This is a classic “ canvas ” creel like one I bought 50 years ago and finally wore out. It ’s a tried and true design. The price was the lowest around. Most of my fishing gear and clothes are weathered and faded, so I tried to age the bag a bit so it didn ’ t look like I ’ m a newbie to fishing. I couldn ’ t get it to stain or fade at all. It ’s tough stuff!

I was looking for a liner for this basket, so I called the manufacturer( Pack Baskets of Maine) and spoke to one of the owners, who was very helpful. When I returned to the Dick's web site I noticed that they had the wrong manufacturer listed in addition to listing the basket as `` imported ''. I just wanted to let everyone know that the basket is made here in the USA, and it is a very high quality basket.
