I have the 12v system for all day riding on my Goldwing. I use this for days when I am off and on the bike a lot because I do n't have to worry about extra wires. Also great for motorcycles that do n't have a large enough electrical system plus other non- riding adventures. Typically using the lower power modes I all day warmth. I have an extra battery that I also carry and rarely need to use it. Wear it as a thermal layer under a coat for max protection and warmth. At times I will even wear it around the house instead of turning up the thermostat. I have the fleece vest version too.

The jacket is warm by itself but the added heat makes it my daily jacket now as I go skiing on subzero temperatures. It's warm enough on# 2 setting and so far the batteries have lasted for the 4 hours I was outside with still some life in them. On# 3 you will get heat for just over 2 hours. I wish there was a bit of heat in the arms but the back and front are the most important parts of your body you want to keep warm. Overall I am very satisfied.

It ’s lightweight enough to e breathable but at the same time the Omni- tech heating feature kept me warm during a hike. Love that it ’s waterproof as well( walked in rain& I was completely dry). The hood is also great- I can wear a winter hat underneath it& it ’s not too loose. Plus the moonbeam color is my favorite color. 10/10 would recommend.

Bought this recently, a week old review. Shipping was quick and efficient. With regards to the jacket, it keeps you warm and cosy even when there is a gust. Looks a bit handful but performs like a workhorse. The pockets are deep and well- thought positions. The hand pockets with warm liners are cosy when you forgot your gloves. The Hood is padded and adjustable so this eliminates the need for a beanie until unless is heavy gust or snow. There is enough space for both beanie and glove in case you choose to wear them with you along with the jacket. The secret pocket inside the chest is a good place for either mobile, cards, car keys or something valuable. A small elastic compartment in the outer chest pocket is for something like a go- to bag to keep keys secure and have quick access to. Overall build quality is excellent. Being used other fjallraven products longevity of their products is unparalleled. The arm length is a bit larger for me, Please take a measurement of yourself with all the inner layers( i. e- day to day clothing which you might be wearing inside the coat).

I was looking for a very warm, every day jacket. I usually buy ski gear type stuff.... something that you need to layer up and stay active to keep warm in. I was finally ready to buy a jacket that I could stay warm in when I was just standing around. After reading some of the reviews I was afraid that this was not the jacket I was looking for. I expected it not to be warm enough. I was wrong. This jacket is super warm. In 23° F with the wind and snow blowing, it's toasty warm with just a t shirt and flannel underneath. The design is awesome too. The hood is nice, there are pockets everywhere, it fits great, not too baggy, not too tight and it feels super durable while looking good for pretty much any occasion. I also tried a Singi wool padded parka thinking the Skogso would n't be warm enough. The Singi is amazingly warm but is overkill for daily wear where I live( our cold days are usually 0° to 25+° F). The Singi would be great for standing around in sub 0°F weather but is too bulky to wear every day for me.

I use this jacket as my daily driver for Ohio winters, where temperatures can sit right around the freezing point or drop into deep freeze throughout a single day. So far it has performed admirably in rain, snow, sleet, and whatever else it might chuck down at us poor midwesterners. I 'd advise picking up some Greenland wax and applying a couple coats at the beginning of winter, it improves an already good wind resistance and makes the G- 1000 practically waterproof. I 've been very impressed and plan to keep the jacket for a very long time. I use the jacket daily for walking the dog in any and all weather, and would n't hesitate to take it snowboarding, winter trekking, or commuting by bike. I did have one issue where the hem cinch stop popped off leaving the flex cord dangling out of the bottom of the jacket, but found it easy to repair since the cord is routed into the inner pockets. I just cut the frayed end and put the stop back on. Looks like it came brand new.

[ I love that Nike found a way to make a women's jacket stylish AND warm. Big pockets? Yes. Warm hood? Yes. Plenty of filling? Yes. Just what you need on a cold winter day to enjoy being outside. It's slick enough on the outside to be ok in light snow. Fit is generous: long sleeves and a wide body make it pretty comfortable. It cinches around the waistline too which helps keep the heat in.

[ Overall, I think this Prima Puffer is great and would recommend it to anyone consider giving it a try. It ’s extremely comfortable, and I see myself being totally warm on the coldest of winter day. The material inside is soft while still being very insulated. The fit is certainly baggier than standard sizes, which is part of the design rather than being a flaw. While stylistically I personally prefer more fitted pieces, that doesn ’ t take away from the quality of the Prima Puffer whatsoever; there are tons of people who will prefer the baggier fit. You can see from the profile photo the logistics of the hood; it ’s very large and roomy. It ’ d be a really good hood if I had my hair done in a glamorous updo or needed to preserve the style while still wanting/needing a hood.. this one would be great for that since it ’s so large.

