Love for light weight trips. Could use rub points to control sleeping bag slip.

Another great Therm- a- Rest sleeping pad for my Therm- a- Rest collection. I still have and use my first Therm- a- Rest sleeping pad. Never have had a problem with any Therm- a- Rest sleeping pad that I have. Jones in the woods

5 Gabe
I love my Therm- a- Rest trail pro! It stayed inflated all night long, was easy to inflate and deflate, packs down to a manageable size, and did its job as advertised. Would recommend!

5 Axel K.
I have one( Large) since around 12? years and used it in rough environment, long horse trips in Mongolia, on camp tours and with hiking. Never had a problem. Never lost air. Always comfortable and warm. One hint against slipping on a tent floor- use a thin,( 2- 3mm) small Evazote below and there are no problems any more. Same quality but thicker for deep winter tours would be welcome, but I already used it down to- 10°C w/o problems. Slightly higher weight and packing than Pro lite, but worth in colder environments. Please, keep this quality!

[ I bought this pad for use in trips to Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp. It fits the bill. The pad did not slide around as pads often do as I 'm a restless sleeper. I sleep on my side and there is enough cushioning to allow me to do so without poking my shoulder into the ground. It's a little bigger packed than I thought it would be but it's not heavy. Pad inflates as advertised. All in all a workable solution to that of sleeping on the ground.

Super Comfortable and light to pack! 100% recommend! Roughly the size of a Nalgene bottle and sets up pretty quick.

5 Nick D.
I have had this for maybe 4 years and it has been durable and comfortable for every use

5 Julio N.
Such a warm and lightweight pad, I think it outperforms similar R- rated pads

5 Rueben B.
I initially bought the Large size but returned it because it's a little too narrow. I got the X- Large size for the added width and I absolutely love this pad. I 'm 6' 2 '' and it's a perfect fit. Packs away easy and takes no time to inflate. The dual vent system is great too.

5 Brooks G.
I ’ ve had this pad for a few years now and have had no problems. The R- value is great for the colder nights. I enjoy the height of this pad as it allows me to adjust the stiffness/softness of the pad without me touching the ground. I would recommend this pad for backpacking as long as you can fit a pad that is around the size of a 32oz Nalgene bottle.

Superb Durability and Reliability in a Light/Small Package ... It was comfy, and it was comfy on the ground! ... For years I had the smallest version since it took up the least amount of space in a pack or suitcase, but I found it relatively uncomfortable since from the knees down I was on cold, hard ground( I 'm 5' 1). I finally got around to buying the regular size and WOW does that make all the difference in the world. I sleep so well when I 'm camping with this sleeping pad. My only complaint is now this one is like a foot too long! I wish there was a size in between small and regular, maybe a 65 inch or something.

5 Thebigjcp
Works great I just wish the stuff sack could be used to air it up.

5 Andrii
[ I purchased this for my son to use on a Cub Scout camping trip. He's 11 yo and he slept very comfortably. The only thing that was a little bit of a pain was deflating it enough to fit back in storage sack. I had to unroll it and re- roll tighter it a few times to get all the air out. However, the valve did come in handy for this process. A

5 Chan79
[ I bought this last month for my son as a birthday present. He's 13 and moving from a smaller child size pad. This worked great! He's in scouts so it will get used often. It compresses and rolls up compact for packing. It provides adequate cushion as well as some insulation from the ground temperature. Overall we 're happy.

5 (R.D.) S.
I 'm only looking at getting another one because of how long I 've owned it. It is the most comfortable pad I 've ever slept on. Leading me to believe it contains one inch of miracle foam. I would ask how has it survived me, I am amazed. Sign me, Happy Ole Guy

I just started overnight backpacking and sometimes I just don ’ t want to mess with an inflatable pad. This fits the bill, lightweight, easy set up, easy to carry, clean, can use as a sitting mat. Worth the convenience. Comfort will depend on the individual.

