Purchased this product to use the many times in the field/camping/hiking. It is perfect and well worth the money. The netting is a piece of cake to set up and take down. Can easily slide it to one side in case you want to just lounge in the hammock as a chair. Keeps all the bugs out, as well as provides a little extra warmth.

The sewn on bug netting works wonderful! I was on a reason weekend hike with a lot of no - see - um bugs that were never able to break though. I would highly recommend the tree straps they sell to hang the hammock. They give a lot of leeway for the spot you want to camp. The pack down weight is perfect for my style backpacking. It pops right out. Open the zipper and we put our chairs in. We didnt need the extra materials for the setup but we might later. The capacity was 5. 2 adults, 3 teens. The take down process, well there were no instructions but was in a rush so we just folded it and carried it to our trunk. It was very useful while watching fireworks and no mosquitos flying around constantly!

I bought this a month ago and we love it, helps keep our 3 year old from running around at the ball fields and helps block the sun, and is great with blocking the wind, we were iffy at first with the walls being mesh but have n't used it in the rain yet. Spacious for 4 people. Only issue we had is it is hard to fold up and put away by yourself.

[ This portable shelter is very easy to set up. It has the pull out handles to easily pop out the sides and top. The sides are done first and then you go inside to pop out the top. There are two sets of supports poles that are strapped inside to then install on the panel that has the door. The included stakes are built well. I love how one person can do set - up and tear down.

Bought this tent a long time ago, about fourteen years. Has held up great for that time. Ten min. set up time with two people. Hooked this tent to the back of my truck that has a cap. Worked great as a second room. I use the truck as a bedroom. Sleeve zips off for a third door option if using the tent alone. The only problem was when it rained one time and a pool formed between the cap and the tent on the sleeve. If it was on the right car maybe this would n't happen. The other thing that should be done to make set up easier is to mark the center of each tent pole. This is to mark the apex of the tent to tie the roof ties to. You will see what I mean when you set up. Would I buy this tent again? Yes. And I have never put any kind of waterproofer or seam sealer on and never had a leak.

I used the tent for the first time this past weekend and thought it was great!! My wife even enjoyed camping and I was n't sure that was possible. I heard from reviews that people said that it was hard to set up, but me and my friend set it up for the first time in the dark and only took us 10 minutes, very simple. They even have a video that shows you how to set it up, I would advise watching it first if you are unsure. Others said that it wouldnt fit back in the bag that it comes with, but again, I had no problem with it at all. The only cons were the tent pegs that came with it. They had no point at the end and bent everytime you hammered them in. I went to REI and bought some titanium tent pegs and problem was solved. The only other con was that when using the zippers, they sometimes catch the overflap fabric. Not sure how to fix it yet, but not a big concern. The tent is big and very roomy. I 'm 6' 5 '' and could walk around the tent with no problem. I have a 2004 Toyota 4Runner and the fit was perfect. Great tent, cant wait to use it again!

Love the idea of attaching this tent to my SUV. My wife and I have spent many a nights stacking stuff form the back into the front seats to make room for us in the back. This tent arrived and we headed out to go camping, first stop Holter Lake Montana, fee for camping sights vehicles on pavement tents on grass, you can imagine that we could not drive stakes into the ground when half would have to go through pavement. Headed out of Holter to camp at the Bridge where the access road to Holter meets up with the river at wolf creek canyon. Pitched the tent, pole, stakes everything and lit the barbeque and settle down for the night. Then the wind came and tent blew away. Lesson learned point the vehicle into the wind if known or possible( keep in mind, Eastern Montana is some of the windiest area in the United States. Packed up and headed home in the middle of the night. Two days later headed out to Yogo Creek Montana, found a remote site and set up camp, some wind but it was steady and we pointed vehicle into the wind. Everything else went off without a hitch, beautiful clear creek, camp fire and tent did fine in the 10 to 12 mph wind gust. One small problem, the straps that attach to the tent and come over the top of the vehicle and attach under the hood. When the wind blows is raddles those straps and makes a noise like a semi using air brakes. I will be going to the dollar store and buying some cheap pool noodles, slicing them half way and attaching them over those straps to stop this in the future. Over all glad I bought the tent, roomy and pretty easy to set up and break down.
