Used the bag for a fall hunt in the Brooks Range, Alaska- 150 mile north of the Arctic Circle. It was warm and comfortable. Night time temps were in the low teens to maybe single digits and I was always comfortable, never wanting for more. The arm holes are nice for reading.

[ Used on an overnight in Feb. on Mount Washington, NH. Temp- 10 F, wind 50- 60 mph. Bag kept me warm. Wish I could have used arm holes, but it was too cold! This bag did the job, and ca n't wait to continue to put it through its paces. Got the long to keep my single- lined boots in the bag with me at night. At 5' 9 '', still had plenty of room.

[ I bought this bag for an expedition north of the Arctic Circle, but I have n't left yet. Despite this, I tested the warmth of the bag as well as I could on a- 9F night and was quite comfortable all night. Normally I sleep pretty cold, so I 'm very confident that it will serve my needs in the Northwest Territories next week.

[ I ’ m a 6 ’ 1 ” 195lbs man and wasn ’ t sure if I wanted the regular or long version. I went with the long and boy am I happy with it. I was just doing some winter camping and this bag is kinda like crawling into a hot tub made of down pillows. It ’s great! That night was 5 degrees with solid 15 mph gusts so easily below 0. I was snug as a bug. Quite happy with it! Yea the long size gives me the extra room as I ’ m mostly a side sleeper that likes to pull the extra around my head. I ’ ve tried the regular size and it felt a bit too constricting. 5 star great sleeping bag

[ Best purchase ever! I bought this for the COLD fall nights backpacking in Glacier Park, and it did not disappoint. Keeps me toasty warm. I love the light weight, and it packs down fairly small. The baffles and extra down in the hood are great touches. Would 100 percent recommend this sleeping bag.

[ This is a great 3 season bag! Light and packable for a synthetic. Very roomy. At six feet tall, 180 pounds, 34 waist, large hips and broad shoulders, I had plenty of room to sleep on my back and side. I had no problem with length even with my air pillow tucked into the hood. The temperature rating on the bag felt good in 30°F weather, keeping me nice and warm, paired with a sleeping pad rated at 4. 1 R value. A nice soft feel and glow in the dark zipper pulls are also good bonuses.

I purchased 2 of the Nanowave 25 ’s and put them to the test in mid 30 degree weather with no additional blankets or sleeping bag liner. Impressed! Is all I will say! [ I bought this bag for tent and car camping in down to 30s temps. My 650 down fill bag did not cut it for me, so I went for the 800 Dridown bag. I am so glad I did! I 'm an athletic built 5' 4 ''( 120 lb) female, 65 y/o and this bag is perfect fit for me. I like the extra room at the feet. I have room to roll on my side if I wish.# 1, It's as warm as my 800 down fill coat and stays puffy because of the small percentage of added fill. I have n't tested it, but it's the small portion of polyester fill that makes this bag dryer than a full down bag. I found out how important it is for the bag to dry out after sleeping in a rain soaked tent which is reason# 2 for buying this great Kelty bag. This is a fantastic bag all around. The zippers work very well and have a protective ledge to run on so they do n't snag in either direction. The head piece cinches well around my head, if needed. It even comes with a stuff sack made of similar material. My only wish is that it came with a mesh storage sack. Otherwise, this is a perfect and dreamy bag!

[ Used this in the Tetons for a couple weeks, mid- end of September. Temps at night were anywhere from upper 20s to upper 30s. I never got cold. It weighed 2lbs, 6oz like advertised. Stuff sack is bigger than it needs to be-- which is really nice to get it in the bag without struggle.( There were nights I used a Cocoon silk liner but that made it too warm.)

[ This bag is so cozy and the color is beautiful. The zippers on both sides are such a great thing for me as I typically sleep facing the opposite side the zippers are on other bags and my dog crawls in to sleep inside with me. There ’s plenty of room for her to do that with this bag also. We took it on our first adventure backpacking to a fire tower overnight and it was plenty warm in the 20s with my liner, wearing just a base layer. I can ’ t wait to take it on more adventures when the weather warms up and see how it holds up but I ’ m already very happy with the purchase!

