[ Bought this as a summer big wall bag for warmer nights. Works great, feels durable. Opens up nicely to allow for even cooler sleeping. Can ’ t comment on durability as I ’ ve only used it a handful of times but for the price it seems like a great option. Fit my Nemo mummy sleeping pad inside the bag perfectly.

All my sleeping bags are made by Marmot, and they span the different seasons we have in Alaska. This bag is colorful and the new improvement is the fishtail you can unzip and move around in. Its down so its light but lofty. The zippers on my bags do not snag and the down stays in the bag and not falling out at the baffles. Just really well made and comfortable. If you buy a Marmot bag or two you will probabley never switch to another brand. My bags need to not fail me at 45 degrees and much more crucially at- 20F, and I have never had any problems with Marmot bags. They are reasonable in price for such a good investment. No regrets ever with choosing Marmot. It may not be Always Summer in Alaska, but in this bright and citrusy bag you will want it to be.

[ Great bag. Had it out in Death vally with low's around 50 and it was perfect. Roomy and the foot box extension was great. Really like the construction and 2 side zips. I run hot so an option to fully open the footbox would be great and side zippers could be a few inches longer but love the bag for warmer weather camping. Went great in my Marmot tent!

I bought this for my daughter ’s school camping trip for the the last week of April so it was still relatively cold at night and early morning hours in the mountains of California. The Wawona is a nice looking, well- constructed double sleeping bag. In mild temperatures, I was warm but never too warm. Internal fabric is comfortable against the skin. The bag rolls up reasonably easy into the stuff sack with just a minor amount of stuffing into the sack. I would love to see The North Face make a winter version of this bag.

I bought a double sleeping bag for our camper. It's warm enough for summer mountain camping and I love it so it's easy to roll out of in the morning. Beautiful color, good quality. Just use it for one person and my two cocker spaniels, it's perfect.

Bought this for a weekend camping trip in Georgia where the forecast temps were going to be in the upper 20's or low 30's, and all we owned previously were 50 degree bags. Kept us very warm once the bag began to capture all your heat. I am about 5'10 '' and do wish the extended version would have been available. Only question I have is where did they put this `` technology pocket '' pictured in the product sales literature? Sounds like a great idea, but I looked all over my bag(s) and never found one. Oh well.

cannondale_25
We bought these bags on a whim for a Boy Scout Family Camping Weekend here in Georgia where the overnight lows were going to be in the mid- 30's- and the bags we already owned were only rated for the 50's. No complaints on the warmth. I will admit that I was wearing a couple layers of thin base layer clothing, but once I jumped in that bag I was nice and cozy all night long! I 'm about 5'10 '' tall, and I think if our store would have had the long bag in stock I would have bought it for the extra 6 '' of length. 6 foot was long enough though for me to get the hoodie on and not feel cramped. I need to look again, but I still have n't found the `` device pouch '' mentioned in the features. Buy this bag- you wo n't be disappointed for the price- and Kelty is a great name! We have their tents, and always a great value for what you receive.

[ I bought this for future, unknown trips. My nephew immediately took it out of the box and got into it. He looked so comfy I decided to try it in my bed and now I just love it and sleep with it. It OPENS on the bottom to stick your feet out. This is why I bought it. I ca n't stand sleeping without sticking my feet out to breathe lol. So, it has n't even made it outdoors yet but the quality and comfort is excellent. I bought it used on the site and it was in excellent condition as described. Has a very nice packing bag as well with straps. This is why outdoor equipment is worth paying a premium; you really get what you pay for and I highly recommend the brand.

[ Great spring and summer bag! Super soft down and silky fabric. I love the zippers to vent, especially when my feet get hot, I can open the bottom and keep warm up top. High quality zippers with extra fill around them to prevent snags and drafts. Love it! Mesh storage bag is a nice addition, but it could be bigger.

[ I ’ m a 6 ’ 1 ” 195lbs man and wasn ’ t sure if I wanted the regular or long version. I went with the long and boy am I happy with it. I was just doing some winter camping and this bag is kinda like crawling into a hot tub made of down pillows. It ’s great! That night was 5 degrees with solid 15 mph gusts so easily below 0. I was snug as a bug. Quite happy with it! Yea the long size gives me the extra room as I ’ m mostly a side sleeper that likes to pull the extra around my head. [ Purchased this bag for shoulder season backpacking in Colorado. I used it for the firsttime last weekend. Night time temps got down to around 28F and this bag kept me toasty and feeling warm all through the night. It is incredibly light weight considering the fill and has a nice feel to the material. The only thing I would change is to have the secondary foot zipper extend further into the foot box area. It does n't expel heat fast enough if you run warm.

