[ Have some how ended up with a shepherd that LOVES to swim. Bailey will race you to the water, jump off a still moving boat and loves to synchronize swim. The ease and speed with which he can be suited up for the water makes this the ideal vest for him. Love the full wrap flotation this vest offers. The additional buoyancy gives him great confidence in the jump. So happy overall fit, quality of materials and again the speedy on.( Can not stress enough the ease of the suit up!) Oh also love the leash attachment for those emergency potty stops when he drinks the whole lake.

It is a slimmer profile, although some reviewers claim it's not as bouyant, it worked well for our purposes I would have preferred the original red currant color be kept over time to allow gear to retrofit better.

1st PFD. The Fisherman has more adjustment straps to get a snug fit and the is more comfortable than the other comparable PFDs I tried on. The rigidity of the 2 front zippered pockets is also a plus, IMO, over the other comparable PFDs because they act as trays to set gear on when making fishing setup adjustemnts. However, some of the other comparable PFDs seem to have more gear storage options/pockets than the Fisherman but comfort and adjustment was more important to me than gear storage volume. Plus, more gear in and on the PDF equals more weight which may not be a good thing in an emergency situation whilst on a lake or river.

As an avid dragon boat and outrigger canoe paddler, safety is important. It came to my attention my prior PFD was too large to be effective in case of emergency. I found not one, but three different XS vests to choose from, and went with the mid- priced Onyx Airspan Breeze. It's perfect! An added bonus is the pockets are actually usable! I had expected them to be too small, but they are more than roomy enough for keys, wallet, small phone, etc., which I slip in after bagging in plastic, just to be sure they stay dry. Overall, I 'm VERY HAPPY with this purchase and highly recommend this vest, especially if you are looking for one that comes in a size that is safe and effective for those of us smaller in stature( 5' tall& 95 lbs). After an extensive search, both online and in retail stores, we decided on purchasing a pair of these. We were not disappointed!! The price was right, the quality great and they look and feel nice as well. My wife is still getting used to the side entry( as opposed to a front zip or clip) but has come to appreciate them not being in front of her where they might occasionally snag on something. Overall, we are completely satisfied with all aspects of this item!!
