[ I hike and walk my dog in the woods and I walk through rivers and streams a lot. I need shoes that: 1) Are supportive enough to actually hike in-- and 2) I can walk through and INTO muddy, rocky rivers and streams in( usually chasing my dog)-- and 3) Then keep hiking-- and 4) Have them dry overnight or faster so I can wear them again. It has been SOOO difficult to find these. `` Water Sandals '' are not supportive enough to hike in and THEY HURT, and are so open that all sorts of rocks and stones get into them and under your feet, and those rigid straps give me blisters. Standard `` waterproof '' shoes still let water in at the top if you actually submerge your feet-- and I do-- and get soaked from the inside out. And then take DAYS to dry. These shoes are closed with mesh( no rocks and stones getting in) and are MEANT TO GET WET and then dry quickly. And they actually are soft, and do n't give me blisters even without socks and everything gives me blisters!! WHY were these so hard to find? I would give 10 stars if I could, and have SERIOUSLY tried and tried to find shoes like these. You wo n't find them anywhere else( which I do n't understand).

The style is great and I will also wear them for low impact workouts. The fact that they are water proof and dry quickly is a bonus. I wash all my work- out shoes and air dry them. Tried ordering these shoes directly from Oncloud. They ended up sending me a completely different shoe in size 9. I had to jump through hoops sending them pictures, taking them to the drop off location they chose because they wouldn ’ t refund until they got the shoes back. It took over 2 weeks before they even issues my refund. Once I got the money back I came straight to Dicks to get the shoes I originally ordered. [ I bought these when my old boots finally fell apart. I actually bought a number of different boots to try them on and these topped the bunch in terms of fit and weight. So I returned the others and the next test was how these operated in use and the passed with flying colors. I picked a 2. 5mile hike in that had varied terrain from gravel to lots of rocks to a fair bit of scrambling to get to the good holes. These performed very well. The soles are stiff enough to support walking across the rocky bottom and not risk an ankle but supple enough to feel the terrain and grippy enough to feel secure and not slip. I noticed the weight( or lack thereof) after 7 hours of hiking, fishing, exploring- my legs and feet felt great. They shed mud and silt very well and finally they dried quickly. I 'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this boot to anyone looking.

If you ’ ve worn other Reef sandals, these run true to your Reef size. I ’ m usually a 7. 5 in Nike and most other shoes and have to go down 1/2 a size in Reef sandals.
