Bought the new Elyte Irons recently and have played a few rounds and been to the range several times. So far i am happy with the overall performance of the irons. I am still dialing in the distances and accuracy of the shots. When I get the sweet spot, these fly. The mis- hits are pretty solid too, mostly shorter but still playable in most instances. I think once i get my swing and time in with these, they will be well worth the purchase. Great looking irons, nice weighting. Nice crisp sound off the face. Based on fitters recommendations, I went a bit more upright so I am struggling a bit in getting my chipping down as the different lie has affected the short game shots a bit.

I have been playing the Max Fast 7i through G for about two months and about 20 rounds. I am 77 and have lost swing speed over the last decade. These irons are much lighter than my prior set. There was a short learning curve to develop the rhythm and swing speed that worked with the lighter clubs. On good strikes, these clubs helped me gain 10 more yards with each club. Off center strikes do not lose that much distance, so my iron game is as good now as when I was much younger and fit. These clubs have a thin top line and compact heads that instill confidence at address. I couldn ’ t be happier with my purchase.

I have been using Callaway products for over 30 years. I bought the Elyte Max Fast Irons when they were first released. Each year I found the improvement to the Callaway family of irons constant improvement. I must say these are the best set of irons I have hit. I am 69 years old and my swing speed has diminished with age. These irons have allowed me to swing within my tempo and increase distance by 5 to 10 yards. Most forgiving clubs with very HOT faces. I ’ m a bogie golfer who rarely makes ball contact on the sweet spot. These clubs way exceeded my expectations; my typical off- center hits still carry within about 85- 90% of expected yardage, which is still ~15- 30 yards further than my old irons. And when I do strike them flush, the ball flies off the face; like a bullet! I initially tested the lower cost Paradygm AI smoke irons, but these Elyte X irons are way longer and so much more forgiving; well worth the slightly higher price!

I am a 7. 2 handicap. Hit these clubs and fell in love with them. They look fantastic and have a nice feel without the harsh sound that some hollow body clubs produce. They are strong lofted so they are about 7- 8 yards longer than my previous set but still have enough spin and height to stop on the greens. I was torn between this club and the T200 and considered go with a mixed bag but in the end decided to go with the full set of T350's. My dispersion and distance control have met all my expectations. One thing to keep in mind is if you like to work the ball in either direction this may not be the right club for you and I would look at the T150's. Spin numbers and descent angle are good but not in player club territory IMO.

Ended up deciding on these, have played 3 rounds with them, and have already seen a big improvement in my iron play. I have played with a lot of set of irons and without a doubt the ping i230 are the most precise clubs I have ever gamed. They offer solid forgiveness and the distances are off the chart. The i200 ’s were good, these are excellent. Best irons for low handicap players IMO. Scratch golfers may prefer something a little more blade like and workable, but these irons are extraordinary.

I just was fitted and the i230 with the Ping Alta CB AWT S shaft was the winner. I have never played graphite shafts on irons, but the Alta CB won me over; it's a joy to hit them. There is enough weight where I can feel the club, and the impact is butter smooth. I feel likes it is less work to get straight distance. The ball does not veer offline much, even with a poor swing. I tested other graphite shafts, and steelfiber, but the Alta CB kept feeling the best and hitting my launch and spin numbers. I 'm looking forward to gaming these this year.

I 've been using these irons for two full seasons since they came out in late 2022. Back then I was fit for a new driver and just wanted to also hit some irons as my previous set was almost a decade old. Hit irons from many different brands, but no model could compete with i230. These irons really hit a sweetspot of looking great, but not intimidating to an `` average '' golfer. And while this is also true for some competitors irons, none of those achieve what the i230 does: it's very forgiving for its size and consistent because it was not designed to just hit low- spin missiles. Irons with similar forgiveness are always built with distance in mind while i230 is all about scoring and creating playable shots with enough spin and height. Even the consistency out of the rough and in the wet is outstanding. Plus, the yardage gaps are perfect through the set while other sets get bunched at the top end and/or have huge gaps in the short irons and wedges. Plus, they also feel REALLY solid. Not as soft as a one- piece forging but very satistfying. Best comparison is hitting a nail with a hammer. Not soft, but solid and powerful.

