[ I have used this system 4 times now and is big enough for my son and I to hang in as well. The DryFly rain tarp is amazing and worked extremely well on a windy rainy night as I stayed perfectly dry. The system itself is very easy to setup and even a hammock novice can hang it up in a matter of seconds. I have this system paired with a Kammok Firebelly underquilt and Therma- a- rest Chorus top quilt.

[ I have two of these. The original and now the improved, which I purchased for my girlfriends setup. I ’ ll admit I ’ m very jealous of the zipper they added to the new one. Easy to set up. No need for an additional ridge line. Highly recommend.

[ So good, I bought a second. You can zip in or you can cinch at your feet, slide it over your body and cinch at your head. It ’s super lightweight, packs down extremely small which is perfect for backpacking. I had no issues with bugs getting in.

[ Very well executed design. One side is open so you can use the hammock normally, then pull it over and sinch it closed to protect from pests. The L shape zipper down the middle makes for easy access. Clips to the carabiner on the hammock, so no ridgeline needed. Perfect functionality.

[ I have used this hammock system extensively while doing field work in remote locations of the South American rainforest. Setting up the system takes a bit of practice( you want to make sure the tarp is taunt and set up correctly so you do n't accidentally flood your hammock) but will get significantly easier over time. I have now purchased two sets for me and my sister for private use. Especially important here in FL: the net does not only keep mosquitoes away but is also( mostly) no- see- ums proof. I recommend wrapping the cord of the insect net over the `` end bits '' of the net and around the hammock strap to make sure its tight to prevent the nasties from crawling in.

Purchased this product to use the many times in the field/camping/hiking. It is perfect and well worth the money. The netting is a piece of cake to set up and take down. Can easily slide it to one side in case you want to just lounge in the hammock as a chair. Keeps all the bugs out, as well as provides a little extra warmth.

The Gaurdian length is a perfect match for my ENO Double Nest. Some other brand hammocks may be longer and require a little tweaking where the hammock suspension lines exit. Perfect for Coastal and Piedmont hanging. HYOH

When selecting an eno hammock with a bug net, consider features such as the net's material and design, which should provide effective protection against insects while allowing for good airflow. Additionally, look for ease of setup, compatibility with various hammock styles, and whether the net is integrated or detachable. Comfort and weight are also important, especially if you plan to use the hammock for camping or backpacking.
A bug net significantly enhances the camping experience by providing a barrier against insects, allowing you to relax and sleep comfortably without the annoyance of bites. This is especially important in areas with high mosquito or insect populations. A good bug net will also maintain visibility and airflow, ensuring you can enjoy the natural surroundings while staying protected.
Yes, eno hammocks with bug nets can be suitable for various weather conditions, but it's essential to consider additional protection for rain or wind. The bug net will keep insects away, but you may want to pair it with a rainfly or tarp for full weather protection. Always check the materials and construction of both the hammock and the bug net to ensure they can withstand the elements.
ENO hammocks with bug nets are ideal for a variety of outdoor activities, including camping, backpacking, and lounging in the backyard. They are particularly useful in areas where insects are prevalent, making them a great choice for summer camping trips or relaxing in nature. Their lightweight design also makes them easy to carry for hiking or traveling.
To ensure comfort while using an eno hammock with a bug net, pay attention to the hammock's dimensions and weight capacity to accommodate your body size. Proper setup is crucial; make sure the hammock is hung at the right height and tension for optimal support. Additionally, consider using a sleeping pad or underquilt for added insulation and comfort, especially in cooler temperatures.
