I was looking for a new net and since I mostly fish from a canoe was looking for a short handle net. This net exceeded my expectations. The extending handle is a great feature and I really like the mesh. I would not call the mesh tangle proof but definitely a very big improvement over the typical nylon mesh. And it floats!

[ I bought this net to use while fishing from my kayak. I like that the handle folds in half making it more compact, however the hinge when latched comes undone a little easier then i would like. It doesn ’ t effect landing fish but it is annoying when you set the net down it wants to close. Also the net does not float so I had to add pipe insulation around the handle. Over all it ’s a great net, those are my only 2 complaints.