Blake M.
[ The sleeping bag is made well, very comfy feels cozy, and not noisy. The width was great and not too snug sleeping in undergarments but would have been crowded with heavy sleepwear. I wish I would ’ ve ordered a longer and colder bag. Sleeping Id roll further into the bag and the foot box was cramped lengthwise( im 5 ’ 6 ”). I did not attempt to use the bag solo nor would I because it was so cold, icy,& damp. I used a liner( game changer!) and a secondary sleeping bag unzipped on top as a blanket.

Wow, I went from a summer flannel sleeping bag that I would freeze in to a cascade of down comfort comparable to nothing you could possibly imagine. I 'm is awe as a first time user. It takes a while to wrap your head around the price, but once you jump in, there is no turning back. I highly recommend! I also purchased a liner that can be used alone or with the down bag.

[ Purchased this bag for shoulder season backpacking in Colorado. I used it for the firsttime last weekend. Night time temps got down to around 28F and this bag kept me toasty and feeling warm all through the night. It is incredibly light weight considering the fill and has a nice feel to the material. The only thing I would change is to have the secondary foot zipper extend further into the foot box area. It does n't expel heat fast enough if you run warm.

I ’ ve been using the Questar™ 20F/- 6C Sleeping Bag on several camping trips now, and it has exceeded my expectations every time. The warmth and comfort it provides, even in colder conditions, are impressive. The fit is cozy without feeling restrictive, and the materials feel high- quality and durable. One feature that stood out to me is the SynergyLink™ connectors, which kept the bag securely in place on my sleeping pad throughout the night, preventing any cold spots. I also appreciate the ThermoCapture™ lining that effectively reflects body heat, making this bag a true lifesaver on colder nights. Setting it up and packing it away is a breeze, and it compresses well for easy storage in my backpack. Whether I ’ m car camping or backpacking, this bag has become my go- to for any adventure where I need reliable warmth and comfort.

[ COMFORT: First off let me state that this bag is not made of some super thin sticky nylon like some ultralight bags are. This very soft to the touch and extremely comfortable. I actually prefer the way it feels to my actual bed at home that we have spent thousands on. The bag lofts up nice and thick and looks very inviting and actually makes you excited to snuggle down in it for sleep. In addition, the bag is very roomy. It doesn ’ t feel constricting like typical mummy bags. If you are a side sleeper or toss and turn I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU GET THE LONG VERSION of this bag even if you don ’ t need it for height. The main reason is that the long version of this bag is also wider in the foot box than the regular length. This provides quite a bit more comfort for those of us who move around a lot at night. Even though the long bag says it ’s for 6 ’ 6 ” people I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ” and this allows me to snuggle down into the bag and pull it over my head for warmth as well as leaving me the option to store gear in the bottom to prevent it from freezing. Had I got the regular length it would have forced me to sleep with my head outside exposed and left no room in the foot box. TEMPERATURE RATING TEST: It ’s October now and we recently had some cooler weather move in for a couple of days so I used it as an opportunity to test the bag and my new sleep pad. According to accuweather temps dipped down to 40*. I slept outside on our deck to test this bag. First I laid down a thin blanket to prevent any damage to my thermarest from splinters or such. Next was my thermarest neo- air xlite. Finally, this bag which is comfort rated to 32* when you wear appropriate base layers. As stated above, the temps supposedly dipped down to 40* and I chose to wear nothing but my boxer briefs as I figured if I stayed warm then I should have no problem staying warm to 32* with wool base layers as the rating suggest. I can confirm that the bag worked great. No issues whatsoever. I slept all night in the bag and never got cold. Starting off the night when it was around 48* I was actually too hot and had to unzip the bag. At about 7am when temps were at their low I stayed zipped inside but stayed comfortable. The biggest surprise to me was that I didn ’ t get cold feet. I don ’ t think I have ever slept outside and not got cold feet. And this is while wearing thick wool socks. Often 2 pair of them! In this sleeping bag I wore no socks at all and my feet stayed warm. This was a pleasant surprise. I now have no worries as winter progresses that this bag will do just fine in lower temps so long as I wear appropriate clothing as suggested. CONCLUSION: In conclusion, if you like to move around at night and don ’ t like a typical mummy bag this is the one you should get. It ’s very roomy and never once did I feel confined. I rolled and tossed all over the place and stayed warm and cozy. I spent hours searching for something lighter and while you may find something a few ounces lighter than this bag it will cost twice as much and will be about a foot narrower in the foot box. I hope thermarest never stops making these bags. I want to save up for the 0* version now for those really cold nights. I now have a thermarest xlite pad, this thermarest sleeping bag, and a thermarest pillow and none of them have disappointed me. At this point I don ’ t think I would hesitate to buy anything thermarest offers if I needed it because it ’s clear their gear is well thought out and quality made.