The Nemo Switchback sleeping pad has become a staple in my gear. It ’s perfect on its own for warmer, minimalist trips and pairs seamlessly with my Nemo Longbow Alpine for extra insulation in colder conditions. The closed- cell foam design is lightweight, durable, and surprisingly comfortable. I love how easy it is to pack.... whether strapped outside my pack or tucked inside. The accordion- style fold makes setup and breakdown a breeze. If you want a reliable, adaptable pad that balances comfort and packability, the Switchback is a top choice!

[ Exactly what you think you 're getting. Kept me toasty and was super cozy. The inflator bag works great. I think the pack weight and size are spot on.

5 SamW
[ I ordered this for my partner who thinks most sleeping pads are too small and not thick enough. We have n't had a chance to really put it through the wringer yet, but first impressions are good. It is easy to inflate with the bag. Generously sized and seems durable( we camp with dogs that climb all over the seeping pads and I always worry about their claws). It's maybe a bit bulky/heavy but for the price point and r rating I think it strikes an excellent balance.

5 Redrider620
[ I have the long wide version for solo trips and it facilitates the best sleep I can get while tent camping. Just picked up the double wide for trips with the wife. It is just as comfortable and even laying in the middle, by myself, on my side, the pad does not compress such that I touch the ground.

5 mmead
[ This sleeping pad is like a cloud. It's so soft and comfortable, you 'll never want to get out of your bag.( Unless you have to tinkle, of course.) But even then, you 'll be so reluctant to leave the warmth and coziness of this pad that you 'll probably just end up peeing in your bag.( Just kidding! Do n't do that.) This sleeping pad is also incredibly warm. It's perfect for those cold shoulder nights when you 're camping in Northern Michingan. You 'll be so warm and cozy that you 'll forget all about the cold weather outside. And this sleeping pad is also incredibly lightweight and packable. It's so easy to carry with you on your camping trips. You 'll never have to worry about lugging around a heavy, bulky sleeping pad again. So if you 're looking for a sleeping pad that's comfortable, warm, and lightweight, then this is the pad for you. It's the perfect sleeping pad for any camping trip, whether you 're camping in the mountains or at the beach. And if you 're looking for a sleeping pad that's also funny, then this is the pad for you too. Because this sleeping pad is so comfortable, you 'll be laughing all night long.( Just kidding! Or am I?)

5 MsH675
[ I tried the Big Agnes Divide the other night in the yard to test it out. Blows up easy with the bag or by mouth. The quick release button to express a little air for comfort is a great feature. [ If you want to sleep as soundly in the wild as you do at home, this is the pad for you! I ’ ve used the Comfort Plus Insulated for over 9 years and it has yet to fail me. You get longevity, the ultimate in customizable comfort for 3+ seasons in a small package. Some might fuss over the weight, but I ’ ve found that every gram of this sleeping pad is worth it. Level up and get the air chair to convert this incredible pad to a delightful wilderness recliner. While I ’ ve found quality with all Sea to Summit products, this one is especially top of the line. From sleeping on the floor at the grandparents, to van life shenanigans, to the duck blind, to backpacking the Rockies this pad outworks all others and has been a constant comfy companion.

5 Zachary D.
[ I have owned three of these and I ’ ve never had to replace one due to failure. I used one for 8 years of Military service as an infantryman in Arctic, jungle, and desert environments. This product never let me down. Since then I have bought two more. I love these and I expect them to last me a lifetime as a civilian hiker/ camper. I highly recommend this product for someone who needs a sleep pad that will keep comfortable all over the world when used properly and with a sleep system.

5 Federico C.
[ I´ve used this StoS sleeping mat on a 5- day kayak trip, and it´s been great so far. I have tried many different air sleeping mats over the years, and they´ve all disappointed me at some point, so let´s see how it goes with this one! Of course, I put a regular foam Z- type mat under the air mat, because after learning the hard way, I don´t want to wake up sleeping on the floor anymore.

5 jrpow
[ Bought this pad to fit in my travel bag/backpack and to be used while visiting friends with limited bed space. Love this thing. So easy and comfortable to set up and adapt to my packable quilt. I ’ m pretty sure I prefer it over a bed now.

