I purchased this for my daughter to practice pitching fastpitch softball and this is the perfect net. It's the right size, giving her plenty of room to catch errant throws while she zeroes in on her skills and improves her accuracy. It's so light and easy to setup and tear down, too. I did n't realize that it also came with its own storage bag, so that was a great bonus! I highly recommend this net for the sports enthusiats in your home! My only concern is whether we 'll have any problems with the elastic nylon cord getting cut by the tubing during setup/tear- down, but I have no complaints after the first month of use.

I 've played for years with this net system. We use the same net every time we play and we play for a minimum of two hours every time we play. This net is still in perfect condition. You can set it up virtually anywhere and in next to no time. Very easy assembly and disassembly. The stock stakes are not the best but very easy to replace.

This cage is awesome for the at home baseball player! The cage is big enough to place an actual batters box and home plate. Plenty of time for the pitcher to react to a struck ball, but really needs an `` L '' screen. The only down side is the cage is actually 2- 24' cages and requires cutting the ends of the nets. I just tied the 2 ends up at the top and you can separate the cages later and have 2 smaller cages. Very easy to set- up and holds up well.

I have to admit, I was skeptical when I saw in the instructions that we have to `` bend the poles '' into an arc. I was sure they would snap. I even called the 1800 number to question them, but they assured me, they would bend easily..... and they did. I took about 100 swings the first day, had a blast with it, and it held up well. Works nicely with the Heater pitching machine, which hooks perfectly to the cage. Do n't try to use it for a golf cage, though. I hit seven golf balls, and four of them went right through the netting.

Bought this item online and was excited to get it because of the price. I had read some mixed reviews before purchasing, but figured I could always take it back to the store if it did n't work out. The cage set up in about 45 minutes and seemed really stable. We also have a Heater baseball machine we use with it and it was fun to get inside and take swings which were even too fast for me. After about 2 months, we had a big storm come through and one of my fiberglass rods broke( after going back and reading the instructions I now realize I should have taken the cage down before the storm). Obviously I was upset because it 'd only been a few months, but I called the Heater customer service line and there was a girl who was extremely helpful. They sent me a replacement pole for free and I replaced the part in 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this cage to my friends. It's worked real good since it's been up and the only time it had an issue was when I was lazy and did n't take it down when we had a storm. My son has improved a ton since we got it and I 'm very happy with the purchase.

Great batting cage. Not difficult to set up BUT do not pound the ground stakes in all the way until you are close to the final steps. Reason being, that you will have to remove them once the actual netting goes on the batting cage. We had originally pounded them all the way into the ground and it was a headache, not to mention all the time it took when we noticed the instructions told us to remove them so that they went through the netting. So just pound them in a bit and then you can pound them all the way in AFTER the netting is on. Other than that, installing it was very easy and so far it works very well!!

Bought this for my 9 yo Little Leaguer for backyard BP. Set up was not very easy, but not very difficult either. Support posts were well marked and easy to fit together. I made sure all support ropes between posts were measured precisely before putting support posts up, as would be difficult to adjust them later at 10- 12 feet high. Knot tying skills are helpful, although mine are middle of the road at best. Putting net over support structure was the tricky part, but I was doing this alone. Until you advance the net over the apex of the support posts it tends to slide right back off in the early going. I ended up using a large push broom to lift up the net and advance it over the structure while still standing on the ground. Much easier than climbing up and down a ladder. While the ground stakes work well, we ended up placing support lines from the end support posts to nearby tress to avoid having these lines running to the ground where people, or our two dogs, might trip over them and/or dislodge them. Cage has only been up about 2 weeks but has already weathered two wind and thunderstorms without loosening up. We have ordered a pitching machine to use with the cage which has not yet arrived, so thus far we have only used this 24 foot cage for fast toss BP, which works just fine. At this close range a solid protective screen is a must. I wanted the 30 foot Xtender cage but it would not fit in the space we had, so we knew this would be a bit tight. With a Heater pitching machine that stands outside the netting and even back a few feet, we will still be able to have a pitching distance of 20+ feet. We also put some twine through the netting at the batter's end of the cage to pull that wall back a bit and give more space to swing. Again, a little small but big enough, relatively sturdy once up. Will be interesting to see how netting holds up over time.

I do not know what these people are thinking. Making such a great product and selling it at this price. I have never seen anything better made. I would have expected to pay 3 times what I did. I would recommend this even if you dont have a projector. I have had 2 others and they did not last. This one is stout. It will last you long enough, you May buy a projector later. When I got this the box was damaged and there were parts missing, the company got on in and I got the parts in a week. I would buy again. Set up is easy the second time.

[ I 've purchased this cage about a month ago, as I 'm slowly finishing my basement bedroom and making it into a simulator room. The net and frame of the cage is good quality and is fairly easy to put together. However, there are some subtle, but key things to note( long tent poles go in front, short in rear& the posts on the front arms need to be facing outwards- otherwise you 'll get major sag in the front of the net). For this price, I find it hard to beat. Also, the customer support is top notch. Very responsive, attentive and helpful. I highly recommend!

With SIP in place, I was seeking a rebound net for my daughter and her water polo skills. While I had my eye on another rebound net at a lower price point, I 'm glad that I purchased this one. The construction is very sturdy and setting it up out the box was very straightforward. Took maybe 10 minutes from opening of the box to getting the very last band connector wrapped. The surface area of the net is very generous. It's got 3 different angle settings to set the net's response at. While throwing a water polo ball at the net, the bounce back is solid( I. e. shoots the ball back as fast as you threw into the net.. if you hit the sweet spot). While maybe the mass of a water polo ball was not the intended sports ball( the net tends to vibrate- I just hacked this by adding some sand bags to the base), the solid construction of this net does the job well. And since it's mean to be 'portable', at the conclusion of your practice, you can quickly velcro the base down to the net and carry it away. This product feels like it will last a long time, although the netting could also play a factor in that as well. Would recommend product to all my friends.

The reason I put 'minus one' is because the out- of- bounds straps quickly faded and started to tear apart.
