A little bit of a hiccup at trying to start it. Once I opened booklet on how to start it it was excellent. Heat Hog Rules when you 're in need of heat Performance is Great so far. Do n't know yet on how long fuel uses. Experimenting on hose adapter I purchased as well. I got 1- Gallon plus bought a 30lb tank. Ca n't wait too hook up heat Hog to 30llb bought. I use this heater with a large 4 man shanty and it keeps it heated. First trip out this year was in sub- zero weather and we stayed warm all day long. One small tank of propane lasts about 3- 4 hrs on low setting. The only time I ’ ve used medium setting is to cook and have never used the high setting.