[ Note: I have not field tested this bag, but tried it at home and have three other sleeping bags: a WM 5 degree, MH 15 degree, and another Marmot Phase 15. I was excited to try this, as have always loved the Marmot bags for quality and warmth. I 'm a stomach sleeper, and the idea of having a central zip for ease of in/out and minimal zipper appealed to me. However, although the bag is incredibly warm, the zipper is too short for any real venting, and no foot box zipper or venting. This contributes to it's exceedingly warm ration, but I decided that for the price, I would pass and keep my other Marmot side zippered bag. If you want a very warm, well made bag and do n't mind the short central zipper, and no ability to really vent the bag( i. e., a longer central zipper at least), then by all means get this!

[ I brought this sleeping bag with me on my thru- hike of the Pacific Crest Trail last summer. I slept in it for 150 nights and never let me down! Great balance between weight, warmth, and price. However, I found it very narrow. I like to sleep with my legs forming a figure 4 shape, but it was impossible to do in this bag. I also rotate like a rotisserie chicken during the night and I got tangled in it a few times. A little bit cold when temperatures drop towards 0°C, especially when the bottom of the bag is exposed, as it is less insulated than the top. I had to wear my puffy for those nights or wrap it around my bum to keep it warm. Finally, I found it a bit bulky but it is overall a great product! I would recommend it to thru- hikers on a budget or anyone going on shorter trips.

[ I was n't sure how this bag would work out, but so far it's super. It really is designed as described. It's quite roomy, allows one to turn and side sleep and is definitely warm enough. [ I 'm a side sleeper so this for sure caught my attention. I have n't used it out on the trail yet but from testing around the house, it appears to be a great buy. Super comfy, nice and light, feels very warm and just a quality overall product. The only knock from a 5- star review right now is it does feel a bit snug. [ Leveled up from my old synthetic sleeping bag to down and am super happy so far. It ’s so cozy and packs down small. I love that there ’s room for me to turn any which way and curl my legs up in this bag, it is much less constricting than a typical mummy bag. I did find that the bag didn ’ t really move with me the way I expected it to for side sleeping, so I found the hood section kind of in my way at some points. It wasn ’ t too cold so I just kept my head out and used that part as a pillow of sorts. I did also notice a bit of shedding of feathers and hope that will remain minimal over time. So far I ’ ve used it for two nights in about 40deg weather and was very warm.

[ I ’ m in the Military and I ’ ve replaced my Woobie with the Nanowave bag 4 years ago. Its ability to pack into my Ruck and cut the crisp edge off the cold is superb. I took this bag with me for a climbing trip down in bishop. The long bag is the perfect length for me( I 'm 6' 1) and provides plenty of width in essential areas like the shoulders and leg area. Temperatures on my trip gradually decreased as my trip went on, starting at 30- degree nights and dropping down to 18- degree nights towards the end of the trip. I would say the comfortability range is around the 27 to 30- degree mark. Once it dropped below 25, I started to get a little colder. If you want to use this bag in sub- 30- degree weather, I would recommend a fleece and a hoodie to make it a more comfortable night. Overall, this is a great bag and it did not disappoint. The tech specs advertised were pretty spot on as far as temperature rating. If you 're looking for a good sleeping bag for an affordable price, this is the one.

