[ My husband and I are rangers for The Dyrt. com, and we occasionally get products to test from time to time. On a trip to Joshua Tree National Park we had the opportunity to test some Oofos, and they were awesome! I 'll admit without shame that when I pulled them out of the box and squeezed them, I actually did say, `` OOOOOH! '' They are super cushy! We used them in the mornings when we needed to let our puppy out of the tent, and when we got back to camp after a long day of hiking, and they were absolutely perfect for both uses. We both liked that they 're all one piece and a lot less likely to break with wear, and they 're insanely lightweight- they 'd be a perfect backpacking camp shoe! They have great support and great cushion, and even my husband( who normally dislikes sandals) has really liked them- enough that he's said something to me, which only happens if he genuinely likes something. So good job, Oofos, you won the approval of Mr Impossible- to- Please! Haha. I think the only thing that I personally would change is that I found the toe on the flip flops to be a bit uncomfortable, and I think I 'd be happier with a slide style like my husband got.

My husband, and I each got a pair of the OOFOS OOriginal Sport Sandals and spent the last couple weeks hiking, cycling, and camping in them in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. These are not your average pair of flip flops…they are amazing! We may never take them off. What we love about these shoes:* Unbelievably comfortable! Designed as a recovery shoe but can be worn for just about everything from the shower to the campground to light hiking and cycling.* The toe thong is integrated into the sole, making them more durable and less likely to pull through/out. The rubber is so soft that it doesn ’ t irritate the area between the toes, even after walking in them for many hours.* Stylish! I wore them with a nice outfit and my feet didn ’ t feel underdressed.* They stay on your feet when walking in water. My previous pair of flip flops felt like they were coated in Vaseline when they got wet, but these sandals stay put. They float, which is plus if you lose them in the lake. I started wearing them only at times they were mainly advertised and intended: A recovery sandal to wear after exercise( runners love these). I was wearing them after playing hockey, and as my post- hiking footwear. They 're fine in showers and are crazy cushiony because of their arch support and foam material. I wear them all the time now, just because I like the amount of impact absorption these puppies can handle, which saves some stress in my knees and back, and that's always good even when you do n't have back problems like me. After 2 months of solid use logging around 100 miles over every realistic terrain( loose gavel, pavement, indoors, locker room showers, grass, backcountry campsites, etc. etc.) the tread is finally showing signs of wear down. If they get smelly you can machine wash them( still have n't needed to) and the OOfoam has some moisture and bacteria resistant properties to keep the bad smells from sinking in. Get your feet a pair of these people, they 're so light and comfortable.

These are a cute upgrade to my usual Teva Mush II sandals. They 're a little `` dressier '' in comparison. They 're still flip flops, but I feel more put together in these and feel less bad about wearing them out. Still not fancy so I would n't suggest wearing these to a formal event, but for a casual event or dinner, yes. Great for day to day. I 'm an 8 1/2 but there are n't half sizes and I opted for the 9 but it fit pretty well so I put that they 're a half size too small. I do n't know if a true size 9 will wear these and find that the case but for me, being an 8 1/2, the 9s fit just right so I went up a half size. It's personal preference. I 'd recommend these. I wish I got more colors than black.

Got them because I was injured and couldn ’ t wear closed toe shoes and now I just ordered a second pair because they keep my feet from getting tired. This is my second pair after 3 years of wearing them basically everyday. As someone with planters faciitis and a heavy heel walker, walking around my home barefoot can trigger a swell. They keep the heel pain at bay. These flip flops are nice looking with casual and sports wear. A huge plus being they 're waterproof and very easy to clean. After 3 years they barely faded after spending 90% of my time outside in heavy sunlight. I would personally not recommend for wide feet as they fit very narrow on my narrow feet.

These are all new for OluKai in many ways. The footbed has a softer and more pliable rubber giving the entire flip flop a higher impact resistance over any terrain. The ride is almost luxurious like a custom orthotic. It has a high arch and the shoe is built a bit wider. I would say they run 1/2 size larger. I wear a size 11. 5 in running shoes and I purchased a size 11 in the Ahi Kai and are perfect. Highly recommend these as you sporty/water do- it- all flip flops. They look high end enough for nighttime but sporty enofor the beach.