5 Tami R.
[ Love this pad! For the comfort it provides, I do not mind the extra space it takes. I kayak camp so the added weight is no issue at all. I sleep so well on this pad! I love that you can blow the bottom up separately to provide more cushion especially if there are tree roots. So happy with my purchase.

5 Emilia C
This is the best sleeping mat I have EVER used. Had to use it for 3 weeks straight and I didn ’ t have to add air once. 100% worth the purchase.

5 Keith M
I recently used this on a camp trip in the mountains in VA. Awesome pad that didn ’ t pop or get a hole in it. I ’ m glad I went with the XL model being 6 ’ 2 ” and around 260lbs. I didn ’ t slide off and it ’s the first camp pad that went past my shoulder blades. Very happy overall.

5 Josh B
I was skeptical at first because the description said it was insulated and when I received it, it was rolled up paper- thin. But somehow it works. I have only used it camping with low temps in the 40s so far, but I never had that feeling of all the warmth getting sucked out through the mattress like other inflatables I have used. It is also plenty wide enough for 6' 3 '' dude and the V- shape is surprisingly comfortable.

5 willie p
After being in the wilderness of the Montana backcountry for 12 days I fell in love with this mat! I ’ m a larger guy at 6 ’ 3 ” and at 235# the mat was very comfortable and stayed inflated the whole trip. Very easy to inflate and deflate. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone!! took my comfort lite mat out to the rockies in august this year and had surprisingly great sleep on this thing. when its nice and full it keeps my hips off the ground which is new for me. spent 4 nights on the ct and was warm and cozy. the pump sac makes it easy to inflate the mat and my aeros xl pillow. i would love a discount code to grab the spark quilt with a liner:) durability is a concern with how lightweight it is but if i can get 2 seasons and a total of 30 nights with it i will be happy with the money spent

[ Returning my damaged sleeping mat was incredibly easy with Sea to Summit's return process. Not only did they replace the damaged sleeping mat with a brand new one, but they paid for the return shipping. I am delighted with the customer service I received and very glad that I decided to purchase a Sea to Summit product. I will definitely continue to buy from this company in the future.

5 Erin T.
[ This is a high quality backcountry sleeping mat that inflates with ease and stays inflated!! I can ’ t say enough about the company, Sea to Summit- they have great customer service and are there to help. I own three different Sea to Summit mats and wouldn ’ t hike without them. I also carry one in my SAR pack for emergencies.

5 Dan G.
I always like to wait until I 've used items like this multiple times before I write a review so I can be sure to really road test it. When I first received these sleeping pads, I was leery about how thin and lightweight the material was and was concerned they would puncture easily or otherwise be fragile, and I was also concerned they would n't be as comfortable as my older( and more bulky) pads. I have now used them on several backpacking and car camping trips and have found they are totally durable and are without a doubt the most comfortable pads I have ever slept on. It is amazing how light they are and how small they are when stowed and I am absolutely amazed with how comfortable they are- I 'm in my late 50's and have used lots of pads over the years and these are the best. I could n't be more pleased. I really like how the pillow attaches to the pad and I like how I can fill them up with the stuff sack, although it is a bit challenging to get the stuff sack to open up fully so it is full of air for filling purposes... only a minor thing but the one aspect I 'd suggest they work on improving for those times it's really cold or otherwise you want to fill up the pad quickly. Thanks again- I 'm thoroughly impressed and pleased and my back thanks you.

5 Robert R.
Getting to this mat has been a process for me. After years of sleeping on the ground I finally stepped up to some egg- crate foam. After scolding myself for not having made that move years ago, I stepped up to a `` self- inflating '' pad that made things even better. However, I would often wake up with pain or stiffness in my hip. I assumed that was just a consequence of an aging body spending the night in a tent. Then I discovered this mat. What a difference! It is lighter than what I had been carrying and far more comfortable. Blowing it up( one of my concerns) is not a problem. Absolutely recommended!

5 Angelique L.
I recently retired my old Therm- a- Rest for this sleeping pad and now I can actually sleep at night! No comparison. It's easy to inflate and I like the mummy shape. I 'm exactly 5' 6 '' and the regular works perfectly. This is likely too heavy for PCT through hikers but for my 1-, 2- and 3- night trips, it's perfect. However, my very favorite Sea to Summit product which was an absolute game- changer for me for backpacking is the Aeros pillow. That has made all the difference between a miserable night and a great one.