I ’ ve had these irons for a month and I really, really love them. An upgrade from my 921HM. Granted I had the wrong shaft in my previous set, DG105, had trouble getting them up in the air. I opted for the Nippon 950Neo on the new HMP after a Mizuno fitting at GG. A little lighter and higher launching, combined with hotter face and slightly stronger loft equals a dream set of irons for me. Nothing feels like a Mizuno. Can ’ t recommend more. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

After taking a break from golf for about 25 years, only playing maybe one a year, I decided that it was time seeing as how I went to part time work after 31 years in my profession. After buying a set of Mavrik ’s and not being able to hit them after leaving the big box store, I went to a fitter with my mind made up with buying the 425 ’s and my local golf shop talked me into trying the 730 ’s and I am so glad he did. I ended up buying the 730 ’s 6- 50 degree and started playing them. All I can say is that I can hit them high, long( 10+ yards in every club), and straight. I ended up ordering the 5 iron to compliment my set as well as driver, 3 and 5 wood of the G730 Max ’s. I am now playing weekly with these and my game has improved significantly! I hope these irons don ’ t wear out anytime soon! If they do and Ping makes a better set of irons, if this is possible, I will definitely look into them but for now, I more than satisfied with the 730 ’s.

Many times advertising is more hype than reality, but not this time. The G730 is EVERYTHING AND MORE that Ping says they are. The player friendly design shines in all facets. Off center hits are more on line and center hits explode off the face. I am seeing 5- 6 yards more carry on average. Mid to high handicappers should STRONGLY consider this iron. I got these irons in October of 2024 to replace my old edge irons. First off these irons have a lot more spin than my old ones. The spin is great because it allows me to accurately place my shots into the green. Second, there are very forgiving. I can tend to catch some mishits here and there but they always fly straight with these irons. Third is the feel. They feel firm but not too firm which I like.

I have had these in the bag for 6 months. I 'm a low handicap 60 year old that decided it was time to move to graphite. Off set and top line have never bothered me if it's a little bigger. Absolutely ca n't say enough about these! Yes you can work the ball both ways and yes you can feel where you strike the ball on the face. Spin is still there. Unbelievable soft feel. I bought this set with a bit of skepticism, but they were by far hitting better in the bay than TM, Ping, Callaway, and Mizuno Irons. I have more distance, spin, control, forgiveness and FUN with these irons than any I have ever played. I am a mid- handicapper at a 12, but I doubt I will ever want to swing different Irons at any point in my golf career. The light, stiff shaft are great at getting the ball in the air, and the spin rates are off the wall good. I wen 5i- gw and might add a custom 4i as well since I am so happy.

Traded in my set of Callaways for the D9 irons and driver. I went with the senior shaft, which was a great decision. Both the irons and driver are easy to hit, getting more distance without over swinging, and the clubs just feel right. After spending some time at the driving range, I hit the course and shot a 78. I bought these irons to replace irons that I ’ ve had for 15 years. Distance has improved by 1 club across the board, really due to the stronger lofts compared to my old set. The most noticeable improvement is how the ball flies off the club face when hit pure and off- center hits still fly well due to the forgiveness, which was important to me as an average golfer. I would recommend these irons for someone looking to upgrade to new technology and to gain distance while improving forgiveness at a decent price point.

I have played with a lot of set of irons and without a doubt the ping i230 are the most precise clubs I have ever gamed. They offer solid forgiveness and the distances are off the chart. The i200 ’s were good, these are excellent. Best irons for low handicap players IMO. Scratch golfers may prefer something a little more blade like and workable, but these irons are extraordinary.

I just was fitted and the i230 with the Ping Alta CB AWT S shaft was the winner. I have never played graphite shafts on irons, but the Alta CB won me over; it's a joy to hit them. There is enough weight where I can feel the club, and the impact is butter smooth. I feel likes it is less work to get straight distance. The ball does not veer offline much, even with a poor swing. I tested other graphite shafts, and steelfiber, but the Alta CB kept feeling the best and hitting my launch and spin numbers. I 'm looking forward to gaming these this year.