After hours of research, I decided on and purchased the Nemo Tempo 20 men ’s regular spoon sleeping bag specifically for our trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks as we car camped for 5 nights. While it was mid- May, night temps can drop into the low 30 ’s. Admittedly, I made my purchase from a third party, as I was skeptical about the quality and warmth factor. I am a 5 ’ 8 ” woman and wanted to be sure I had enough length to be comfortable so I opted for the men ’s Tempo. The fit was great and it was very comfortable. Didn ’ t bind or twist when I repositioned throughout the night. But the most important thing is it kept me very warm. Nighttime temps dipped into mid- 30 ’s. I only wore base layer leggings and top, no socks and my feet stayed toasty warm. In fact, I got so warm that I had to unzip the bag to regulate my body temp. It is well made and performs as advertised. It exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend Nemo Tempo 20!

I wanted something I could use during the early camping season in the high country and desert of the Four Corners Region and this works perfectly. I have a double wide 30 degree sleeping bag that I use and in the early spring it still gets cold in the lower mountains. Even in the desert there are cold nights and Im tired of sleeping in my skiing base layers these nights. I 've used this liner three times now and love it. The first time was in early April in the desert and it got down to 42 at night. I was very comfortable in the sleeping bag by myself with the liner on. It was a little difficult in the middle of the night when nature called but I managed. The second time I used this was around the end of April and beginning of May at an elevation of 7, 000 and lows of high 40's. Once again it worked great and was easier to use in the middle of the night. The key was to fully release the feet cord. The last time I used it was just a week ago in the desert with lows of mid 50's. This time I used my hammock& blankets along with the liner. I was warm and comfortable all night. Overall I love this liner and it meets all my needs for a comfortable nights sleep.

[ I 've had my Kelty Galactic 30 for 5 years, and just bought a pair for my son and his wife. In my opinion this is the best bang for your buck in a sleeping bag for backpacking or camping. Packs small, lightweight, and reasonable price. It has a lot of loft and is very cozy. I sleep comfortably in it down to 40 degrees and add a liner to get to the mid- 30's, so it serves me well 3 seasons. I 've thrown it in the washer and dryer several times- just shake it out well and it regains its loft. Highly recommended!

[ Bought this for an early October trip to the mountains. Temperatures were about 15 degrees in the middle of the night- I had a sweater and joggers on along this bag and I did not wake up once! Super cozy( as much as a mummy bag could be) and lightweight.
$129.00-$139.00

[ Have taken this bag camping twice. First time had mild night temps in the 40s and was never chilled; opening the bag a bit solved any overheating. Just got back from the second outing where the temps unexpectedly dropped to 19F. There was frost in the tent and on the bag but I was completely warm and dry. Plenty of room inside, though I could use a little less length, as my feet sometimes get chilly because I ’ m so short I can ’ t reach the bottom of the bag to warm it up. Great shoulder season bag. Very satisfied with this purchase.

[ Our daughter received this for Christmas and slept outside the same night. It was about 20 degrees Fahrenheit and she said she was toasty warm. She is 5 ’ 9 ” and said there was room for several more inches in the bag.

I purchased this sleeping bag to use when winter camping with my scout troop. It has worked well on our trips when the temperatures were in the 20 ’s and 30 ’s at night. It repelled the snow/water well and kept me dry inside. It seems more roomy than other mummy bags I have used in the past. I have room to add a liner and blanket if needed. It fits well on my pack. It seems well made and has held up better than by more previous more costly bag.

I bought this sleeping bag for my eleven year old to take on cold weather campouts with his Scout troop. So far he has only needed it once, but he said that the sleeping bag did it's job and kept him warm while sleeping. I would recommend to others.