5 Hannah B.
Took this bad boy out on some recent backpacking in the Grand Tetons( Wyoming) and Maroon Bells( Colorado). Major upgrade from my previous MEC pad( that's Canadian REI fyi). Very decent weight given how insanely comfy it is( my bf has the ultralight insulated which is also great, a little lighter). Night temps were around 40 degrees, and I was so toasty( paired with the REI Joule sleeping bag). Super comfy even on uneven surfaces. I sleep on my side/back/front etc. and it was all comfy. So nice to wake up without aches and pains when you are putting your body through grueling hikes! My only suggestion is to add a feature that would allow two Sea to Summit mats to attach/secure lengthwise to one another( velcro tabs? IDK). Especially if you already got bags that zip together.. So when you are backcountry snuggling you can stay cozy with your boo, or your friend, or whoever is keeping you warm in the mountains.

5 Faith R.
Have used this sleeping mat pretty much every weekend since I have purchased it. I appreciate how lightweight it is and how quick it takes to inflate it. I tend to sleep on my side, and wake up with minimal side/back pain.

5 Ashleigh S.

I do a fair amount of camping in the warmer weather and have been looking for awhile for something like this to help on cold nights. While I haven ’ t used it for that purpose yet( I bought in December)- I have been tucking it into my leather jacket for cold weather motorcycle riding and it ’s been such a game changer for me! I got a great deal on it as it was “ open box ” but it seemed brand new to me. Have been using it daily for a few weeks now and it ’s worked awesome so far.

We love these, now have three. We use these Them for many different things

Made of good material. Too small to really find an area to warm your bag, but if you are hiking into an area to tent, it is super light and compact.

Customer service has been great, the quality of the pad is as good as many other products that are much more expensive.

5 Brenden L
Great pad if you ’ re looking for something compact and affordable. Comfort is good considering its size. Easy to inflate as well. It only took a few seconds using the Klymit usb rechargeable portable pump. If you ’ re looking for max comfort and size is not an issue then I do recommend getting something larger and thicker. If you ’ re an ultra lighter looking for something to get you off the ground this is perfect.

5 Grant B
This pad is just thick enough if you ’ re a side sleeper, but also packs down small and weighs next to nothing. I highly recommend to the casual backpacker

5 Cameran A
This sleeping pad is amazing! It's super lightweight, packs down small, and is surprisingly comfortable. The V- shaped design provides great support, so I slept soundly all night. It inflates quickly and is easy to deflate and pack up. Perfect for backpacking or camping, this pad is a total game- changer!

9. 0/10 this is the best pad ever. I ’ ve used this item on gravel, dirt, bare floor it ’s so comfortable.

[ I recently purchased my Big Agnes Hinman sleeping pad, I have used it twice already. It stays put at night and does n't slide out from under me over night. It is comfortable and conforms to my body.

5 T Hinman
[ Had that Big Agnes Hinman pad for a month have used it on the ground and concrete it holds air all night and is thick enough to get a good night's even side sleeping

[ I bought this pad after my plug in inflatible sprung a leak. My niece has one that she loves. So, I bought one before my son and my trip to the ADK for a hiking weekend. My 15 year old son used it in a lean too. He is 6' 2 and weighs 215lbs. It is the extra wide and long pad. It was long and wide enough for him. It is also super comfortable for only 2. 5 in of pad. Love that we no longer need to find an outlet in order to blow it up. Great mat!!

[ I bought this pad as a replacement to fit inside a Big Agnes pad topper I bought a few years ago. I was pleased to see the new valve hardware. Couldn ’ t be easier. Although I don ’ t think BA makes that pad topper anymore, it is pretty comfortable without. Would recommend.

[ Overall awesome, beefy construction, enough capacity for 3 normal size grocery haul bags- completely adequate for 4wd camping trips, etc. minor gripes- the stays should fit in pockets, not just flat retainers and the cover needs improvement. Still worth it tho, I ’ d buy it again...

