longer 13- milers on weekends. If you 're looking for a neutral, lower- stack, very lightweight shoe, you 've found it!

I just finished my 10- mile morning run. I really enjoy the Pro 5. I could feel the difference: super lightweight and stable. The greater firmness provides more stability, and I was able to run faster. The sole is intact. I 've read and watched videos about complaints, but the problem is n't the shoes. The problem is that we have different foot types, shapes, and strides. Underpronator, supinated, overpronator, or Heel striker. In my case, I have a neutral gait: my weight is distributed evenly from heel to toe, which gives me greater stability. I have never had problems with my knees, hips, Achilles tendons, calves, etc. I have worn various brands, but Adidas offers the best stability, comfort, and speed. I do use other brands and models occasionally, just to add variety to my training.

I had no issues with wear or comfort, and the stability was excellent throughout the entire race, especially on a course with both significant downhill and uphill sections.