[ Bought one for each of my family members( including me) and while we haven ’ t yet gone camping with them yet, we have all hung out in the living room “ camping ” and I have to say it ’s remarkably comfortable AND allows you to sleep on your side without feeling totally trapped. The flap up top could potentially get annoying but you can just fold it under and I suspect on cold nights it ’ ll be very useful.

[ I ’ m in the Military and I ’ ve replaced my Woobie with the Nanowave bag 4 years ago. Its ability to pack into my Ruck and cut the crisp edge off the cold is superb. I ’ ve been using the Questar™ 20F/- 6C Sleeping Bag on several camping trips now, and it has exceeded my expectations every time. The warmth and comfort it provides, even in colder conditions, are impressive. The fit is cozy without feeling restrictive, and the materials feel high- quality and durable. One feature that stood out to me is the SynergyLink™ connectors, which kept the bag securely in place on my sleeping pad throughout the night, preventing any cold spots. I also appreciate the ThermoCapture™ lining that effectively reflects body heat, making this bag a true lifesaver on colder nights. Setting it up and packing it away is a breeze, and it compresses well for easy storage in my backpack. Whether I ’ m car camping or backpacking, this bag has become my go- to for any adventure where I need reliable warmth and comfort.

[ COMFORT: First off let me state that this bag is not made of some super thin sticky nylon like some ultralight bags are. This very soft to the touch and extremely comfortable. I actually prefer the way it feels to my actual bed at home that we have spent thousands on. The bag lofts up nice and thick and looks very inviting and actually makes you excited to snuggle down in it for sleep. In addition, the bag is very roomy. It doesn ’ t feel constricting like typical mummy bags. If you are a side sleeper or toss and turn I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU GET THE LONG VERSION of this bag even if you don ’ t need it for height. The main reason is that the long version of this bag is also wider in the foot box than the regular length. This provides quite a bit more comfort for those of us who move around a lot at night. Even though the long bag says it ’s for 6 ’ 6 ” people I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ” and this allows me to snuggle down into the bag and pull it over my head for warmth as well as leaving me the option to store gear in the bottom to prevent it from freezing. Had I got the regular length it would have forced me to sleep with my head outside exposed and left no room in the foot box. TEMPERATURE RATING TEST: It ’s October now and we recently had some cooler weather move in for a couple of days so I used it as an opportunity to test the bag and my new sleep pad. According to accuweather temps dipped down to 40*. I slept outside on our deck to test this bag. First I laid down a thin blanket to prevent any damage to my thermarest from splinters or such. Next was my thermarest neo- air xlite. Finally, this bag which is comfort rated to 32* when you wear appropriate base layers. As stated above, the temps supposedly dipped down to 40* and I chose to wear nothing but my boxer briefs as I figured if I stayed warm then I should have no problem staying warm to 32* with wool base layers as the rating suggest. I can confirm that the bag worked great. No issues whatsoever. I slept all night in the bag and never got cold. Starting off the night when it was around 48* I was actually too hot and had to unzip the bag. At about 7am when temps were at their low I stayed zipped inside but stayed comfortable. The biggest surprise to me was that I didn ’ t get cold feet. I don ’ t think I have ever slept outside and not got cold feet. And this is while wearing thick wool socks. Often 2 pair of them! In this sleeping bag I wore no socks at all and my feet stayed warm. This was a pleasant surprise. I now have no worries as winter progresses that this bag will do just fine in lower temps so long as I wear appropriate clothing as suggested. CONCLUSION: In conclusion, if you like to move around at night and don ’ t like a typical mummy bag this is the one you should get. It ’s very roomy and never once did I feel confined. I rolled and tossed all over the place and stayed warm and cozy. I spent hours searching for something lighter and while you may find something a few ounces lighter than this bag it will cost twice as much and will be about a foot narrower in the foot box. I hope thermarest never stops making these bags. I want to save up for the 0* version now for those really cold nights. I now have a thermarest xlite pad, this thermarest sleeping bag, and a thermarest pillow and none of them have disappointed me. At this point I don ’ t think I would hesitate to buy anything thermarest offers if I needed it because it ’s clear their gear is well thought out and quality made.

This sleeping bag is awesome! The color is beautiful, and it's cozy, lightweight, and perfect for cooler nights. The 20- degree rating kept me warm, even when the temperature dropped, and the synthetic fill is soft without being bulky. [ I adore this sleeping bag. I have taken it on one practice trip before a long backpacking trip, and I was very comfortable in about 50 without lots of layers. I love that you can stick your arms and feet out, or even start your morning as a little coffee- drinking caterpillar if it's dry outside. Unfortunately, it poured on our first camping trip, and the bag got a little damp( heartbreak!), but it dried very quickly when I laid it out. No problems so far!

I 'm travelling around the country, having left in mid November. I headed North first, through West Virginia and Ohio, and this bag kept me plenty warm even down in the 20's sleeping in either my car or at a campsite. I even woke up sweating from being too hot some nights. Now in Illinois& snowing, so had to move to motels until I get South again. Many bags profess to be good in low temps, but I believe this one lives up to its word!

