Got fit for this driver and bought it. Per the results of my fitting, I have the settings down to a 9. 5° loft(- 1° draw setting), and have the 12g weight in the heel and the 3g weight in the back of the club. During my very first round, my slice is nearly gone. My drives are flying much straighter. But the biggest improvement I saw was the misses are nowhere near as bad. Instead of huge slices, the Cobra Darkspeed Max minimizes those greatly to baby fades that miss just right of the fairway in the first cut if you do happen to miss right. Very happy with the results after just one round. I ’ m going to invest in the Cobra Darkspeed Fairway Woods& Hybrid as well.

I have played golf 3 times since buying this driver. My previous model was probably 9 years old and was a Cobra as well. I am stunned by how forgiving this driver is. I have not sliced badly yet! Also, when hitting off the heel or low still having very good results. The distance is superb as well. I am seeing much longer distances. I hit it great at the demo but not so much after:-) I saw this driver on sale because it was last years model and I have played Cobra before so I bought it after reading some reviews. I 've only had the driver for a couple of weeks and I 'm still dialing it in. I had been playing with a 11- year- old TaylorMade driver and thought it was time for an upgrade. There might be a little bit extra distance on the new driver, but it is hard to say because I have n't played with it enough to get everything set the way I would like. Over the last tear and a half I have been switching drivers and shafts to find something that can keep my spin and launch in check but also deliver consistency. This is the first driver that has done that for me. I was playing the paradym triple diamond before this and while it kept spin low it would also have left hooks that died out of the air if i was even a fraction into the high toe side. This cobra driver if I catch it in the toe the spin still stays in the 1800- 2000 and holds the line reasonably well. This is definitely the best most forgiving low spin driver i have tried.

For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! That first drive was right on the sweet spot. Other drives that weren ’ t quite on the sweet spot were still impressive. Tee the ball high( I use marked blue tees) and you won ’ t be disappointed.

I am about a 15 handicap and was previously using a Titleist TS2 that I could never quite get used to. I rented the Qi10 Max a few different times while traveling and it just “ felt right ” as soon as I started to play with it. Now that the newer models are out, the Qi10 fell within my price range and I ’ m super happy with it after playing a few rounds. The reputation is well earned as it is super forgiving, as my mishits still get plenty of distance. I also feel like I get a better arc on the drives than with my previous driver. I know that many characteristics are simply subjective, but this driver gives me confidence when I ’ m standing over it. If you can snag one of these on sale, I don ’ t think you ’ d be disappointed! Was fitted into this club in my first ever fitting, and could n't be more pleased. I played a lot as a kid, and have been getting back into the game now in my mid- 30s. I purchased the Strata set in December to get back into things, but was slicing my driver to kingdom come; good distance but wildly inconsistent off the tee. The fitting put me into the X, for forgiveness; 9○ loft, turned down to 8○; hosel set to draw bias; and weight also set to draw. Shaft is the MC Tensei 1K Black 65 XStiff. Was immediately pleased at the range leading up to our weekly round. My pleasure grew when I played my first round with it. More distance, tighter dispersion-- greatly improved consistency. For the first time since getting back into the game that I played the whole round with the same ball! The ONLY problem( not really a problem)... it was consistently putting me in the 30- 70 yd range on too many holes and I 'm a bit out of practice with my wedge game!

I bought it( although pricey) because my swing speed is in the low 80's and i am the shortest length off tee in my group. Back in the day I had the Callaway FT Optiforce and loved it. It was light, easy to hit and really long. Since then I have struggled to find a driver with a lighter feel that didn ’ t feel like I was swinging a 5 pound weight on a stick. The Big Bertha driver fits the bill. I am about a 15 handicap and was previously using a Titleist TS2 that I could never quite get used to. I rented the Qi10 Max a few different times while traveling and it just “ felt right ” as soon as I started to play with it. Now that the newer models are out, the Qi10 fell within my price range and I ’ m super happy with it after playing a few rounds. The reputation is well earned as it is super forgiving, as my mishits still get plenty of distance. I also feel like I get a better arc on the drives than with my previous driver. I know that many characteristics are simply subjective, but this driver gives me confidence when I ’ m standing over it. If you can snag one of these on sale, I don ’ t think you ’ d be disappointed! For years I ’ ve always wanted to play a Ping Driver but I always struggled with them for some reason. Mainly I really struggled to turn the ball over and hit a draw no matter how I adjusted the weight or loft. I had a very pronounced miss to the right which is not my typical miss. Also, I never liked the sound and feel of Ping drivers and they lacked distance when compared to other drivers because of the weight of the head despite a counter balanced shaft. On a whim I decided to hit a demo at my local golf store and I was really shocked. Excellent forgiveness, a very straight ball flight even when I didn ’ t put my best swing on it and improved distance. What was even more surprising was a big improvement in sound and feel. Be sure to get the right shaft as well. The Denali Red fit me absolutely perfectly( which could explain my great experience with this driver). Nonetheless the G440 Max is just plain great.

I played the G430 Max for about a year or more and switched to the G430 SFT. I found it more forgiving. I turned around and bought the 440 Max because it had a draw setting not present in the G430 Max. I returned it after a couple of weeks and exchanged it for the G 440 SFT. I have been extremely pleased. Although I play a draw and do n't slice too often, I still like to eliminate the potential. I do n't necessarily need to or want to `` work '' the ball and if I know my drives are going to go straight, slight draw or at worse weak fade, that works for me. The G 430 Max and G 440 Max definitely allowed the occasional slice.

I received the Srixon ZX5 LS MKII Driver for Christmas 2023. I have been using it for two months and I love it. The all Titanium head has a great sound and feel. I get a lot of carry from the LS model and when the ball lands it bounds forward with plenty of roll out. The driver is plenty forgiving, too. I can tell when I do n't get the sweet spot the ball still flies long and straight. I would definitely recommend this driver to other golfers seeking a low spin driver with forgiveness.