[ Honestly when I tried this jacket on for the first time I was n't sure if I could pull this look off. I am approximately 5'3 '' and 110 pounds and this jacket is very fluffy and has an oversized look. The first time I tried this jacket on I fell immediately in love with the hoodie. This hoodie is big, looks amazing and is so comfortable. The whole jacket is super comfortable and very well made. This is my first Nike jacket and I am impressed with the quality. The details are on point and I really like the overall style. I just love the wide trim of the hoodie that also hides the zipper and provides two additional buttons to close the jacket. One button is on the upper end of the zipper and the other on the lower end. The hoodie also has a small white embroidered Nike logo on one side and a bigger stitched- in logo on the back that adds just the right amount of branding. There are a lot of black on black Nike logos on the inside of the jacket but the logos on the outside are more subtle. You can adjust the fit of the jacket by tightening it on the bottom or you can tighten the hoodie on both ends. There are also two outside pockets with zippers located on the front of each side of the jacket. Each pocket has a very soft inner lining that feels warm and comfortable. On the inside you will find a smaller inside pocket that has one snap button to close it. If I have to complain about one thing it would be that the zipper pulls are very small and might be a little bit harder to handle if you wear gloves. I will just add a little pull string to make it easier for me to use so it is not a big deal for me. What really impressed me is how warm this jacket is! The jacket is made out of Nike Therma- Fit technology and promises to manage your natural heat to keep you warm. I own many jackets but I have never felt my body warm up so quickly as with this jacket. I am amazed how warm this jacket keeps me and can not wait to take it out during the colder season. We are an outdoor family and love to spend time in the snow. With a young kid you will find me outside any and every day and I already know that this jacket will be my new favorite for any kind of winter activity.

[ I was n't too sure initially how much I 'd love this jacket, but honestly, I 'm sold! I was really impressed with how lightweight and breathable this jacket is. It doesn ’ t feel bulky at all, is easy to throw on over almost anything, and it still does a great job of cutting the wind. I even wore it in warm, pretty humid weather and was surprised that I didn ’ t feel overly hot or weighed down in it. If I had to be hyper critical, it did feel like it runs about one size too big. I compared my exact measurements against Northface's size chart, but it feels a bit large, boxy through the shoulders. I do n't mind this too much though as I 'm usually laying it over something. It moves easily and packs down really well, so it would be great for travel or throwing in a backpack when the weather might change. I think it ’s best for hiking, walking, travel, or everyday use when you want some wind protection without a heavy jacket. Overall, it ’s a really versatile layer that ’s easy to keep with you. [ I received the North Face Nuketo Synthetic Jacket for free in exchange for my honest review. This jacket is a great addition to any wardrobe, whether that wardrobe is geared towards urban living or the outdoor adventure lifestyle. I tested this jacket during the cooler evenings in Truckee whilst star gazing, and in over air conditioned, absolutely freezing, office meetings rooms. I thought the slightly more boxy/semi- cropped fit of the jacket was super cute and very flattering with a pair of jeans, but also looked great when I wore it with a casual pair of work pants. With that being said, I know cropped/boxy looks better on me because I have a long torso. The insulation was just enough for a 50° evening with a light sweatshirt layer underneath without feeling too tight or restrictive. It fit true to size- I went with an XS and that felt perfect for me. I definitely think this is a great shoulder season jacket based on the amount of insulation it has and the coverage. The jacket also moves really well and I would absolutely grab this and throw it in my shoulder bag or day bag if I needed some extra warmth. It ’s probably not the jacket I would reach for when backpacking because I prefer a hooded jacket and one that packs down a little smaller. Overall, it ’s a very comfy and cozy down jacket that I look forward to wearing more this fall.

Rainier and on a beach hike. The beach hike was warm because it ’s August! Once the sun went down it got chilly and my North Face came out! It was cute, comfortable and warm. The mountain hike was much colder but the jacket kept me warm without being too bulky. It allows for easy movement and has spacious pockets including an extra zipper chest pocket. Being summer, I wasn ’ t wearing an abundance of layers so the jacket was great, but it might not accommodate extra clothing underneath. I feel like it ran a tiny bit small for layering. The sleeves were a touch short on me as well. Consider sizing up if you have long arms or live in a cold climate and plan on lots of layers. However, if you ’ re just looking for a cute, stylish puffy to wear around town, it should be perfect as- is. There is a simple elastic band around the wrist, vs a cuff with a snap for gloves like some NF puffers have. Overall, love the look, comfort and warmth! It ’s going to make winter a little more fun!

I ended up sewing a name tag into the fuzzy side, because that's so essential for preschool, so it's maybe not 100% reversible now. But I love that the reversible nature makes it so seamless on the inside for kids.

I bought this jacket because I was struggling with my two kids on wearing the appropriate jackets for cold mornings walking to the bus stop. Got a blue Ghost Whisperer when it was 50% off( when they introduced the new blue color). Last night I decided to really push the temperature range and wore it for a decent walk in 5 Degree(- 15 Wind Chill) temps. I was wearing an undershirt, button down, and the ghost whisperer with hat and scarf and was pretty comfortable the whole time. I 'm glad to know that I can layer this with my winter coat and get down to super low temperatures. Beyond happy with this jacket!

Many down jackets with smother you with heat no matter how light they are, but this one does not do that. I am going top use this for winter golf as a layering piece. I normally wear a medium and this one I ordered a large so I can put a fleece underneath and still swing a golf club- this one is spot on. find a layer that can work for golf and keep you warm is a rare find. This one is super versatile.

This coat is awesome. It is crazy super warm for both wind and low temps. The fit is excellent, and the overall quality is great and where it should be as a Nike product.