Cozy and warm. No room if you want to bring in your boot liners. Pretty tight for a big guy( across the shoulders) and similarly tough to get into the bag with the short zipper. Beautiful bag and super compressible.

[ Note: I have not field tested this bag, but tried it at home and have three other sleeping bags: a WM 5 degree, MH 15 degree, and another Marmot Phase 15. I was excited to try this, as have always loved the Marmot bags for quality and warmth. I 'm a stomach sleeper, and the idea of having a central zip for ease of in/out and minimal zipper appealed to me. However, although the bag is incredibly warm, the zipper is too short for any real venting, and no foot box zipper or venting. This contributes to it's exceedingly warm ration, but I decided that for the price, I would pass and keep my other Marmot side zippered bag. If you want a very warm, well made bag and do n't mind the short central zipper, and no ability to really vent the bag( i. e., a longer central zipper at least), then by all means get this!

[ This is a great 3 season bag! Light and packable for a synthetic. Very roomy. At six feet tall, 180 pounds, 34 waist, large hips and broad shoulders, I had plenty of room to sleep on my back and side. I had no problem with length even with my air pillow tucked into the hood. The temperature rating on the bag felt good in 30°F weather, keeping me nice and warm, paired with a sleeping pad rated at 4. 1 R value. A nice soft feel and glow in the dark zipper pulls are also good bonuses.

I purchased 2 of the Nanowave 25 ’s and put them to the test in mid 30 degree weather with no additional blankets or sleeping bag liner. Impressed! Is all I will say! I took this bag with me for a climbing trip down in bishop. The long bag is the perfect length for me( I 'm 6' 1) and provides plenty of width in essential areas like the shoulders and leg area. Temperatures on my trip gradually decreased as my trip went on, starting at 30- degree nights and dropping down to 18- degree nights towards the end of the trip. I would say the comfortability range is around the 27 to 30- degree mark. Once it dropped below 25, I started to get a little colder. If you want to use this bag in sub- 30- degree weather, I would recommend a fleece and a hoodie to make it a more comfortable night. Overall, this is a great bag and it did not disappoint. The tech specs advertised were pretty spot on as far as temperature rating. If you 're looking for a good sleeping bag for an affordable price, this is the one.

[ Have n't had a chance to use this on the trail yet dbut seems like a good compromise between weight and cost for a synthetic bag. Stuffs small enough to fit in the bag pocket of my pack. Zippers up smoothly and didnt have any problem with snagging. Will be a nice cold spring/fall bag for me and looking forward to using it. Already recommended this bag to buddies.

After hours of research, I decided on and purchased the Nemo Tempo 20 men ’s regular spoon sleeping bag specifically for our trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks as we car camped for 5 nights. While it was mid- May, night temps can drop into the low 30 ’s. Admittedly, I made my purchase from a third party, as I was skeptical about the quality and warmth factor. I am a 5 ’ 8 ” woman and wanted to be sure I had enough length to be comfortable so I opted for the men ’s Tempo. The fit was great and it was very comfortable. Didn ’ t bind or twist when I repositioned throughout the night. But the most important thing is it kept me very warm. Nighttime temps dipped into mid- 30 ’s. I only wore base layer leggings and top, no socks and my feet stayed toasty warm. In fact, I got so warm that I had to unzip the bag to regulate my body temp. It is well made and performs as advertised. It exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend Nemo Tempo 20!

[ I brought this sleeping bag with me on my thru- hike of the Pacific Crest Trail last summer. I slept in it for 150 nights and never let me down! Great balance between weight, warmth, and price. However, I found it very narrow. I like to sleep with my legs forming a figure 4 shape, but it was impossible to do in this bag. I also rotate like a rotisserie chicken during the night and I got tangled in it a few times. A little bit cold when temperatures drop towards 0°C, especially when the bottom of the bag is exposed, as it is less insulated than the top. I had to wear my puffy for those nights or wrap it around my bum to keep it warm. Finally, I found it a bit bulky but it is overall a great product! I would recommend it to thru- hikers on a budget or anyone going on shorter trips.

[ I was n't sure how this bag would work out, but so far it's super. It really is designed as described. It's quite roomy, allows one to turn and side sleep and is definitely warm enough. The best part is that my Standard Manchester Terriers( one or both) can snuggle in as well. That was the whole point of the purchase. [ I finally got out camping this past weekend in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Overnight lows were 32 degrees. I did also use a sleeping bag liner because I was afraid I might be cold. But I was very comfortable all night long. I actually stayed in the tent from 9PM to 9AM.