I 've been using these irons for two full seasons since they came out in late 2022. Back then I was fit for a new driver and just wanted to also hit some irons as my previous set was almost a decade old. Hit irons from many different brands, but no model could compete with i230. These irons really hit a sweetspot of looking great, but not intimidating to an `` average '' golfer. And while this is also true for some competitors irons, none of those achieve what the i230 does: it's very forgiving for its size and consistent because it was not designed to just hit low- spin missiles. Irons with similar forgiveness are always built with distance in mind while i230 is all about scoring and creating playable shots with enough spin and height. Even the consistency out of the rough and in the wet is outstanding. Plus, the yardage gaps are perfect through the set while other sets get bunched at the top end and/or have huge gaps in the short irons and wedges. Plus, they also feel REALLY solid. Not as soft as a one- piece forging but very satistfying. Best comparison is hitting a nail with a hammer. Not soft, but solid and powerful.

I have been swinging these irons for about a month. 2 to 3 days a week on a simulator and two rounds of golf thus far. These irons give me consistency, I feel like the distance is predictable from club to club. They have a stylish non- clunky appearance, but are also forgiving. After taking a break from golf for about 25 years, only playing maybe one a year, I decided that it was time seeing as how I went to part time work after 31 years in my profession. After buying a set of Mavrik ’s and not being able to hit them after leaving the big box store, I went to a fitter with my mind made up with buying the 425 ’s and my local golf shop talked me into trying the 730 ’s and I am so glad he did. I ended up buying the 730 ’s 6- 50 degree and started playing them. All I can say is that I can hit them high, long( 10+ yards in every club), and straight. I ended up ordering the 5 iron to compliment my set as well as driver, 3 and 5 wood of the G730 Max ’s. I am now playing weekly with these and my game has improved significantly! I hope these irons don ’ t wear out anytime soon! If they do and Ping makes a better set of irons, if this is possible, I will definitely look into them but for now, I more than satisfied with the 730 ’s.

Many times advertising is more hype than reality, but not this time. The G730 is EVERYTHING AND MORE that Ping says they are. The player friendly design shines in all facets. Off center hits are more on line and center hits explode off the face. I am seeing 5- 6 yards more carry on average. Mid to high handicappers should STRONGLY consider this iron. It ’s truly a game changer!

I just did a fitting today and the G730 was the winner( and the only club close to it was the G440). We tried the Alta Quick 45 shaft, which worked great( in my 60's and my top swing speed is around 75mph but often 70mph). But then we dropped to the Quick 35 and it was even better. I went from hitting my existing irons( QI but customized to 2 up and 2 strong) 120- 130 carry with a strong push to the right to hitting these 155 and straight/draw. My total distance was in the 170's, which I did n't think I 'd ever see again. They just seem to whip through the shot and the sound is perfect and I was hitting baby draws instead of way right. Honestly these were n't on my radar when I walked in for the fitting. I 'm glad the fitter brought this out to try. Only negative is they may not be the best looking irons but I could n't care less.- they are amazing and fit me perfectly.

64yo high handicap player. Love these clubs! Light weight. Very playable. Have played Tommy Armour, Wilson, Cobra Fly XL. The Pings( at the same price as the cobras) are slightly better IMHO. I would urge you to spend the extra money and get the complete set with the bag.

My wife was fitted for Ping G Le3 irons, hybrids, and fairway woods in November and they have been fantastic. Gapping specifically for women and women friendly design actually works. She is 78 and is able to hit and hold greens as never before as these clubs have given her some additional length while hitting the ball much higher. Handicap index has gone from 30. 2 in November to 24 by May 1.

about a year into golf, was a high handicapper until I got the iron/hybrid set. I ’ m consistently hitting high 90s- low 100s. The hybrids are particular easier to hit than my previous( Reva) ones. I love that it came with 3 wedges( W, U, S). The only thing holding it back from being perfect for me is that it came with a 5h and 6h. Given the loft on the 6h and 7i is only a difference of 0. 5 degrees, it would have been much more practical to have a 4h instead of the 6h. I ended up buying the 4h separately and it ’s my favorite club in the bag. Trying to figure out how to find a women ’s 2h or 3h to get a little more distance, but I don ’ t think Ping makes them.
