As a high school triple jumper I can say that this is the best triple jump spike on the market. I have tried other options and I can confidently say that if you do not have these spike you are at a major disadvantage in a competition. I have had 3 pairs and all of them are still in perfect condition to jump after 2 years I would recommend that you go a minimum half a size up if you would like them to fit snug. other than that I have no complaints about the fit. The cushion on the heel is in my option the best part about the shoe. It allows to be able to absorb the impact that face on the second phase of your jump while not taking away from that power that you can create on your first and last phase. The bottom plate of the shoe works exactly how you would want while performing your jump. the flat heal and aggressive toe design allow you to get the desired heel to toe movement that is so crucial in the triple jump. The carbon plate is very strong and helps create power in the third phase of the jump. In the next generation of the spike I would like to see firm feel of the toe much like the Adidas sp2 so that you can maximize the total push of that you are able to get in you last phase to drive you into the pit even farther.

These spikes were perfect for my son!! He is a size 14 in men and it is usually very difficult finding anything that fits him without going to an outlet. He is new to track and field and we thought we were all prepared until he came home saying he needed spikes. Of all things, I could n't believe we did n't think of that.... I mean duh lol! Literally immediately after typing Dick's came up WITH his size in stock AND the spikes were super fly( my son's word). Initially I got the size 15 because I thought that his normal size 14 would be narrow and tight on his wide flat feet. Nope- the 15 was too big. His coach told us that spikes have to be your size or fitted. So we got his normal size 14 and it's a perfect fit. They attend narrow nor do they hurt his feet. He wears them with socks and they 're perfect. He's also worn them without socks and we 're fine. He says the spikes feels funny when walking but that is ONLY because this is his first time wearing spikes, ever. Also they were delivered the next day for free and I ordered them after 5: 30 in the evening. I will shop at Dick's more often. Even customer service was great when I called to ask about the return policy for the size 15. They were not only on sale, but they came with the carry bag and the spikes and the spike tool( IDK what it's called). I did n't know all of that was in the box until he asked for help with the spikes lol. Great buy and I completely recommend the spikes and the company! Thank you!

Inside was a blue bag with the nike logo to keep boots in if you do n't have a boots bag but would do for accessories also. The boots themselves were very light, and running my hand over the fabric, you could feel the grip from the textured surface. It ’s gets softer and moulds to your feet over several wears and personally find it much better fit than the mercurial as I have wide feet. The grip is a very balanced and enables better curve on the ball when shooting with both inside and outside of the foot. I had to get half a size bigger than I normally wear trainers as I found it being too much of a perfect fit with no ability to move my toes otherwise.

We bought these for our 15 year old son. He uses them for both academy and high school ball. Plays as a striker and loves feel of the ball and has great touch and grip on natural grass fields. He's been using them since the beginning of October 2024, pretty much 6 days a week in both training and games and they 've really held up. [ Full disclosure, I am an avid runner that occasionally plays soccer. While I have always been very picky about my running shoes, I never paid much attention to my soccer cleats. However, after trying the Phantom GT2 Elite, I will not buy just any soccer shoes again. It is not an exaggeration to say that I felt I was a slightly better player. Why? Well, the feel of the ball with these shoes is terrific. You really feel you have the ball in control. I am a clumsy player, so having a good feel of the ball is essential to me, or I start making too many mistakes. These shoes are the best I have worn when it comes to controlling and feeling the ball. Additionally, these shoes are really light, and I could sprint around the field easily on them–for the most part. And here is the one negative thing I have to say about these shoes, they are hard to break into. The material of the shoes is tough. This fact is not bad in itself since it seems they are durable, but it takes some time to feel comfortable in them. They felt a bit hard at the beginning, and while putting them on the first few times, I thought I was going to bend and break the heels of the shoes. Nevertheless, after wearing them a couple of times, I started to feel comfortable in them. Once you break into these shoes, they snug tightly and comfortably around your foot. For me, this is what makes them great for controlling and feeling the ball. One final thing, the dynamic fit sock is great. I struggle with unstable ankles, and I fear I will sprain my ankle every time I wear soccer cleats. But this time, it was different. The dynamic fit sock makes you feel more stable, and after a couple of minutes, I was no longer worried about my ankles. I could focus on running and dribbling without worrying too much–or at all–about my ankles. All in all, they are the best soccer shoes I have ever had. They are hard to break into, but once you do that, they are great. Hopefully, they do not feel as hard in future iterations. I highly recommend them if you like to feel the ball. I guess my only problem now is that I will not settle for just any soccer shoes.

[ First, I LOVE a snug fit cleat. It feels secure and sturdy to me. This shoe is definitely snug- but also runs a bit small. I am almost always a consistent size, and I needed a half size bigger in these. I 've never had a cleat with the extended ankle sock/support. I absolutely love it. I thought it was just going to be a flimsy piece of fabric that really served no purpose. It fits tight around the ankle adding support and a slight cushion. The shoe is also fierce looking. I 've always liked more basic colors for my cleats- but these cleats, even in black, catch the eye and add some style. I 'm here for it. I would n't change anything about these cleats- I love them. Just make sure you get the right size!
