I have owned my Truss for a year now and I use it almost daily, it has always performed when asked to. The blades are easy to maintain sharpness, the pliers are rigid and strong, and the scissors keep impressing me with what they will cut. I personally own three of these. One for my bunker gear, one for my station pants, and one for my EDC. Ive always used Gerber in the past but this is by far the best multi tool ever! The knife is razor sharp( it passed the shave test). Pliers/wire cutters are what would be expected, as well as the other tools. A surprise was the letter/box opener was an outstanding little tool.

After loads of research trying to find the perfect EDC MT I found it in the Dime. The tool selection is excellent in this size of EDC. Quality is above average and I 'm sure this MT will be in my inventory for generations. I 've never owned a package opener but have to say that after discovering this device on the Dime I can now enjoy birthdays and holidays without the worry of dealing with those pesky plastic packages! Better than the small Swiss Army knife. I use the knife blade most. All blades are adequate... Yes, one is hard to open but I never use it anyway. Just got to remember that the size has its positive as well as negative points. Easy to carry in my pocket. Not too big or bulky. Not an overwhelming blade to use for self defense( ha ha). But usually adequate for most of your needs.

Excellent tool. I have the blackout version. Blades are a little stiff but not that you ca n't safely open them with a fingernail, with use they are getting smoother and easier to open. Scissors are great, package owner is nice and the tweezers are actually nice in a pinch. Bottle opener works well and is great to use to hook to a Key Chain or to run a piece of 550 cord through. The split ring for going on a key chain is weak and really useless. I 'll be buying one for my wife and daughter.

I 've had this multitool for 4 months now and it's great. The opening mechanism is so smooth, it's a joy to operate. The lock can be easily operated with one hand and all of the tools can be accessed from the outside. It even comes with a pocket clip which is nice if you do n't want to deal with wearing a sheath on a belt. I hope this model is around for a long time!

Gerber keeps finding ways to improve multitools and driving the cost down. I have owned the original Suspension, so when the NXT came our with a pocket clip, I had to have it. I love the weight feel of this tool. I was surprised there is no stud on the blade for 1 hand opening. The Phillips screwdriver is long like a real screwdriver. The scissors are stubby, but usable. I 'm not fond of the wire spring. The tool feels good in my hand and has the basics. Just what I need. For the money, it's an effective value- priced tool with a real lifetime warranty.

Got the original suspension it was cost for the price sheath as we all know was a bit thin so I pit it in my leatherman leather case with the single light attachment. Fit snug as a glove yawl. Then I got wind of the NXT mhmm hmmm had to have it. First one was a but warped so I took it back to homedepot and the passed me another which we checked at the counter right and clean! On my belt loop it went and off to work... that all is great for scrapping char off a burnt up gas oven, I kind you not that babe shines:] used it to dig some pilot holes for door hinges tenants broke a bedroom door. Spring loaded pilers cut up them bronzed cost hangers like nothing car wire radio with 12g single stranded too. That cross is so boss use it to in stall a new porch light, 8ft led and bathroom fan without any additional tool Gerber keeping beautiful baby your awesome yawl love it keep up the good work, myhx AC.

I bought this a few months ago and it works for everything. The alignment of the handles are a bit off, but that has n't inhibited the functionality at all. All the tools work great for all sorts of things. Whether it be small crafts, projects around the house, cutting rope, or misc. hunting activities it has always come in handy. I watched lots of videos, and read lots of reviews. I 'm no expert by any definition in the area of multitools. Mine arrived nicely boxed, and I was pleased with the heft and feel of the tool in my hand. Edged tools came razor sharp. Easy to open and close tools. The fine, needle- nosed pincers are my favorite tool- teeth fit together perfectly. Bits are all appropriate, although I may swap out a few- easy to do with the millions of available bits in that size. Nice sheath, belt loop, attachment points. I really like the stonewash finish. No aspect disappointing. Maybe there are better/worse tools( all subjective), but you wo n't be second- guessing yourself if you buy this SOG beauty!
