While not the biggest fairway wood in the Elyte Line, this is certainly the longest hitting. Deceptively long to a point that I found myself 15+ yards beyond where I usually hit my 3- woods. For it's size, the 3 wood is forgiving than advertised. And being a Callaway fairway wood, it is also easy to launch the ball off the deck. And that's the key... being able to easily launch the ball off the deck is one advantage this fairway wood will have over a Mini- Driver.

I tested this out at my local golf shop and this was the hottest off the face would I 've ever hit my entire life. If I had some money saved up, I would dive straight in and get the three wood with a stiff shaft, but I think I 'm gon na have to wait until the next generation when this generation lowers in price no matter how bad I want it. The reduced contact with the turf actually makes a huge difference for me at least. The launch monitor was showing great results and I could feel it even without the launch monitor. The ball is popping off of the face like it was nobody's business and compared to the G4 40. I felt that this club had a better feel and overall weight distribution, as well as as I simply prefer the set up look of it. If you have the money, I would highly recommend this, it is certainly on my wish list.

Approximately nicknamed the Mini Mini- Driver. Why you ask? Ball speeds are ridiculous! Forgiveness, on mishits, but especially on low strikes is on another level compared to every FW we have ever tested. I assume that is a combination of the Tungsten and the 10x Ai face. This launches higher than my tour issued Smoke Ai Triple Diamond, flies farther, and is light years more forgiving. Callaway absolutely nailed this design! My advice to you is to go up in loft, meaning if your FW is 15*, get a 16. 5* Elyte Ti because if you don ’ t, you will create a new gap in your bag. This club is a unicorn head similar to what the Triple Diamond Max head has done for Drivers. It ’s truly the best of both worlds. Go get fit!!! Do not buy blind, this club is different than what is in your bag.

It's taken some time for me to slow my swing down which happens at the end of the season but now I am getting great rewards.
