Went and had a custom fitting at 2nd Swing in Minnetonka three weeks ago. These irons were not even on my radar, Drew Bosely, my fitter put these in my hand after swinging the G430 and i530 irons. The trackman confirmed what I felt and saw, the dispersion and accuracy was phenomenal. Played my 1st round with them yesterday and they are as advertised, was pin high with all of my shots at the greens and their stopping power is amazing. The only thing I will say is when I went in there to buy them there was an issue at the cash register and I tried to use my triple points. Somehow there was a problem while ringing up and I ended up getting no points and tried to go in and resolve the issue online and was just giving a please try again later issue with a purchase of this caliber. I would think there would be some better ways to get this issue resolved to at least get my original points back.

I did a combo set with the p770's and p7cb's. I went 8 iron thru pitching wedge for the p7cbs. They are very easy to hit, and I do n't think these irons are limited to only low handicappers. You can feel mishits, but they are not overly punishing. Very easy to hit draws and cuts. I might even end up swapping my 7 iron to the p7cbs with as easy as they are to hit.

My concern for my swing was unnecessary. I did a fitting in- store before buying these clubs, and there's a lot of great irons out there. We had it narrowed down to two brands, and I ended up going with these because they had a set in stock. After playing a few rounds, I 'm still really happy with my choice. What really strikes me about these clubs is that they are both forgiving and provide feedback. When I hit it perfect, it feels perfect. When I mishit though, the club feel and sound let me know it was a mishit, but the ball still flies to about where I was trying to get it. Honestly, it's the perfect combination for someone like me who is actively trying to improve but still wants to enjoy the game.

As someone who is very new to golf, I was extremely surprised at how well I was able to hit this club in store and at my fitting. I had been teaching myself how to golf with a used JPX 923 7 iron and hadn ’ t used anything else until this. They feel incredible with good contact and maybe it ’s the smaller face making me focus more but I actually started hitting the center more consistently. My left and right shanks are pretty much gone( now I just have work on consistent low point). Love these clubs and got them on sale after my fitting- will be in the bag for quite some time as they are forgiving to hit yet challenging enough for me to train with and gives me something to strive for.

Ordered these built to my specs with stock Mitsubishi Graphite MMT shafts. This is one of the best looking and best feeling irons I have ever owned. There are a lot of forged irons out there but these are soft! Feedback is excellent so you can tell when you hit center or are off the mark a bit. Launch the ball high with excellent angle of descent and stopping power on the green. Can work the ball on partial and full shots. Distance control and dispersion are excellent and consistency is impressive. Distance is good for the lofts which are more traditional than todays `` players distance '' irons so if you are more interested in distance than control, feel and workability you may be disappointed. And while not as forgiving as a game improvement club these are no way as demanding as many blades and muscle backs on the market. As a 6 HCP I have no trouble gaming these One final note. I ordered these the first day pre- orders were being taken and it took longer than anticipated to be built due to a missing component. Callaway went out of their way to keep me updated on the progress and shipped overnight to me at not cost. Great customer service!

When I went for my fitting, Callaway was not on my list of clubs. Little did I know that the second I swung this club, i would be BLOWN away. Super soft off the face. The carry distance is exactly what I want to see. Spin was great but not overboard. While being fair to other manufacturers, I tried 4 other clubs without looking at them and could pick the xforged cb EVERY time simply off of feel. Needless to say, I went with Callaway and could not be happier! They truly outperformed the competition! You owe it to yourself to give these a try! A+

I ’ ve had these irons for a month and I really, really love them. An upgrade from my 921HM. Granted I had the wrong shaft in my previous set, DG105, had trouble getting them up in the air. I opted for the Nippon 950Neo on the new HMP after a Mizuno fitting at GG. I had a set of Taylor Made R7 irons and anted to try some of the newer models to see if the new technology made a difference. I did a club fitting and despite ChatGPT recommending these clubs based on my swing metrics and goals during my research, I didn ’ t plan on testing them because they were “ Mizuno ”. Coincidentally, the fitter recommended that I try this club as well and after consistently smacking it, there was no doubt. I had the same set of Titleist irons given to me from the Pro Tour instructor back in 2012 and the difference between those club and these new Taylormade ’s is unreal. The ZXi7 is butter, offering enough forgiveness on mishits and still plenty hot, especially coming from Players Distance irons. I ’ ve been a Mizuno loyalist for 20+ years but I have never hit an iron that felt like the ZXi7. The Mizuno Pro 245 ’s will now be my backup set…though I doubt I will ever go back!

I ordered through Dicks/Golf Galaxy and they were delivered form Srixon quite quickly and in the exact specs and grip customization I selected online. I run a combo set of ZX7/ZX5 and ZXi7Gap wedge. I chose to switch to the set gap wedge instead of a Vokey gap wedge and by that time, zx7 was discontinued. The ZXi7 gap( approach) wedge fit the set perfectly. Srixon's feel the best and have one of the better combo option if you are looking for more forgiveness in the longer irons. They have a cult following for a reason, both on tour and from weekend warriors like myself. I 've owned Mizuno in the past, hard to imagine myself moving away from Srixon anytime soon.

Clubs are great but when I went there originally for a fitting the pro fitter was n't very good. I have a 2 hcp and still shoot low 70's and hit my drives 260 and 7 iron 155 but he said I needed T250 launch spec and regular shaft irons. I was very skeptical but I ordered them. I played with them one time and every shot was a moon shot high right with no distance. I took clubs back and told them about the results. I told them I want AMT stiff black and Standard T250 irons. Got them last week and a perfect fit on my recommendation. The fitter Jules at the North Olmstead Golf Galaxy in my oppinion is UNFIT to be a Pro club fitter.

Play one of the hardest courses in Texas typically in windy conditions. Can work ball both ways, distance control is excellent, and do n't feel beat up after the round. Ca n't draw the ball as precisely vs traditional blade, but otherwise everything else is superior. Easily a club longer with a stiffer shaft than my last blades. Hope they work for you.

I did a mixed set of the p770's and the p- 7cb's. I went with the 4 iron thru 7 iron in the p770s. These irons have a great feel to them, and you can easily work draws and cuts with them. My mishits are usually hitting it too thin. You get a good feel for the mishit which is what I want, but I 'm not loosing very much distance. I 've been really been surprised how forgiving they are. Really happy with this purchase.

Been playing for almost 15 years and have not had a iron that checks all the boxes. This is perfect for someone who wants to transition from hollow body irons. Usually, 100% 1020 carbon steel is just for blades until now. You get great forgiveness from a mid handicap standpoint, but when you flush it, it feels unreal. The turf interaction is also fantastic from the sole design on this club. This will be in my bag for years to come.

I used ChatGPT to help select a club to take to Ireland( Sept 25) to play in the high winds, rain and hard surfaces. I prompted ChatGPT with my current club specs, trackman data, GHIN data, and my ChatGPT plan to get to scratch. I used the Callaway preowned inventory for ChatGPT to fine tune the selection( APEX UT 20 degree with graphite shaft).
