[ My husband and I are rangers for The Dyrt. com, and we occasionally get products to test from time to time. On a trip to Joshua Tree National Park we had the opportunity to test some Oofos, and they were awesome! I 'll admit without shame that when I pulled them out of the box and squeezed them, I actually did say, `` OOOOOH! '' They are super cushy! We used them in the mornings when we needed to let our puppy out of the tent, and when we got back to camp after a long day of hiking, and they were absolutely perfect for both uses. We both liked that they 're all one piece and a lot less likely to break with wear, and they 're insanely lightweight- they 'd be a perfect backpacking camp shoe! They have great support and great cushion, and even my husband( who normally dislikes sandals) has really liked them- enough that he's said something to me, which only happens if he genuinely likes something. So good job, Oofos, you won the approval of Mr Impossible- to- Please! Haha. I think the only thing that I personally would change is that I found the toe on the flip flops to be a bit uncomfortable, and I think I 'd be happier with a slide style like my husband got.

My husband, and I each got a pair of the OOFOS OOriginal Sport Sandals and spent the last couple weeks hiking, cycling, and camping in them in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. These are not your average pair of flip flops…they are amazing! We may never take them off. What we love about these shoes:* Unbelievably comfortable! Designed as a recovery shoe but can be worn for just about everything from the shower to the campground to light hiking and cycling.* The toe thong is integrated into the sole, making them more durable and less likely to pull through/out. The rubber is so soft that it doesn ’ t irritate the area between the toes, even after walking in them for many hours.* Stylish! I wore them with a nice outfit and my feet didn ’ t feel underdressed.* They stay on your feet when walking in water. These are a cute upgrade to my usual Teva Mush II sandals. They 're a little `` dressier '' in comparison. They 're still flip flops, but I feel more put together in these and feel less bad about wearing them out. Still not fancy so I would n't suggest wearing these to a formal event, but for a casual event or dinner, yes. Great for day to day. I 'm an 8 1/2 but there are n't half sizes and I opted for the 9 but it fit pretty well so I put that they 're a half size too small. I do n't know if a true size 9 will wear these and find that the case but for me, being an 8 1/2, the 9s fit just right so I went up a half size. It's personal preference. I 'd recommend these. I wish I got more colors than black.

This is my second pair after 3 years of wearing them basically everyday. As someone with planters faciitis and a heavy heel walker, walking around my home barefoot can trigger a swell. They keep the heel pain at bay. These flip flops are nice looking with casual and sports wear. A huge plus being they 're waterproof and very easy to clean. After 3 years they barely faded after spending 90% of my time outside in heavy sunlight. I would personally not recommend for wide feet as they fit very narrow on my narrow feet.

I am one of those women who overheats easily, gets a headache, and is down for the count for at least six hours afterwards. Walking my pupper in the summer, even early mornings or when the sun has set, has always been difficult because of this, and traditional running or walking shoes do nothing to help the situation. With these, I am able to walk her, remain much cooler, and still move with ease. They are meant for trails, but have you seen the state of many city streets and' sidewalks' lately? I have worn them transitioning from smooth blacktop to crumbling sidewalks and a few dirt tracks. They do n't cause your feet to slide on wet surfaces and grip muddy rocks well.