[ Man, what a delight getting this mattress! I went from feeling like I ’ ve been sleeping on the floor and doubling up on other brand mattresses, to feeling like I ’ m floating on air while sleeping on a hard concrete floor. Really looking forward to testing it out in the woods!

5 Adam S.
[ Took this with me for 30 miles on the 100 mile wilderness in Maines Appalachian trail segment. Easy to inflate, great insulation, and packs easy. Used in temps ranging from single digits to 20F. Highly recommend for winter use!

5 Todd J.
[ This is an awesome sleeping pad for colder weather. Very good insulation factor for frozen/ snow covered ground. It could also be used for regular car camping adventures. It's a bit on the larger side, but when it comes to keeping you warm it's worth it.

5 Brandon G.
[ Durable, Warm, and Easy to Adjust Inflation for Comfort and a Great Nights Sleep!

5 Jonathon T.
[ Love it, I camped with this on top of a gravel pavement at a campsite, thankfully I had a tent with a footprint, but i felt the gravel when I was not on the sleeping pad, but when I was on it I immediately felt like I was at home, no gravel was underneath me, nice and high up off the ground for me, I ’ m 5 ’ 11 and it fit me perfectly had about 2 inches of extra head space with the regular size.

[ Comfortable “ transportable ” mattress, great for car camping. When laid out will start a process of inflating, then just top off with a pump.

[ This is by far the best mat I 've used for camping, it's honestly as comfy as my bed. Buying top quality gear is always best. Companies like Sea to Summit back their products and that's why I will continue to buy their products. I was just hoping for a repair on my damaged mat, but they replaced it. That is a solid business. Thank you very much. I share this experience quite often.

5 Antoine L.
[ I love it, I used it with my girlfriend and it was a nights every single day We used it!

5 Jennifer T.
[ We use these in our Class B+ RV. They are easy to inflate/deflate and we slip them behind the couch to store. There is no comparison to the comfort and ease of use for sleeping pads. Sea to Summit stands behind their products. We had an issue after 6 years and replacement was sent immediately! Couldn ’ t be happier with the product and company!

[ Purchased two of these in the early summer to prepare for a two week long camping trip with my wife and daughter. First used in dinosaur national monument along the green river. Was around 103 degrees during the day 85 at night. Easy to set and durable. Extremely comfortable, didn ’ t sweat at night everyone slept great! Then moved up to Gros venture along the Tetons. Temp during the day was around 83 night lows were in the mid 40s. We used fleece thermal liners paired with the tanami down blankets. The sleeping mats helped us stay warm paired with other excellent products we got from sea to summit. Everyone loves them and we will be returning customers to see what else sea to summit comes up with in the future.

5 Jonathan M.
[ Definitely more comfortable than a standard air mattress.

5 Gregory J.
[ I 'm using this in my van that I use to travel in. It's on the heavy side but I 'm not a thru hiker. On short overnight trips I 'll use this for the extra comfort it gives over the thicker fully inflatable pads.

5 Natalie U.
[ I purchased this for my 6 foot for nephew, and he thinks it ’s great. It ’s hard to find something to fit a tall, broad shoulder teenager whilst also being relatively small to pack in a bag. This one is just right!

5 Andrew L.
[ My original mat I bought from you guys had issues with leaking through the foam mat part. I was very happy you replaced it free and the new one works great.

I 've been searching for a better camping pad since I got a shoulder injury. I roll around a lot but sleep on my side most of the time. This pad is great! The inflator bag is easy to use. It took about five refills for it to get the pad very firm. The one- way valves work great and the little deflator nub makes small adjustments easy. The whole thing is the perfect size. Plenty of room for me to sprawl but does n't take up all the room in my `` two person '' tent. Does n't leak air at all.

Without it, I would ’ ve froze. It kept me, and my dog warm in the cold is part of Montana winner.

5 Ali M.
Very comfortable and provided so much warmth! Took this camping in November and it kept us warm all night. Did not deflate at all. Lots of room to move around and be comfortable. Very easy to inflate/deflate. Perfect camp pad!
