[ I bought a couple of 60 cm slings for sport climbing quick draws, and they ’ ve been working out well. The nylon is thick, abrasion resistant, super bomber, and I feel comfortable taking a lead fall on them. The nylon used gives stretches a little, putting more dynamic parts into the climbing equation and giving you a( very) slightly softer fall. Since the slings are wider than usual, I use sport quick draw carabiners so that the sling lays flat in the end of the carabiner. These slings are excellent at giving you a sense of comfort while taking lead falls on them.

It's a nylon belt but it's shiny texture makes it acceptable for business casual wear and it's buckle does not look Tactical at all. So far this is a great harness, bigger and better than the Big Gun. Hanging in it for several hours at a time it ’s more comfortable than the previous BD big wall harness. I like that it does not have double stacked gear loops, making gear access easier. The addition of ice clipper slots is a nice addition, and makes convenient storage for awkward items. The modern speed buckle is a mixed bag for my use, but overall a positive change. I use this for bolt replacement work, and think it ’s great! Lots of hanging with lots of tools and faff, and this harness is a step up from other harnesses I ’ ve used.