[ I 'm a side sleeper so this for sure caught my attention. I have n't used it out on the trail yet but from testing around the house, it appears to be a great buy. Super comfy, nice and light, feels very warm and just a quality overall product. The only knock from a 5- star review right now is it does feel a bit snug. [ This bag has gone on 2 weekend backpackers and a 1 week campground excursion so far. It has been leaking more feathers than expected...

[ I 've had my Kelty Galactic 30 for 5 years, and just bought a pair for my son and his wife. In my opinion this is the best bang for your buck in a sleeping bag for backpacking or camping. Packs small, lightweight, and reasonable price. It has a lot of loft and is very cozy. I sleep comfortably in it down to 40 degrees and add a liner to get to the mid- 30's, so it serves me well 3 seasons. I 've thrown it in the washer and dryer several times- just shake it out well and it regains its loft. Highly recommended!

[ Have taken this bag camping twice. First time had mild night temps in the 40s and was never chilled; opening the bag a bit solved any overheating. Just got back from the second outing where the temps unexpectedly dropped to 19F. There was frost in the tent and on the bag but I was completely warm and dry. Plenty of room inside, though I could use a little less length, as my feet sometimes get chilly because I ’ m so short I can ’ t reach the bottom of the bag to warm it up. Great shoulder season bag. [ I absolutely dig this Basecamp bag. This bag is of great quality. I recently went on a 3 night camping trip. I have a 4runner that I am able to sleep in with plenty of room so I got the Basecamp bag to use in it. The bag is very big with plenty of wiggle room, which is important to me since I flip and flopp around at night. There is also space for the next days clothes I can keep in the bag. The zippers allow for the bag to open in various configurations.- 1°c and I was toasty warm. P.s. I sleep with two windows open that i mesh over for that fresh air feeling.

[ Awesome bag. Super roomy. I like the strap attachments for my sleeping pad. It keeps it flat. I can roll around without getting tangled. I love the ability to open it on either side and the bottom to vent if I get warm. I have slept in it around 30 degrees amd in the 50's and was super comfortable. I have n't opened it to quilt yet, but maybe this will put my summer bag to rest. It packs down nice, considering how wide it is. The down is lofty and has no smell. No regrets.

I purchased this sleeping bag to use when winter camping with my scout troop. It has worked well on our trips when the temperatures were in the 20 ’s and 30 ’s at night. It repelled the snow/water well and kept me dry inside. It seems more roomy than other mummy bags I have used in the past. I have room to add a liner and blanket if needed. It fits well on my pack. [ This sleeping bag is so comfortable! It feels like you ’ re sleeping on clouds. It is very durable, and packs down very small. I went to a hotel and slept with this on top of the bed bc I hate hotel blankets, and I ’ ve also used this camping. It ’s so versatile!

[ I live in the desert, so this was perfect to test drive in 72°F Las Vegas weather. I wasn ’ t too hot or too cold, this sleeping bag is lightweight and durable. My only complaint, would be I am 5 ’ 10 tall, I didn ’ t have a lot of wiggle room. This thing is perfect for on- the- go and a good night ’s sleep wherever you are!

[ Honestly never been excited for a sleeping bad in my life but this one is amazing! It ’s heavy and very warm. Definitely recommend any Coleman sleeping bag! Sorry it ’s not the best picture, kids had it out for a sleep over it ’s the only pic I got of it before putting it away.

[ I recently got my hands on a sleeping bag that's not only a dream to snuggle up in but also boasts some seriously cool eco- friendly features. The shell, liner, and Ecotherm™ fill are all made from 100% postconsumer recycled polyester, making it a win for both comfort and sustainability.

[ Though I have n't used it for a full cold weather camping night yet, I can tell this material will do very well in a sleeping bag. It is soft and frictionless, making it very comfortable even against bare skin. It is also moisture wicking and dries very fast, which is nice for this type of application. Since I own some pretty pricey sleeping bags, I 'm happy to have this liner to help preserve and protect them. It is very well made and a great design. Folds into a very compact bag for travel and storage

[ This sleeping bag liner is a handy thing. It's thin and soft. Large enough for my almost 6ft husband to fit into with room the spare. This would be good to have for almost any season camping.

[ It ’s a huge upgrade from the typical synthetic bag most grow up with camping. Highly recommend if you ’ re looking to get into a down bag without breaking the bank.

[ I was looking for a lightweight down mummy bag for spring/summer camping. Budget was pretty tight so stayed away from the Big Agnes etc. This bag is perfect down to about 35 degrees F. I suggest having a small blanket as well. Packs super small and looks good.

[ This I have bought for general camping in Texas area camps, and also planning to use this during Summertime in the Grand Canyon. This is very light weight and suitable for backpacking which is the biggest advantage.

[ Super soft material after a wash, used with the Ember Quilt mostly as a way to keep the quilt clean. Also used in hostel rooms alone and was plenty warm if you ’ re a warm sleeper like me.
